REPLACE BLADES THAT ARE WORN OUT OR ARE IN BAD CONDITION *KEEP AT LEAST THREE TEETH IN CONTACT WITH THE METAL AT ALL TIMES *TOO MANY TEETH CAUSE VERY SLOW CUTTING. SELECT AS FEW TEETH AS YOU CAN AND KEEP 3 TEETH IN CONTACT *LESS THAN 3 TEETH CAUSE BLADE TO GRAB AND BEND OR BREAK 5roper use hacksaw /. +e sure safety glasses are worn. 0. 7elect a blade with enough teeth per inch so that two or three teeth are in contact with the etal at all ties. 2. 1asten the blade into the hacksaw frae with the teeth pointing away fro the handle of the saw. Make sure the blade is fastened securely so that it will not twist and break. 3. Mark the stock at the point at which it is to be cut. 8. 5lace the stock in the vise, with the ark about 9 inch fro the  4aws. 7awing close to the 4aws of the vice akes the sawing easier because the piece is held !rly and does not spring back and forth :. 5lace the saw on the ark and then pull it toward you using little pressure to start the kerf. ;. %pply slight pressure on the forward strokes of the hacksaw,
