Ironing temperature

- Always check first if a label with ironinginstructions is attached to the article to beironed. Follow these ironing instructions inall cases.

- If ironing instructions are missing but you knowthe kind of fabric, then see the table forrecommended ironing temperatures.

- After the pilot light (G) has gone out and comeon again you can start ironing.

• During ironing the pilot light will come on fromtime to time. When this happens, the soleplateis being heated-up to the required temperatureagain. You can continue ironing.

• The table is valid for the fibre materials only.If some kind of finish has been applied (gloss,wrinkle, relief etc.), the textile can best beironed at a lower temperature.

• First sort out the fabrics according to ironingtemperature: wool with wool, cotton with cotton,etc.The iron heats up quicker than it cools down.Therefore, start ironing the articles requiring thelowest temperature such as those made ofsynthetic fibres. Then progress to the highertemperatures.

• If the article is made of a mixture of differentfibres, you must always select the lowestironing temperature of the composition of thosefibres.(E.g. an article consisting of "60% polyester and40% cotton" should be ironed at thetemperature indicated for polyester (1) andwithout steam.)If you do not know what kind(s) of fabric(s) thearticle has been made of, find a spot which willbe invisible when wearing or using the article to

Important

• Please read these instructions for usecarefully in conjunction with theillustrations before using the appliance.

• Check if the voltage rating on thetypeplate (under the steam tank)corresponds to the mains voltage inyour home.

• Never unscrew the cap of the steam tankwhile the appliance is connected to themains wall socket.

• Before using the first time remove anysticker or protective foil from thesoleplate. Clean the soleplate with a softcloth.

• Only connect the appliance to a mainsearthed wall socket.

• Never use the appliance if damaged inany way.

• Fully unwind the mains cord and supplyhose before starting to iron.

• Always unplug the iron and place it onthe stand when leaving, even when onlyfor a short while.

• Always place the iron on the iron stand.Do not place the hot iron on the steamtank, the supply hose or the mains cord.The cordset should not be allowed totouch the soleplate when it is hot.

• Fill the steam tank from a beaker with aspout to avoid spillage.

• Never fill the steam tank with vinegar,descaling agents or other chemicals.

• Never immerse the iron or the steamtank in water.

• Some parts of the iron have been slightlygreased and as a result the iron mightslightly smoke when switched on for thefirst time. After a short while, however,this will cease.

• Take care that children cannot touch theiron when hot and that they cannot pullthe mains cord or supply hose.

• Always place the steam tank on a stableironing board or table.

Filling with water (for steam-ironing)

- Position thesteam tankon a stableflat surfaceand unscrewthe cap ofthe steamtank (D) byturning anti-clockwise.

- Fill the steam tank with water(max. 0.9 litre) (fig 2).

• You can use tapwater. However, if thewater is very hard (hardness higherthan 17 °DH / 211⁄4 °Clarke), it isadvisable to use distilled water.

• Never use vinegar, descaling agentsor other chemicals.

- Close thesteam tankby turningthe screwcapclockwise byhand untiltight (fig. 3).

If you begin ironing

- Fill the steam tank before inserting themains plug into the wall socket.

While ironing

Caution: If heated-up,the steam tank will beunder pressure.Only refill if the steamtank is empty (i.e. whenno more steam comesfrom the soleplate duringsteam-ironing).

- Switch the iron off bysetting switch (C) toposition O (fig. 4).

- Switch the steam tankoff by setting switch (B)to position O (fig. 5).

• Pure woollen fabrics (100% wool) may bepressed with the iron set to a steam position. Itis recommended to apply shot-of-steam anduse a dry pressing cloth. When steam-ironing woollen fabrics, shining ofthe fabric may occur. This can be prevented byturning the article inside out and ironing theinside.

• Velvet and other textures which rapidly acquireshiny spots should be ironed in one directiononly (with the nap), applying only light pressure.Always keep the iron moving.

• Iron the reverse side of synthetic materials andsilk to prevent shining spots. When ironingcoloured silk, it is not advisable to use steam asthis may cause stains.

- Remove the mainsplug from the wallsocket.

- Using the spanner,carefully unscrew thecap of the steam tank(anti-clockwise) untilyou can hear steamescaping (fig. 6). Wait for the hissingsound to stop.This high-pitched sound is completely normaland is not dangerous.

- Carefully unscrew the cap of the steam tankfurther, until you hear the hissing sound again.Wait again until the sound stops. Proceed in thesame manner until the cap is unscrewed.

- Wait for a few minutes. Then slowly pourwater into the filling opening (D) (fig. 2).

- Close the steam tank by turning the screw capmanually (clockwise) until tight (fig. 3).

Steam-ironing

• As indicated on the temperature dial (H) andthe table, steam-ironing is only possible athigher ironing temperatures, so set the dial to2 or 3.

- Insert the mains pluginto a wall socket.

- Set switch "Steamtank On/Off" (B) toposition |. The pilotlight in the switch willcome on (fig. 7).

• The iron heats upfaster than the steamtank. Hence you canswitch on the iron afew minutes later thanthe steam tank.

- Select the requiredironing temperaturewith the temperaturedial (H) (fig. 8).

- Set switch "IronOn/Off" (C) toposition |. The pilotlight in the switch aswell as pilot light (G)will come on (fig. 9)

- After a few minutes,pilot light (G) will goout. This indicates thatthe soleplate hasreached the settemperature.

- When pilot light (B) goes out, this indicates thatthe steam tank is heated up and that steam isready. You can now start steam ironing.

- While steam-ironingkeep the steamactivator (F) pressed-in (fig. 10).

• During steam-ironingthe two pilot lights (B)and (G) will come onfrom time to time.When this happens,either the iron or thesteam tank is being heated-up to the requiredtemperature. You can continue ironing.

Steaming in a verticalposition

Hanging curtains andclothing (jackets,woman's suits, coats)can be steamed byholding the iron in avertical position (fig. 11).

Dry-ironing

• For ironing without steam, do not press-in thesteam activator (F).

• You may switch off the steam tank by settingswitch (B) to Off-position ( O ).

When finished ironing

- Switch off the steamtank and the iron(fig. 12, 13).

- Remove the mainsplug from the wallsocket.

- Place the iron on thestand and let it cooldown.

• It is not necessary topour the remainder ofthe water out of thesteam tank.

Cleaning

- Before cleaning remove the mains plug fromthe wall socket and allow the iron to cool downsufficiently.

- The appliance can be cleaned with a dampcloth.

Storage

- For transport there arehandgrips on eitherside of the steam tank(fig. 14).

Regularly check if the mains cord and the supplyhose are still in a good and safe condition.

Guarantee and service

This product is guaranteed by Philips for a periodof one year after the date of purchase againstdefects due to faulty workmanship or materials.The guarantee covers both piece parts andlabour. Température de repassage

- Vérifiez toujours au préalable les instructionsde repassage qui sont cousues sur lesvêtements.Dans tous les cas, suivez ces instructionsde repassage.

- Si les instructions de repassage manquent,mais que vous connaissez le type de textile,suivez les indications du tableau ci-après.

- Vous pouvez commencer à repasser après quele témoin lumineux (G) se soit éteint et ralluméà nouveau.

• Le témoin lumineux s’allumera et s’éteindra detemps en temps pendant le repassage.

• Le tableau est valable pour tous les tissus. Les textiles sur lesquels des finitions spécialesont été appliquées peuvent être légèrementrepassés à une température inférieure.Les textiles sur lesquels des finitions spécialesont été appliquées peuvent être légèrementrepassés à très basse température.

• Triez le linge avant de repasser: laine aveclaine, coton avec coton, etc...Le fer chauffe plus vite qu’il ne refroidit. De cefait, commencez à repasser le linge nécessitantla température la plus basse, tels que lessynthétiques. Puis continuez à destempératures plus élevées.

• Si la composition des tissus est faite deplusieurs sortes de textiles, réglez le thermostatpour celui qui nécessite la température la plusbasse (ex: un article composé de “60%polyester et 40% coton”, réglez le thermostat àla température indiquée pour polyester (•) etsans vapeur).

• Débranchez toujours votre fer et placez-le sur le socle repose-fer quand vousvous absentez, même momentanément.

• Ne posez pas le fer chaud sur lachaudière, sur le cordon de liaison ousur le cordon d’alimentation secteur.

• Remplissez la chaudière à l’aide d’ungobelet à bec verseur pour éviter touteéclaboussure.

• Ne mettez jamais de vinaigre ou d’autresagents adoucissants dans la chaudière.

• N’immergez jamais le fer ou la chaudièredans l’eau.

• Certaines parties du fer ont été un peugraissées. De ce fait, le fer peut dégagerde la fumée lors de la première mise enservice. Au bout de quelque temps, cettefumée, qui est sans aucun danger,disparaîtra.

• Tenez le fer chaud ainsi que le cordond’alimentation et le flexible hors deportée des enfants.

• Placez toujours votre fer et sa chaudièresur une table ou planche à repasserstable.

Remplissage en eau (pour repassage àla vapeur)

- Placez votre fer et son bloc chaudièresur une surface stable et dévissez lebouchon de la chaudière (D).

- Remplissezla chaudièreavec de l’eau(max. 0,9 l)(fig. 2).

• Vous pouvezutiliser del’eau durobinet.Utilisezcependantde l’eau déminéralisée si l’eau durobinet est très dure (dureté de l’eausupérieure à 30° TH). Pour la France,utilisez de l’eau déminéraliséeuniquement.

• N’utilisez jamais de vinaigre oud’agent anti-calcaire chimique.

• N’ajoutez jamais à l’eau des produitsodorisants(lavande,parfums,etc.).

- Revissez lebouchon dela chaudièreà la main etsans forcer(fig. 3).

Si vous commencez à repasser

- Remplissez toujours lachaudière avant debrancher la prise decourant.

Pendant le repassage

Attention: lorsquel’appareil chauffe, lachaudière est souspression.Vérifiez donc qu’il n’y aplus de vapeur à lasortie du fer lors durepassage à vapeuravant de remplir lachaudière.- Mettez les interrup-

teurs fer (C) et chau-dière (B) sur la posi-tion arrêt O (fig. 4 et 5).9

• Si vous ne connaissez pas la composition destissus, trouvez un endroit invisible de l’extérieur(l’intérieur par exemple) et essayez de repasseren commençant par une température basse.

• Les tissus en pure laine (100% laine) peuventêtre repassés à la vapeur. Il est préférable derégler le fer sur jet de vapeur et d’utiliser unepattemouille sèche.Pour éviter le lustrage de tissus en lainependant le repassage, repassez-les surl’envers.

• Les velours et autres textiles qui risquent de selustrer rapidement seront repassés dans uneseule direction (dans le sens des fibres) sansappuyer sur le fer toujours en mouvement.

• Repassez le côté intérieur des textilessynthétiques et de la soie pour éviter leurlustrage. N’utilisez pas le vaporisateur qui peutfaire des tâches.

- Débranchez la fichede la prise de courant.

- Dévissez le bouchonchaudière à l’aide dela clé si nécessaire(fig. 6).Si un peu de vapeursort par le bouchonlors du dévissage,attendez que celacesse. Le sifflement qui se produit est toutefois normalet sans danger pour l’utilisateur.

- Continuez prudemment à dévisser le bouchon(D) jusqu'à ce que vous entendiez le sifflementde nouveau. Attendez de nouveau que lesifflement cesse. Procédez de la même façonjusqu'à ce que le bouchon soit dévissé.

- Attendez quelques minutes avant de remplir leréservoir d'eau lentement par l'ouverture deremplissage (D) (fig. 2).

- Refermez la chaudière en vissant doucement lebouchon à la main vers la droite jusqu’à buter,sans serrer excessivement (fig. 3).

Attention - Ne serrez pas fortement, la dilatationde l’ensemble assurant l’étanchéité avec le joint.Si vous serrez trop fort, il vous sera difficiled’ouvrir pour remplir de nouveau le réservoirlorsqu’il sera chaud. Si au cours de la montée entémpérature une petite fuite de vapeur seproduisait, resserrez légèrement.

Repassage à la vapeur

• Comme indiqué sur le bouton thermostat (H) etdans le tableau, vous ne pouvez repasser à lavapeur qu’à des températures élevées, aussiréglez le bouton (H) sur 2 ou 3.

- Branchez l’appareil.- Positionnez

“l’interrupteurchaudière” (B) surmarche (position I).Le témoin lumineux del’interrupteur s’allume(fig. 7).

• Le fer chauffe plus viteque la chaudière. Dece fait, vous pouvezmettre en marche lefer quelques minutesplus tard que lachaudière.

- Sélectionnez latempérature derepassage (H) (fig. 8).

- Positionnez “l’inter-rupteur fer” (C) surmarche (position I). Letémoin lumineux del’interrupteur (G)s’allume (fig. 9).

- Au bout de quelquesminutes, ce témoinlumineux s’éteint. Lasemelle est à bonnetempérature.

- Lorsque la pression vapeur est atteinte, letémoin lumineux (B) s’éteint également. Vouspouvez commencer à repasser.

- Pour repasser à lavapeur, appuyez sur lebouton (F) (fig. 10).

• Pendant le repassage,les 2 témoins (B) et(G) peuvent s’éteindreet se rallumer detemps à autre. Ceciest normal et ne nuitpas au repassage.

Repassage en positionverticale

Vous pouvez repasserdes rideaux suspenduset des vêtements(vestes, tailleurs,manteaux) en tenant lefer en position verticale(fig. 11).

Repassage à sec

• Pour le repassage à sec (c’est-à-direrepassage sans vapeur) n’enfoncez pas lebouton de production de vapeur (F).

• Vous pouvez éteindre la chaudière enpositionnant l’interrupteur (B) sur O si vousn’utilisez plus le repassage à la vapeur.

Après le repassage

- Arrêtez la chaudière etle fer (fig. 12, 13).

- Débranchez l’appareil.- Placez le fer sur la

plaque repose-fer etlaissez-le refroidir.

• Il n’est pas nécessairede vider l’eau restantdans la chaudièreaprès chaqueutilisation.

Il n’est toutefois passouhaitable que l’eaustagne trop longtempsdans la chaudière. Encas de non-utilisationprolongée, il est doncconseillé de vaporiser toute l’eau contenuedans la chaudière et d’ôter le bouchon ou nerevisser celui-ci que partiellement.

Nettoyage

- Avant de nettoyer l’appareil, débranchez lafiche de la prise et attendez qu’il soitsuffisamment refroidi.

- La semelle, le corps du fer et la chaudièrepeuvent alors être nettoyés avec un chiffonhumide.

Rangement

- Pour le transport,utilisez les poignéesde chaque côté(fig. 14).

- Vérifiez régulièrementque les cordonsd’alimentation et deliaison soient en bonétat.

• Achten Sie darauf, daß Kinder nicht dieheiße Bügelsohle berühren und dasNetzkabel oder den Verbindungsschlauchnicht herabreißen können.

• Stellen Sie den Dampftank immer auf einfeststehendes Bügelbrett oder auf einenTisch.

- Prüfen Sie zuerst immer, ob das zu bügelndeWäschestück ein Etikett mit Bügel-vorschriften enthält. Befolgen Sie dieseBügelvorschriften in jedem Falle.

- Wenn die Bügelvorschrift fehlt und Sie aber dieTextilart kennen, so schauen Sie in der Tabellemit den empfohlenen Bügeltemperaturen nach.

- Sie können mit dem Bügeln beginnen, sobalddie Kontrollampe (G) erst aus- und dann wiederangegangen ist.

• Während des Bügelns geht die Kontrollampevon Zeit zu Zeit an und wieder aus. Dann wirddie Bügelsohle wieder auf die erforderlicheTemperatur aufgeheizt. Sie können dabeiweiterbügeln.

• Die Tabelle gilt nur für die dort aufgeführtenMaterialien ohne Appretur. Chemischbehandeltes Material (Glanz, Relief, knitterfreiusw.) ist bei niedrigerer Temperatur alsangegeben zu bügeln.

• Sortieren Sie zuvor das Bügelgut nach dererforderlichen Bügeltemperatur: Wolle zu Wolle,Baumwolle zu Baumwolle usw.

Wichtig

• Lesen Sie diese Gebrauchsanweisungsorgfältig durch, und sehen Sie sichdabei die Abbildungen an, bevor Sie dasGerät zum ersten Mal benutzen.

• Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme, ob dieSpannungsangabe auf dem Typenschildauf der Unterseite des Dampftanks mitder örtlichen Netzspannungübereinstimmt.

• Schließen Sie das Gerät nur an eineSchutzkontakt-Steckdose an.

• Öffnen Sie niemals den Deckel desDampftanks, während der Stecker in derSteckdose steckt.

• Entfernen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauchalle Aufkleber und die Schutzfolie vonder Bügelsohle. Reinigen Sie dieBügelsohle mit einem weichen Tuch.

• Einige Teile des Bügeleisens sind leichteingefettet und können beim erstenGebrauch etwas Rauch entwickeln. Dasgeht nach kurzer Zeit vorüber.

• Benutzen Sie das Gerät niemals, wenn esin irgend einer Hinsicht beschädigt ist.

• Wickeln Sie das Netzkabel und denVerbindungsschlauch vollständig ab,bevor Sie mit dem Bügeln beginnen.

• Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus derSteckdose und stellen Sie dasBügeleisen auf die Abstellfläche, wennSie den Raum verlassen oder dasBügeln, und sei es nur für kurze Zeit,unterbrechen.

• Stellen Sie das Bügeleisen immer auf derAbstellfläche ab. Stellen Sie das heißeBügeleisen nicht auf den Dampftank undnicht auf den Verbindungsschlauch oderauf das Netzkabel, sie dürfen nicht mitder heißen Bügelsohle in Berührungkommen.

• Füllen Sie den Dampftank mit Hilfe einesMeßbechers mit Ausguß, damit keinWasser vorbeiläuft.

• Füllen Sie niemals Essig, einEntkalkungsmittel oder andereChemikalien in den Dampftank.

• Tauchen Sie das Bügeleisen oder denDampftank niemals in Wasser.

verwenden ein trockenes Bügeltuch.Es kann vorkommen, daß dieOberfläche von Wollsachen nach demBügeln glänzt. Das läßt sichvermeiden, indem Sie das Teil vonlinks, von der Rückseite, bügeln.

• Samt und andere Gewebe, die beimBügeln rasch glänzende Stellenannehmen, sollten Sie nur in eineRichtung (“mit dem Strich”) und ohneDruck bügeln.Halten Sie das Bügeleisen dabeiständig in Bewegung.

• Bügeln Sie Synthetics und Seide stetsvon links, um glänzende Stellen zuvermeiden. Beim Bügeln gefärbterSeide ist von der Dampfanwendungabzuraten, weil sonst Fleckenentstehen können.

Mit Wasser füllen zum Dampfbügeln

• Ziehen Sie ggf. zuerst den Steckeraus der Steckdose.

- Stellen Sie den Dampftank auf einefeste und ebene Fläche, undschrauben Sie den Schraubdeckel (D)ab, indem Sie ihn gegen denUhrzeigersinn drehen.

- Füllen Sieden Dampf-tank mitmaximal 0,9Liter Wasser(Abb. 2).

• Sie könnenLeitungswasserverwenden.

• Verwenden Sieniemals Essig,Entkalkungsmittel oder andere Chemikalien.

- Drehen Sie den Schraubdeckel imUhrzeigersinn, bis er völlig schließt (Abb. 3).

- Stecken Sie erst danach den Stecker wieder indie Steckdose.

Nachfüllen während des Bügelns

Vorsicht: Der heißeDampftank steht unterDruck!Füllen Sie nur dannWasser nach, wenn derDampftank völlig leerist. Es darf beimDampfbügeln keinDampf mehr aus derBügelsohle kommen.

Das Bügeleisen ist schneller aufgeheizt alsabgekühlt. Beginnen Sie darum mit denTextilien, die nur eine niedrige Temperaturvertragen, z.B. mit den Synthetics. Bügeln Siedanach mit höheren Temperaturen weiter.

• Bei Mischgeweben müssen Sie stets dieTemperatur für die Faser einstellen, welche dieniedrigste Temperatur verlangt. Ein Wäscheteilaus 60% Polyester und 40% Baumwolle z.B.muß ohne Dampf bei der Einstellung (•) fürPolyester ohne Dampf gebügelt werden.Wenn Sie nicht wissen, woraus das zubügelnde Teil besteht, so suchen Sie eineStelle, die bei normalem Gebrauch nichtsichtbar ist, und probieren Sie dort, welcheBügeltemperatur angemessen ist. Beginnen Sieimmer mit der niedrigsten Temperaturstufe, bisdas beste Resultat erreicht wird.

• Rein wollene Textilien (100% Wolle) können miteiner Dampfeinstellung gebügelt werden. Ambesten bügeln Sie mit Dampfstoß und

- Schalten Sie dasBügeleisen aus, indemSie den Ein-/Aus-schalter (C) auf Ostellen (Abb. 4).

- Schalten Sie denDampftank aus, indemSie den Ein-/Aus-schalter (B) auf Ostellen (Abb. 5).

- Ziehen Sie denStecker aus derSteckdose.

- Lockern Sie denSchraubdeckel mitHilfe des Schraub-schlüssels (L)vorsichtig durchDrehen gegen denUhrzeigersinn, bis Siehören, daß Restdampfentweicht (Abb. 6).Warten Sie, bis dasZischen völligaufgehört hat. DiesesGeräusch ist völlignormal und gefahrlos.

- Lockern Sie nun vorsichtig den Schraubdeckelweiter, bis Sie wieder ein zischendes Geräuschvernehmen. Machen Sie so weiter, bis keinZischen mehr zu vernehmen ist, und schraubenSie den Schraubdeckel ab.

- Warten Sie jetzt einige Minuten! Gießen Siedann langsam Wasser durch die Einfüll-öffnung (D) (Abb. 2).

- Schließen Sie den Dampftank durch Drehen imUhrzeigersinn mit dem Schraubdeckel, bis erdicht sitzt (Abb. 3).

Dampfbügeln

• Dem Temperaturregler (H) und der Tabelle istzu entnehmen, daß Dampfbügeln nur beihöheren Temperaturen möglich ist: Stellen Siealso den Temperaturregler (H) auf •• oder •••.

- Stecken Sie denNetzstecker in dieSteckdose.

- Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (B) desDampftanks aufPosition I. DieKontrollampe leuchtetauf (Abb. 7).

• Das Bügeleisen wird schneller heiß als derDampftank. Sie können das Bügeleisen darumeinige Minuten später einschalten als denDampftank.

- Stellen Sie denTemperaturregler (H)auf die gewünschteTemperatur (Abb. 8).

- Stellen Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter (C) desBügeleisens aufPosition I. DieKontrollampe imSchalter und dieKontrollampe (G)leuchten auf (Abb. 9).

- Nach einigen Minutenerlischt dieKontrollampe (G).Damit ist dieeingestellteBügeltemperaturerreicht.

- Danach erlischt dieKontrollampe (B), und der Dampftank istaufgeheizt. Sie können jetzt dampfbügeln.

- Halten Sie während des Dampfbügelns dieDrucktaste (F)gedrückt (Abb. 10).

• Während desDampfbügelns gehendie Kontrollampen (B)und (G) von Zeit zuZeit wieder an. Dannwird das Bügeleisenoder das Wasser imDampftank wieder aufdie eingestellteTemperatur aufgeheizt. Sie könnenwährenddessen weiterbügeln.

In senkrechter Haltung Aufdämpfen

Vorhänge oderKleidungsstücke(Jacken, Mäntel, Kleider)können hängend mitaufrecht gehaltenemBügeleisen aufgedämpftwerden (Abb. 11).

Trockenbügeln

• Drücken Sie die Drucktaste für dieDampfzufuhr (F) nicht, wenn Sie ohne Dampfbügeln wollen.

• Sie können dabei den Dampftank ausschalten,indem Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf O stellen.

Nach dem Bügeln

- Schalten Sie denDampftank und dasBügeleisen aus(Abb. 12 u. 13).

- Ziehen Sie denStecker aus derSteckdose.

- Stellen Sie dasBügeleisen auf dieAbstellfläche undlassen Sie esabkühlen.

• Sie brauchen dasrestliche Wasser nichtaus dem Dampftankzu entfernen.

Reinigung

- Ziehen Sie vor dem Reinigen den Netzsteckeraus der Steckdose und lassen Sie dasBügeleisen ausreichend abkühlen.

- Das Gerät kann mit einem feuchten Tuchabgewischt werden.

Aufbewahrung

• Auf beiden Seiten desDampftanks sind Griffezum Transport desGeräts angebracht(Abb. 14).

- Prüfen Sieregelmäßig, ob dasNetzkabel und dieVerbindungsschläuchein gutem Zustand sind.

Garantie

- Als het strijkvoorschrift ontbreekt maar u welweet welke soort textiel het betreft, zie dan detabel voor de aanbevolen strijktemperaturen.

- Als het controlelampje (G) eerst is uitgegaan endaarna weer is gaan branden, kunt u beginnenmet strijken.

• Sorteer het strijkgoed vooraf, rekening houdendmet de strijktemperatuur.Het strijkijzer warmt snel op, maar koeltlangzamer af. Daarom kunt u het bestebeginnen met de synthetische stoffen (kunststoffen), die op de laagste temperatuurgestreken moeten worden. Daarna strijkt u destoffen waarvoor u een wat hogerestrijktemperatuur nodig hebt, enzovoorts.

• Wanneer het textiel uit verschillendevezelsoorten bestaat, kies dan altijd detemperatuur die geldt voor de gevoeligste stofvan deze samenstelling. (Bijvoorbeeld: als eenstuk textiel bestaat uit "60% polyester en40% katoen", kies dan de temperatuur voorpolyester (1) en gebruik dan dus ook geenstoom.) Als u niet weet uit welke vezelsoorten het textielbestaat, zoek dan een plek op die niet zichtbaarzal zijn als u het artikel draagt of gebruikt enprobeer daar uit welke temperatuur geschikt is.(Begin dan bij een tamelijk lage temperatuur envoer de warmte op tot het gewenste resultaatwordt bereikt.)

• Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing en bekijkalle plaatjes goed voordat u het apparaatin gebruik neemt.

• Controleer of de aanduiding van hetvoltage (aan de onderzijde van destoomtank) overeenkomt met denetspanning in uw woning.

• Draai de dop van de stoomtank nooit losterwijl de stekker in het stopcontact is.

• Verwijder vóórdat u gaat strijken eeneventueel op de zoolplaat aangebrachtesticker of beschermfolie. Wrijf dezoolplaat even schoon met een zachtedoek.

• Sluit het apparaat alleen aan op eengeaard stopcontact.

• Gebruik het apparaat nooit als er ietsstuk aan is.

• Wikkel het aansluitsnoer en deverbindingsslang geheel af, voordat umet strijken begint.

• Wanneer u weg moet tijdens het strijken- zelfs als het maar voor eventjes is -haal dan de stekker uit het stopcontacten zet het strijkijzer op de houder.

• Zet het strijkijzer altijd op de houder. Zethet hete ijzer nooit op de stoomtank, hetaansluitsnoer of de verbindingsslang.Voorkom dat de zoolplaat, wanneer dezeheet is, het aansluitsnoer raakt.

• Vul de stoomtank met een beker metschenktuit om morsen te voorkomen.

• Doe geen azijn, ontkalkingsmiddelen ofandere chemicaliën in de stoomtank.

• Dompel het strijkijzer of de stoomtanknooit in water.

• Enkele onderdelen van het strijkijzer zijnlicht ingevet. Daardoor kan er wat rookvan het strijkijzer komen als u het voorde eerste keer gebruikt.Na korte tijd houdt dit (onschuldige)verschijnsel vanzelf op.

• Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet aan hethete strijkijzer kunnen komen, en dat zijniet aan de snoeren kunnen trekken.

• Zet de stoomtank altijd op een stabielestrijkplank of tafel.

Vullen met water (voor strijken metstoom)

- Zet destoomtankop eenstevigoppervlak endraai de dopvan devulopeninglos (linksom).

- Doe water in de stoomtank (max.0,9 liter) (fig. 2).

• U kunt gewoon kraanwater gebruiken. Het wordt echter aanbevolengedistilleerd water te gebruiken als hetwater erg hard is (waterhardheidboven 17 °DH).

• Gebruik nooit azijn, ontkalkingsmiddelof anderechemicaliën.

- Sluit destoomtankdoor de dedop met dehand vast tedraaien(rechtsom)(fig. 3).

Bij het begin van een strijkbeurt

- Vul de stoomtank voordat u destekker in het stopcontact steekt.

Tijdens een strijkbeurt

Pas op: de stoomtankstaat onder drukwanneer deze heet is.Vul de stoomtankalleen wanneer dezegeheel leeg is. Dit is hetgeval wanneer er tijdenshet stoomstrijken geenstoom meer wordtafgegeven.

- Schakel het strijkijzeruit door schakelaar (C)in stand O ("Uit") tezetten (fig. 4).

- Schakel de stoomtankuit door schakelaar (B)in stand O ("Uit") tezetten (fig. 5).

• Zuiver wollen stoffen (100% wol) kunt u persenmet stoom. Gebruik dan bij voorkeur"stoomstoot" en een droge perslap.Bij het strijken van wollen stoffen met stoomkunnen glimmende plekken ontstaan. Dit kunt uvoorkomen door het kledingstuk binnenste-buiten te keren en de binnenzijde te strijken.

• Fluweel en andere weefsels die snelglimplekken vertonen, strijkt u altijd in éénrichting (met de vleug mee) en zonder drukken.Zorg dat het strijkijzer steeds in beweging blijft.

• Synthetische stoffen en zijde strijkt u bijvoorkeur aan de binnenzijde om glimplekken tevoorkomen. Wanneer u gekleurde zijde strijkt,is het niet aan te raden stoom te gebruiken: ditkan vlekken veroorzaken.

- Neem de stekker uithet stopcontact.

- Draai met behulp vande ringsleutel (L) dedop van de stoomtankvoorzichtig wat los(linksom), totdat ustoom hoortontsnappen (fig. 6). Wacht totdat hetsissende geluid ophoudt.

- Het geluid is een normaal verschijnsel en nietgevaarlijk.

- Draai de dop voorzichtig wat verder los, totdat uopnieuw het sissende geluid hoort. Wacht dan weer tot het ophoudt. Ga zo doortotdat de dop los is.

- Wacht enkele minuten. Giet dan langzaamwater in de vulopening (D) (fig. 2).

- Sluit de stoomtank door de dop met de handvast te draaien (fig. 3).

Strijken met stoom

• Zoals u aan de temperatuurregelaar (H) en detabel kunt zien, is strijken met stoom alleenmogelijk bij hogere strijktemperaturen.Zet dus detemperatuurregelaarop 2 of 3

- Steek de stekker in hetstopcontact.

- Zet schakelaar"Stoomtank Aan/Uit"(B) in stand | ("Aan").Het controlelampje inde schakelaar gaatdan branden (fig. 7).

• Het strijkijzer warmtsneller op dan destoomtank: vandaardat u het strijkijzerenkele minuten laterkunt inschakelen.

- Stel de gewenstestrijktemperatuur inmet behulp van detemperatuurregelaar(H) (fig. 8).

- Zet schakelaar"Strijkijzer Aan/Uit" (C)in stand | ("Aan"). Hetcontrolelampje in deschakelaar gaat danbranden, evenals con-trolelampje (G) (fig. 9).

- Na een paar minuten gaat controlelampje (G)uit. Dit betekent, dat de zoolplaat de ingesteldetemperatuur heeft bereikt.

- Als controlelampje (B) uit gaat, betekent dit datde stoomtank is opgewarmd en dat de stoomklaar is. U kunt nubeginnen metstoomstrijken.

- Tijdens hetstoomstrijken houdt ude knop Stoomtoevoer(F) ingedrukt (fig. 10).

• Tijdens hetstoomstrijken gaan decontrolelampjes (B) en(G) nu en danbranden. Het strijkijzer of de stoomtank wordtdan weer op de juiste temperatuur gebracht. Ukunt intussen doorgaan met stoomstrijken.

Verticaal stomen

U kunt opgehangengordijnen en kleding(colberts, mantelpakjes,jassen) stomen, door hetstrijkijzer verticaal tehouden (fig. 11).

Droogstrijken

• Voor droogstrijken (= strijken zonder stoom)drukt u de knop voor stoomtoevoer (F) niet in.Desgewenst schakelt u de stoomtank uit doorschakelaar (B) in stand O ("Uit") te zetten.

Na het strijken

- Schakel de stoom-tank en het strijk-ijzer uit (fig. 12, 13).

- Neem de stekker uithet stopcontact.

- Zet het strijkijzer op dehouder en laat hetafkoelen.

• Het is niet nodig hetovergebleven water uitde stoomtank tegieten.

Schoonmaken

- Neem vóór het schoonmaken de stekker uit hetstopcontact en laat het strijkijzer voldoendeafkoelen.

- U kunt het apparaat schoonmaken met eenvochtige doek.

Opbergen

- Aan de zijkanten zijnhandgrepenaangebracht voor hetoptillen en verplaatsen(fig. 14).

Controleer regelmatig of het snoer en deverbindingsslang nog in goede en veilige conditiezijn.

Garantie en service

Dit produkt wordt door Philips gedurende één jaarna de datum van aankoop gegarandeerd tegengebreken als gevolg van materiaal- enfabricagefouten. De garantie omvat zowelonderdelen als arbeidsloon.

Reparatie wordt alleen onder garantie uitgevoerdindien overtuigend wordt aangetoond(bijvoorbeeld door middel van een ingevuldegarantiekaart of aankoopbon) dat de dag waaropde klacht is ingediend binnen de garantieperiodevalt.

De garantie vervalt indien het defect is ontstaandoor schade als gevolg van een ongeluk, onjuistgebruik, verwaarlozing, of indien er ingrepen aanzijn verricht of reparatie is uitgevoerd door daartoeniet bevoegde personen.

Service (tijdens en na de garantieperiode) kanworden verkregen in alle landen waar het produktofficieel door Philips wordt gedistribueerd.Ook in landen waar het produkt niet door Philipswordt gedistribueerd, zal de plaatselijke Philipsorganisatie service verlenen. Temperatura di stiratura

- Per prima cosa controllate se il capo da stirareè provvisto dell’apposita etichetta con leistruzioni per la stiratura ed attenetevi inogni caso ai consigli riportati.

- In mancanza delle istruzioni per la stiratura maconoscendo il tipo di tessuto, potete fareriferimento alle temperature consigliate nellatabella allegata.

- Potete iniziare a stirare quando la spia (G) sispegne per poi riaccendersi subito.

• Nel corso della stiratura, la spia può tornare adaccendersi di tanto in tanto: questo significache la piastra è stata riportata alla temperaturadesiderata e che quindi potete continuare astirare.

• La tabella è valida solo per le fibre tessili. Incaso di applicazioni (lustrini, crespature, parti inrilievo ecc.) vi consigliamo di utilizzaretemperature più basse.

• Dividete per prima cosa i capi da stirare in basealle diverse temperature di stiratura: lana conlana, cotone con cotone ecc.Il ferro impiega meno tempo a riscaldarsi che araffreddarsi e quindi vi consigliamo di iniziare astirare i capi che richiedono le temperature piùbasse, come i capi in fibra sintetica. Passatepoi progressivamente alle temperature più alte.

• Se il capo è composto da tessuti diversi,scegliete sempre la temperatura più bassa(es.: un capo composto per il 60% da poliesteree per il 40% da cotone, dovrà essere stirato allatemperatura indicata per il poliestere (•) e senzavapore).Se non conoscete la composizione del tessuto,

• Prima di usare l’apparecchio, leggetecon attenzione le istruzioni e osservatele figure.

• Prima di collegare l’apparecchio alla retedi alimentazione, controllate che latensione indicata sotto la caldaiacorrisponda a quella della rete locale.

• Non svitate mai il tappo della caldaiamentre l’apparecchio è collegato allarete di alimentazione.

• Prima di usare il ferro per la prima volta,togliete qualsiasi adesivo o cartaprotettiva dalla piastra e pulitelaaccuratamente con un panno morbido.

• Collegate il ferro soltanto ad una presaprovvista di messa a terra.

• Non usate l’apparecchio nel casorisultasse danneggiato in qualsiasimodo.

• Srotolate completamente il cavo dialimentazione e il tubo flessibile prima diiniziare a stirare.

• Togliete sempre la spina dalla presa eappoggiate il ferro sull’appositosupporto quando dovete allontanarvianche solo per un attimo.

• Appoggiate sempre il ferro sull’appositosupporto. Non appoggiate mai il ferrocaldo sulla caldaia, sul tubo flessibile osul cavo di alimentazione. I cavi nondevono mai toccare la piastra quando ècalda.

• Riempite la caldaia utilizzando unrecipiente dotato di beccuccio perevitare di rovesciare l’acqua.

• Non riempite mai la caldaia con aceto,prodotti disincrostanti o altri agentichimici.

• Non immergete mai il ferro o la caldaia inacqua.

• Alcune parti del ferro sono statelubrificate e quindi il ferro potrebbeleggermente emettere un pò di fumoquando viene acceso per la prima volta.Il fenomeno scomparirà naturalmente nelgiro di poco tempo.

• Tenete i bambini lontani dal ferro caldo efate in modo che non possano tirare ilcavo di alimentazione o il tubo flessibile.

• Appoggiate sempre la caldaia sull’asseda stiro o su un tavolo ben saldi.

Riempimento con acqua (per lastiratura a vapore)

- Appoggiate la caldaia su una super-ficie stabile e svitate il tappo (D)utilizzando l’apposita chiave e girandoin sensoantiorario.

- Riempited’acqua lacaldaia(max. 0,9 l)(fig. 2).

• Potete usarenormaleacqua delrubinetto.Nel caso tuttavia l’acqua fosse troppodura (durezza superiore a 17°DH), viconsigliamo di usare acqua distillata.

• Non usate mai aceto, prodottidisincrostanti o agenti chimici.

- Chiudete lacaldaiariavvitandobene a manoil tappo insenso orario(fig. 3). Nonusate lachiave per-chè non ènecessarioed un serraggio troppo forzatopotrebbe creare delle difficoltànell’apertura.

Prima di iniziare a stirare

- Riempite la caldaia prima di inserire la spinanella presa di corrente.

Durante la stiratura

Attenzione: se riscaldata, la caldaia è sottopressione.Riempitela nuovamente solo quando è vuota (es.quando non esce più vapore durante la stiratura).

effettuate una prova su un angolo nascosto delcapo per stabilire la giusta temperatura (iniziateda quella più bassa e aumentatelagradatamente fino a raggiungere quella chefornisce i risultati desiderati).

• I capi in pura lana 100% possono essere stiraticon il ferro in posizione vapore. Vi consigliamodi usare rapidi getti di vapore e un pannoasciutto.Stirando a vapore i capi in lana, il tessutopotrebbe risultare lucido: per evitare questoinconveniente, stirate il capo sul rovescio.

• Il velluto e gli altri tessuti che tendono adiventare lucidi rapidamente devono esserestirati in una sola direzione (nel senso del pelo),esercitando una leggerissima pressione.Non tenete mai fermo il ferro sullo stesso punto.

• Per evitare tracce di lucido, stirate al rovescio icapi in materiale sintetico e in seta. Nel caso diseta colorata, non usate il vapore per evitare diprovocare eventuali macchie.

- Spegnete il ferro met-tendo l’interruttore (C)in posizione O (fig. 4).

- Spegnete la caldaiamettendo l’interruttore(D) in posizione O(fig. 5).

- Togliete la spina dallapresa di corrente.

- Svitate con cautela iltappo in sensoantiorario, utilizzandol’apposita chiave fino aquando inizierà afuoriuscire il vapore(fig. 6).Aspettate che cessi ilfischio del vapore.Questo rumore èassolutamente normale e non è pericoloso.

- Svitate ulteriormente il tappo fino a quandosentirete di nuovo il fischio del vapore.Aspettate nuovamente che cessi il fischio.Procedete in questo modo fino a svitarecompletamente il tappo.

- Aspettate qualche minuto, poi versatelentamente l’acqua nell’apposita apertura (D)(fig. 2).

- Richiudete la caldaia avvitando il tappomanualmente (in senso orario) (fig. 3).

Stiratura a vapore

• Come indicato sulla manopola del termostato (H)e nella tabella, la stiratura a vapore è possibilesolo con le temperature più alte, quindiimpostate la temperatura 2 o 3.

- Inserite la spina nellapresa di corrente.

- Mettete l’interruttorecaldaia"Acceso/spento" (B) inposizione I.Si accenderà la spia(fig. 7).

• Il ferro si riscalda più

rapidamente rispetto alvapore, quindi poteteaccendere il ferroqualche minuto doporispetto alla caldaia.

- Selezionate latemperaturadesiderata mediante iltermostato (H) (fig. 8).

- Mettete l’interruttoredel ferro"Acceso/spento" (C) inposizione I. Siaccenderà la spiadell’interruttore comepure la spia (G)(fig. 9).

- Dopo pochi minuti, laspia (G) si spegnerà,per indicare che la piastra ha raggiunto latemperatura desiderata.

- Lo spegnimento della spia (B) sta ad indicareche la caldaia è in pressione e che il vapore èpronto. A questo punto potete iniziare a stirare.

- Durante la stiratura avapore, tenetepremuto il pulsanteattivatore di vapore (F)(fig. 10).

• Durante la stiratura ledue spie (B) e (G) siaccenderanno di tantoin tanto. Questosignifica che il ferro ola caldaia hanno raggiunto la temperaturadesiderata, quindi potete continuare a stirare.

Stiratura in posizione verticale

Con le tende e gli abitiappesi (giacche, abiti dadonna, cappotti) èpossibile usare il getto divapore tenendo il ferro inposizione verticale(fig. 11).

Stiratura a secco

• Per stirare senza vapore, non premete ilpulsante attivatore di vapore (F).

• Potete anche spegnere la caldaia mettendol’interruttore (B) in posizione O.

Al termine della stiratura

- Spegnete la caldaia eil ferro (fig. 12, 13).

- Togliete la spina dallapresa di corrente.

- Mettete il ferro sulsupporto e lasciateloraffreddare.

• Non è necessariotogliere dalla caldaial’acqua rimasta.

Pulizia

- Prima di pulire il ferro, togliete la spina dallapresa di corrente e aspettate che l’apparecchiosia freddo.

- Il ferro può essere pulito con un panno umido.

Come riporlo

- La caldaia è dotata didue impugnature perpermettere il trasportodell’apparecchio(fig. 14).

- Controllate periodicamente le condizioni delcavo di alimentazione e del tubo flessibile.

Descripción general (fig. 1)

Temperatura de planchado

- Comprueben siempre si la prenda que van aplanchar tiene alguna etiqueta coninstrucciones de planchado. Sigan esasinstrucciones en todos los casos.

- Si no hay tal etiqueta, pero conocen la clase detejido de que se trate, usen la tabla para ajustarlas temperaturas de planchado.

- Una vez que la luz piloto (G) se haya apagadoy vuelto a encender, podrán empezar aplanchar.

• Durante el planchado, la luz piloto seencenderá y apagará de vez en cuando.Durante esos instantes la suela se vacalentando a la temperatura ajustada. Puedenseguir planchando tranquilamente.

• La tabla sólo es válida para las fibras indicadasy no es aplicable a ninguno de los acabados,brillos, etc.Los tejidos a los que se les haya aplicado algúntipo de acabado (brillo, arrugas, relieve, etc.)pueden plancharse mejor en temperaturasinferiores.

• Seleccionen primero las telas de acuerdo conla temperatura de planchado: lana con lana,algodón con algodón, etc.La plancha se calienta con mayor rapidez quese enfría. Por eso conviene empezar aplanchar los artículos que necesiten latemperatura más baja, como son los fabricadoscon fibras sintéticas, para ir aumentandodespués.

• Si la tela consta de varias clases de fibras, seseleccionará siempre la mínima temperatura de

• Lean atentamente estas instruccionesobservando al mismo tiempo lasilustraciones, antes de usar el aparatopor primera vez.

• Comprueben que la tensión indicada enla placa de tipo (bajo el tanque de vapor)corresponde a la existente en su hogar.

• No desenrosquen nunca la tapa deldepósito de vapor estando conectado elaparato a la red.

• Antes de usar la plancha por primeravez, despeguen todos los adhesivos ypegatinas que lleve, incluida la láminaprotectora de la suela. Limpien ésta conun paño húmedo.

• Conecten el aparato únicamente a tomasde corriente provistas de toma de tierra.

• No empleen nunca el aparato si presentaalgún defecto.

• Desenrollen todo el cordón de red y lamanguera de alimentación antes deempezar a planchar.

• Desenchufen siempre la plancha ypónganla en su soporte cuando hayande ausentarse, aunque sólo sea por unmomento.

• Pongan siempre la plancha en el soportede hierro. No la coloquen, estandocaliente, sobre el depósito de vapor, lamanguera o el cordón. Este último nodeberá tocar en la suela cuando ésta seencuentre caliente.

• Llenen el depósito de vapor con unajarra provista de pico, para evitarsalpicaduras.

• No llenen el depósito con vinagre,agentes descalcificadores ni otrosproductos químicos similares.

• No sumerjan nunca la plancha ni eldepósito de vapor en agua.

• Algunas piezas de la plancha estánligeramente engrasadas y, comoconsecuencia, humearán un poco alcalentarla por primera vez, aunquedurará poco. No es nada peligroso.

• Procuren que los niños no puedan tocarla plancha estando caliente ni tirar delcordón de alimentación o de lamanguera.

• Pongan siempre el depósito de vapor enuna superficie plana (tabla de planchar omesa).

• Planchen los materiales sintéticos y laseda por el revés para evitar puntosbrillantes. No usen vapor, que podríaocasionar manchas.

Para llenarla de agua (para planchar alvapor)

- Pongan el depósito de vapor en unasuperficie plana y estable y desen-rosquen latapa deldepósito (D),haciéndolagirar aizquierdas.

- Llenen eldepósito conagua (máx.0,9 litros)(fig. 2).

• Pueden usaragua del grifo, pero si esta agua esmuy dura (más de 17 °DH), convieneque usen sólo agua destilada.

• No utilicen vinagre, agentesdescalcificantes ni otros productosquímicos.

- Cierren eldepósito delvaporhaciendogirar

manualmente la tapa aderechas hasta quequede bien apretada(fig. 3).

Si empiezan a planchar

- Llenen primero el depósito, antes de enchufarla clavija en la toma de corriente.

Mientras planchan

¡Cuidado!: Si se ha calentado, el depósito devapor estará sometido a presión.Rellénenlo únicamente si está vacío (es decir,cuando ya no salga vapor por la suela durante elplanchado).

planchado correspondiente a la composición deesas fibras. (Por ejemplo, un artículo formadopor un 60% de poliéster y un 40% de algodóndeberá plancharse con la temperatura indicadapara la primera de las fibras (.) y sin vapor.)Si ignoran la composición de las telas, busquenun lugar que resulte invisible al vestir la prenday prueben allí cuál es la temperatura másapropiada. (Empiecen con la más baja y subanhasta que dé mejores resultados.)

• Los tejidos hechos de lana pura (100% lana)pueden plancharse con la plancha en posiciónde vapor. Lo más conveniente es usar chorrode vapor y poner una tela seca intermedia.Al planchar telas de lana con vapor puedeaparecer brillo en ellas, lo cual puede evitarseplanchándolas por el revés.

• Los terciopelos y otras telas similares, queadquieren rápidamente puntos brillantes, debenplancharse en una sola dirección (con una telainterpuesta) y aplicándoles una presión muy

- Apaguen la planchallevando el interruptor(C) a la posición O(fig. 4).

- Apaguen el depósitollevando el interruptor(B) a la posición O(fig. 5).

- Saquen la clavija de latoma de corriente.

- Con la llave que seentrega con elaparato, desenros-quen poco a poco latapa del depósito devapor (a izquierdas)hasta que oigan quese escapa vapor(fig. 6).

Esperen a que cese elsilbido del escape.Este tono alto delescape es del todo normal y no peligroso.

- Desenrosquen con cuidado la tapa del depósitode vapor un poco más, hasta que vuelvan a oírel siseo del vapor.Esperen a que termine y sigan de este modohasta que la tapa quede completamentedesenroscada.

- Esperen unos minutos. Después, poco apoco, echen agua por la abertura de llenado (D)(fig. 2).

- Cierren el depósito de vapor haciendo girar latapa a derechas, con la mano, hasta que quedebien apretada (fig. 3).

Planchado con vapor

• Como se indica en el cuadrante de temperatura(H) y en la tabla, el planchado con vapor sólopuede hacerse en las más altas temperaturasde planchado, por lo que habrá que poner elcuadrante en 2 o 3.

- Enchufen la clavija enuna toma de corriente.

- Pongan el conmutadorparo/marcha deldepósito de vapor (B)en la posición I. La luzpiloto del interruptor seiluminará (fig. 7).

• La plancha se calientamás deprisa que eldepósito de vapor. Poreso, conviene queenciendan aquéllaunos minutos mástarde que éste.

- Elijan la temperaturade planchado másidónea con elcuadrante (H) (fig. 8).

- Lleven el interruptor“de la plancha” (C) a laposición I. La luz pilotode éste se iluminará lomismo que la (G)(fig. 9).

- Transcurridos unosminutos, la luz piloto(G) se extinguirá, loque indica que lasuela ha alcanzado la temperatura ajustada.

- Cuando la luz piloto (B) se apague, indicarácon ello que el depósito de vapor ya estácaliente y que el vapor se encuentra listo. Yapueden empezar a planchar.

- Mientras planchen convapor, mantenganapretado el activadorde vapor (F) (fig. 10).

• Durante el planchadocon vapor, las dosluces piloto (B) y (G)se iluminarán de vezen cuando. En esosmomentos, bien laplancha, bien eldepósito se están calentando a la temperaturafijada. Pueden seguir planchando sin más.

Planchado en posiciónvertical

Las cortinas y trajescolgados (chaquetas,faldas o abrigos) puedenplancharse manteniendola plancha en posiciónvertical (fig. 11).

Planchado en seco

• Para planchar en seco, no aprieten el activadorde vapor (F).

• Podrán desactivar el depósito de vaporllevando el interruptor (B) a la posición O.

Cuando terminen de planchar

- Apaguen el depósitode vapor y la plancha(figs. 12 y 13).

- Saquen la clavija de latoma de corriente.

- Pongan la plancha enel soporte y dejen quese enfríe.

• No hace falta quevacien el agua quequede en el depósitode vapor.

Limpieza

- Antes de limpiar laplancha,desenchúfenla de lared y dejen que seenfríe lo suficiente.

- Pueden limpiarla con un paño húmedo.

Almacenamiento

- Para su transporte haydos asas, una a cadalado del depósito devapor (fig. 14).

- Comprueben conregularidad si elcordón de red y lamanguera dealimentación están en buenas condiciones.
