A Szent István Római Katolikus Általános Iskola egy magyarországi kisváros
szívében, Pápán található. A 8 osztályos intézményben évfolyamonként 2
osztály jár, így tanulói létszámunk csaknem eléri a 400-at. Iskolánk falai közt
keresztény szellemű oktatás folyik.
Tanulóink zömében katolikusok, de
járnak hozzánk evangélikus és
református vallásúak is.

Magyarországon a karácsony –
Jézus születésének napja –a
keresztények egyik legnagyobb
ünnepe.
In Hungary Christmas, the birth of
Jesus Christ, is one of the greatest holiday of the Christians.
A karácsonyra való lelki
jelenti. Az adventi koszorún Karácsony közeledtével minden vasárnap eggyel
több gyertyát kell meggyújtani.
The period of spiritual preparation for Christmas starts on the fourth Sunday
before the feast begins, and continues until 24 December. This is Advent, which
also represents the beginning of the liturgical year as well. As Christmas
approaches every Sunday we light one more candle on the Advent wreath.
On Monday mornings after a public singing and piety we light the candles on the Advent wreath.
December elején szoktuk megrendezni adventi alkotónapunkat, melyen a
A bevételből hátrányos helyzetű tanulóink családját segítjük
az ünnep közeledtével.
At the beginning of December we organize the advent creating day where, with
the parents of the students, we make gifts which we vend in the advent market. From the income we support the families of the disadvantaged students.
A téli szünet előtti utolsó héten lelki napot tartunk, melyen közös énekléssel,
játékkal, vetélkedővel próbálunk ráhangolódni az ünnepre. A nagyobbaknak
általában egy plébános atya tart előadást a karácsony lényegéről, természetesen
a közös szentmisén való részvétel sem maradhat el.
During the he last week before winter break we hold the spiritual day with a
common singing, games, contests are trying to tune in to the feast. For the
bigger ones the parish priest speaks about the meaning of Christmas and, of
course, the common Mass attendance cannot be left out.
In the Advent period, students are involved in Rorate Mass (auroral mass or
mass of angel) followed by an agape (love-feast).
Minden évben rendezünk karácsonyi koncertet is, melyre tanulóink nagyon
sokat készülnek versekkel, énekekkel, hangszeres bemutatókkal. Természetesen
a pásztorjáték sem maradhat el.
Every year we organize a Christmas concert, in which a lot of our students
perform poems, songs, instrumental performances. Of course, the shepherd
game cannot be left out.
Karácsonyi műsorainkkal rendszeresen részt veszünk városunk Fő téri adventi
rendezvényein is.
With a Christmas performance we regularly participate in the Advent events
organized on the town's Main Square.
A few days before the holiday begins the winter break so that everyone can
spend the last days of the year with his/her family.
A magyar családokhoz december 24-én érkezik a Jézuska. Ő hozza a
karácsonyfát és az ajándékokat. A családok együtt költik el ünnepi vacsorájukat,
majd részt vesznek az éjféli misén. December 25-én és 26-án meglátogatják
rokonaikat, barátaikat.
To the Hungarian families the Baby Jesus arrives on 24 December. He brings
the Christmas tree and the presents. The families eat the festal dinner, and they
attend the midnight mass together. On 25 and 26 December, they visit their
relatives and friends.
karácsonyi gömböt kékfestő anyaggal vontuk be.
Our city has a long tradition of blue dying, therefore, the Christmas ball that we
sent to you is covered with blue dying cloth.
rejtelmeibe.
A Múzeum megtekintése során a látogatókat visszakalauzoljuk a múltba, felfedve eme csodás,
régi foglalkozás szépségeit és nehézségeit. A kékfestés munkafolyamatának minden állomását
Kékfestő museum was opened for the big audience in August, 1962, and it exhibits the
workshop and equipment of the former Kluge company, and gives insight into the ruses of the
craft of ‘kékfestés’.
During visiting the museum we guide our guests back to the past revealing the beauties and
difficulties of this wonderful and old craft. We exhibit all the steps of the work processes and
the still operating equipment of ‘kékfestés’ in the old manufacturing building being more than
200 years old.
