Abstract: Culture is an integral part of the overall social and individual life, or a collection ofall signicant human achievements, both material and spiritual, without which there could beno man. At the same time, culture mimics cultivation, cultivation, breeding, and everything thatoccurs to human persistence, and expressing knowledge, ideas and experience. It izmigolja-va with equating civilization and argues that there is any signicant difference between them.Etymologically speaking, civilization would have led to the larger human and social phenomenawhile the culture tied to the term kultus, meaning deity and everything related to the sky, transcen-dence and beyond. Certainly the kultus in time become a more general term and to accept it as wehave already interpreted, but will never fade strong opportunism among civilizations and culturesand qualifying them something, and that is religion.
