MESSAGE FROM THE FINA PRESIDENT

欢迎所有运动员及国际泳联各位成员前来参加第六届国际泳联世界跳水系列赛。为了更好的在世界范

围内增强和推广我们的跳水明星的影响，今年三、四月份举行的世界系列赛包含四站比赛：从第一次

举办比赛的阿联酋迪拜开始，再到中国北京、俄罗斯莫斯科，最后在墨西哥蒂华纳结束。

从2007年第一届世界系列赛开始，国际泳联最杰出的跳水运动员继续在国际舞台上得到更多的展示

机会，这也归功于各站组委会专业的组织工作、各站比赛的电视转播（包括国际泳联官方网站的视频

直播）、以及为顶级运动员提供的丰厚奖金。运动员们优美的跳水形象越来越多的通过电视荧屏传播

到世界各地，吸引了更多的组织者来办赛以及更多的运动员来参赛。相信在2013年还会延续这样的

良好的趋势。

不久即将举行的2013年世界杯跳水赛暨伦敦奥运会跳水测试赛，跳水明星们将通过在世界跳水系列

赛中的表现，显示出他们在这项高难运动中所占据的世界地位。

在各会员协会及运动员们的大力支持下，在各系列赛主办方的辛勤努力下，我坚信2013年的系列赛

必将成为跳水大家庭的又一座里程碑。在成功建立这一战略的过程中，观众、媒体以及赞助商们也是

It is my pleasure to welcome all athletes and FINA National Member Federations to the seventh edition of the FINA/MIDEA Diving World Series. This year’s competition (from March to May) comprises two main novelties: the raise to six meets and the duration of each leg – three days (instead of two in the past).

The FINA/MIDEA Diving World Series 2013 will kick off in Beijing (CHN) on March 15 and will conclude in Mexico City (MEX) on May 26. Other events of the series include Dubai (UAE), Edinburgh (GBR), Moscow (RUS) and Guadalajara (MEX).After the launch of the World Series in 2007, the international exposure of the best FINA athletes was improved with a more professional organisation of each leg, TV production in each meet (including video streaming on the FINA website) and increased Prize Money for the top-level competitors. More beautiful images of diving circulated through the TV screens worldwide, thus creating an enormous motivation for the organisation and participation at the FINA/MIDEA Diving World Series. This successful trend will also be a reality in 2013.This year, the circuit will naturally be an excellent appetizer for the main rendezvous of the season, the 15th FINA World Championships, to be held in Barcelona (ESP) from July 19 to August 4. Fresh from their performances in the World Series, our best divers will once more impress spectators and TV viewers in the Catalan capital.With the active support of our National Federations and respective athletes and the professionalism of the Organisers of this World Series, I am sure that this 2013 edition will once more constitute a milestone in the history of this spectacular discipline. Spectators, media and sponsors are also our privileged partners in this successful strategy. In this occasion, I would like to express my gratitude to all of them.

The 2013 FINA/Midea Diving World Series is about to begin worldwide. On behalf of the title sponsor Midea, I warmly welcome all the athletes, coaches, officials, guests, spectators and FINA representatives from China and from around the world.

Diving is the sport that perfectly unifies the competitive spirit and viewing pleasure. Athletes dive gracefully into the pool, as if a flying bird in the sky or an agile fish in the glimmering lake, showing great union of power and beauty, spirit and flesh. RULES AND REGULATIONS

PARTICIPATION

国际泳联根据2012年伦敦奥运会跳水比赛成绩直接邀请各单人

项目前八名参赛（若前八名中不含主办协会运动员，则主办协

会可从前12名中选派1人参加比赛本站比赛）；以及双人项目

前六名队伍参赛（若前6名中不含主办协会运动员，则主办协会

可派1队参加比赛本站比赛）。该赛事使用“直接邀请”原则。

如果参加单人项目比赛的运动员少于8人，则根据上一年的世界

大赛（世界游泳锦标赛、跳水世界杯或奥运会）或者前一站系

列赛中的该项目的双人比赛名次，该项目的双人比赛中的运动

员有机会递补进单人比赛项目中。

各主办协会若未能在某项目中获得参赛名额，则可利用外卡来

派一名运动员参加单人或一队参加双人项目的比赛，所有费用

自付。国际泳联也可以增加外卡运动员。

Participation: For individual events, 8 divers representing

national federations will receive direct invitations from FINA to

participate in each discipline of the DWS, based on their ranking

in the London 2012 Olympic Games FINA-specified DWS

qualifying event, (drawn from the top 12 results) plus 1 diver

from the HMF (if not qualified in the top-8).

For synchro events, 6 teams representing national federations

will receive direct invitations from FINA to participate in each

discipline, based on their ranking in the London 2012 Olympic

Games, plus 1 team from the HMF (if not qualified in the top-6).

The rule of

“direct invitations” apply.

If participation of divers is lower than 8 in the individual events,

then the entered synchronised divers of the same event

will be offered the opportunity to dive in the individual event

subject to placing in the preceding major event (FINA World

Championships, FINA World Cup or Olympic Games) or the

previous leg of the FINA Diving World Series.

Host Federations, at their own expense, may enter ONE diver/

team under the wild card system at each leg of the FINA Diving

World Series if they do not have a qualified diver/team in the

event. FINA may also award wild cards.

单人比赛项目

INDIVIDUAL COMPETITION

单人比赛项目包括男女3米板和10米台，淘汰赛中进行两场半决

赛（每场4或5人参加），每场半决赛的前3名进入决赛。

单人比赛项目采用淘汰赛制，无难度系数限制（男子6个动作、

女子5个动作）。淘汰赛制具体如下：

每年第一场分站赛半决赛的比赛顺序按照国际泳联指定的跳水

系列赛资格赛成绩确定，其中第8、6、4、2在A组，并按照此

顺序进行半决赛和决赛的比赛，第7、5、3、1在B组且按相同

顺序进行比赛。如有额外运动员参赛，则根据抽签结果在A组或

B组第一个出场比赛。决赛出场顺序按照A、B组半决赛汇总后

成绩的名次进行倒排序。每年的第一站比赛结束后，运动员将

根据其在前一站比赛中的排名重新排序进行比赛。

在每场比赛中，运动员均进行无难度系数限制的动作比赛（男

子6轮、女子5轮）。

Individual Competitions: The individual competitions comprise

3m Springboard and 10m Platform for both men and women,

and will be held as a tournament in each event with 2 Semi-

finals of 4 or 5 divers each and a Final with the three (3) best

divers from each semi-final.

The tournament system is the format for the individual

competition, based only on dives with an unlimited degree

of difficulty (6 dives for men and 5 dives for women). The

tournament is organised as follows:

For the first Event each year, the divers will be seeded in the

semi-finals according to their ranking in the FINA-specified DWS

qualifying event, with the divers ranked 8, 6, 4 and 2 in Semi-

final “A”, starting in that order in the semi-finals as well as in

the finals, and the divers ranked 7, 5, 3 and 1 in Semi-final “B”,

starting in the same order. Additional divers, when required,

start as number one in Semi-final “A” or “B”, decided by drawing

of lots. After the first Event each year, the divers will be re-

seeded according to their ranking in the preceding Event.

Following semi final A and B the placing (scores) will rank the

Final start list with the highest scoring diver, ranked in sixth

position.

In all sessions, the divers perform only dives with unlimited

degree of difficulty, 6 for men and 5 for women.

双人比赛项目

SYNCHRONISED COMPETITION

包括男女3米板和10米台，每年第一站的比赛顺序根据国际泳

联指定的跳水系列赛资格赛名次的倒排序进行直接决赛；之后

的各站比赛按照前一站比赛名次的倒排序进行直接决赛。如有

额外队伍参赛，则作为第一个开始比赛的队伍参赛。决赛按照

国际泳联规则D3.1和D3.2条规定进行，男子6轮动作、女子5轮

动作。参加双人比赛的同一个协会的运动员在各站比赛中可换

人。

Synchronised Competition: The synchronised diving

competitions comprise 3m Springboard and 10m Platform for

both men and women and will be held as direct finals with the

teams seeded and starting in the reverse order of their ranking

in the FINA-specified DWS qualifying event at the first Event

each year. Following in each subsequent Event, the teams

will dive in reverse order of finish in the preceding Event. An

additional team, when required, starts as number one. The finals

comprise 6 dives for men and 5 dives for women in accordance

with FINA Rule D3.1 and D3.2.

The divers competing in a team may be changed from leg to leg.
