It’s been a long Summer and we are excited to hear what’s new with you.

We already have a few dates for your diaries, marked in the Calendar inside and are hoping you can

take the separate return slip back to Sunday School as soon as possible.

Our Summer Trip has been planned for the 9th

of September at

Aberdeen Snowsports Centre, Garthdee. The plan is to go

tubing from 10am to 11am, have a snack or an early lunch then

snow board un'l pick up 'me at 12.45. If dropping your child

off for 10am at the centre (next to Asda) or picking them up is

a problem please let us know. More informa'on will follow.

Harvest will be here before we know it and we would like to

con'nue our tradi'on of giving small sweet bags to church

members or friends who can’t make Sunday services or are in need

of a li0le cheering up. Can we please have dona'ons of individually

wrapped sweets – hard, chocolate or chewy! We will be making the

bags up on Sunday the 30th

September so if we could have all contribu'ons

by then that would be great.

Our coffee morning is going to be the 3rd

November this year and it would be

great to see as many people as possible there. Any contribu'ons of baking,

raffle prizes, or bo0les for the bo0le stall would be appreciated.

Remembrance Sunday is the 11th

November and although the young adults in the Sunday

School may wish to stay up stairs our younger members will be in the hall for the dura'on

of the service. (This will also be the case on the 14th

October for Communion.)

We have yet to confirm dates for our Christmas party or Na'vity rehearsal but we will keep you

posted. Similarly, we have a provisional date for the Na'vity of the 23rd

December but that will also

need to be confirmed. Our seats however for the Inveruire Panto ‘Sleeping Beauty’ are already

booked! Last year we asked families to take their children to Inverurie for the 7pm performance and

we invited their ‘chauffeur’ to join us for the show. We will be doing the same on the 16th

December.

Just a few reminders that we are sure you are aware of…

On occasion we will be heading to the park and unless we hear otherwise we will be assuming that

we have your permission to take your child. We some'mes have a snack so please let us know if you

have any concerns over this.

If you know your are not going to be a0ending Sunday School please let us know, it may make a

difference to our plans.

The Sunday School team are looking forward to all the fun things we have planned and spending 'me

with you all.
