Williams High School football team in Alexandria, Virginia in 1971. Most of the Titan players in the film are based on real people from the story. The film stars Denzel Washington as Boone and now Hollywood darling Ryan Gosling making his big screen slam-dunk. Remember the Titans also features a retro soundtrack, including legendary artists such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Hollies, Marvin Gaye, James Taylor, The Temptations, and Cat Stevens.
