Australian designer Ivan Woods desired to create a table that could embrace endless possibilities and work as a companion piece for various lounge settings. Inspired by the timeless Tango dancing style where the dancer’s movements are intimate and dynamic. Tango table similarly embraces the users desires, enabling multiple formations allowing for potential expression,improvisation and connection.

Light and elegant, Tango’s angled leg frame and slender tops define its airy aesthetic and sense of movement.As two people effortlessly become onein rhythmic movement across the dance floor, the same applies to the Tango table when paired into its various configurations.

TangoIntroduction

A spontaneous table that is multipurpose, whether it’s used for a home, office, café or retail space. Tango’s geometric aesthetic provides an elegant appearance that can be nested together to create layers and impart visual rhythm to the environment it resides.

Tango’s lightweight and compact size makes it easy to move around. Available in two top sizes and two heights, Tango can operate as single units or pushed together to form larger surfaces.

These useful little tables are available with a veneer, leather or a powder coated top and are complimented with powder coated legs. By unifying the colour of the base and top or choosing contrasting finishes, a stand alone table can have a refined appearance, or a gathering of nested tables creates an interesting composition.

Proudly made in Australia, Tango features a slender 5 mm thin aluminium top coupled with a 8 mm wire base that uses minimal material while retaining strength. Well suited for social events, assemble a colourful mix and deck them out on your poolside or the porch.

Table Legs The legs of the Tango are made from an 8 mm wire frame finished in a selection of vibrant metal powder coats from the ColourLab range. Designed for contemporary commercial and living environments, the ColourLab Palette was developed by Giulio Ridolfo.
