CROMO HELMETS Kep Italia helmets comply with the high safety requirements of the following standards:

1. CE EN 1384:2012 (European Standard): This standard is recognized by most of the Countries all over the world. Most of the certified helmets have passed this Standard as it is the most requested, except for American and Canadian markets where it is compulsory to ride with the helmets covered by the ASTM F1163. Manufacturers need to have the products certificated SEI.

2. SEI Certification Certified Mode ASTM F1163.04ª (American/Canadian Standard)

Obtained by several controls and tests after several inspections done by SEI inspectors. This Certification is applied to each product and it is a Product Certification.

3. BS EN 1384:2012 KITEMARK Certification British Standard compulsory for helmets to be used for Ponies Competitions and also suggested for Races. 4. PAS 015:2012 Certification

The KEP ITALIA helmet is safer than other riding helmets because it is designed to provide you with optimum protection. 1) MOULDING SYSTEM The protective system is based on the principle that the outer shell is moulded with the polystyrene foam inner shell resulting in better absorbing the energy from the impacts and protecting your head from injury as far as possible. 2) DESIGN OF THE HELMET Rear part of the helmet drops down the head to enhance your personal safety. 3) CHIN-STRAP With a strong nylon band encased in vegetable-tanned leather, the chin- strap is both secure and smooth to your skin. The leather is Italian, entirely toxin-free and easily washable. 4) LINING The fitted inner lining of the KEP ITALIA helmet is made from Coolmax®, an active fabric that quickly conducts moisture away. The inner lining can be easily removed and hand washed at up to 30°C. 5) VENTILATION The KEP ITALIA helmet comes with a unique ventilation system. Air is drawn in through air intakes in the front grille. Air canals cut into the helmet’s inner liner conduct warm air away from your head and out through the ventilation aperture in the back of the helmet. 6) WARRANTY All KEP ITALIA helmets are covered by a two-years manufacturer’s warranty. 7) APPLICATIONS Show jumping, dressage, endurance riding, eventing, pony, trekking, western or recreation riding.
