These colors are made to be applied THIN Rather than pile on shading material to increase shade,we give you an increased chroma for each shade range in 3 levels of 1%, 2% and 3%.

TLS shading Liquid is used to enable you to see the final appearance of the porcelain without firing the restoration. It matches the refraction (appearance ) of fired porcelain , Common stain liquids cloud the ceramic materials 20 to 30%. TLS shading liquid turns clear glaze water clear.

Stella Luminoso Bioluminescent Frit Palette

Smoke Level 1,2,&3 Lower the value ( Increase Gray) by 1,2 ,3 %

Incisal level Z1 is whitest (highest value)the value Lowers (gets grayer) with level Z2

There are 3 levels of A,B,C,D,4M & 5M ,This enables you to increase the middle third or cervical third without piling on the color. The White is high chroma for decalcified zonesThe Blue will simulate translucency on incisal tips“4M is for 3D shade 4M1 & 4M2 5M is for 3D shade 5M shades

Glaze is water clear and should be applied thin All of the shades are self glazing –

they do not need a layer of clear over them

21st century Nano color particle technology enables us to use illumination to manage restoration shading externally and internally. In the past we internally modified the body shade powders and then fired them to see if we had the modification correct. If we were off we ground it back and re blended & re fired the porcelain.

We are not reflecting color off of opaqued alloy frames and trying to resolve direct reflection and oxide migration issues. The new challenge is to manage illumination within the restoration and on the restoration surface.Stella Luminoso frit ability to refract light and internally illuminate the crystals adds a new dimension to our aesthetic capabilities.

Fig. 23 is emax witha pronounced mammalon cut back .

Fig.25 is the fired Stella Luminoso frit frit on the interface. I took the option to adjust the powder to theSpectrafire Digital Rx.The Rx called for a clear incisal. .

Fig.24 is shaded with Stella Luminoso frit shading material prior to firing.

Fig.26 Is built with a single single powder clear Incisal enamel overlay.

Fig 28 Hot clear Poly chromatic Frit, fired. No surface tint. The Halo is a natural illumination Effect of refracted light -it is not a white line of stain.

A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play. His labor and his leisure, his mind and his body, his education and his recreation he hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, leaves others to determine weather he is working or playing. To himself ,he always appears to be doing both-Francoise Rene Auguste Chateaubriand

--The only competitor that can defeat us is in our reflection, & our inability to excel to higher standards tomorrow than we worked to today. J Jim Emmons CDT, FNBC
