Zusammenfassung:• Einmalig stark ausgeprägte Oligotrophierung in Reaktion auf eine

selten abrupte und drastische Reduktion der externen P-Zufuhr -bei und hinreichendem Austausch mit P-armem Wasser :Tegeler See 5-mal pro Jahr; Schlachtensees 1,5-mal pro Jahr

Tegeler See zu TP

• wesentliche verbleibende P-Quelle ist P-reiches Havelwasser. Wichtigstes Bewirtschaftungsziel: Zustrom durch Mindestzufluss OWA-Wasser bremsen: OWA-Abfluss im Jahresmittel nicht <2,5 m³ pro Sekunde, ggf. mehr im Sommer, weniger im Winter;

• Sediment ist im Jahresmittel meist P-Falle, aber weiterhin relevante kurzzeitige saisonale P-Quelle, vorwiegend Mineralisation kürzlich sedimentierten organischen Materials: � rasche Reaktion auf Reduktion der externen P-Fracht. Mineralisation >> redox-sensitiven Desorption; dennoch kann Adsorption durch Eisen als bevorzugtes Fällmittel gefördert werden;

• Stürme im Frühjahr � mehr P im See !

Zusammenfassung:Schlachtensee zu TP

• Redox-sensitive P-Desorption ist wichtigste verbleibende P-Quelle, Hypolimnion hat aber wegen stabiler Schichtung weniger Einfluss als am Tegeler See

• 1,5 – 3-fache Erhöhung der Durchströmung mit P-armem Wasser würde TPim See von derzeit 20-25 µg L-1 auf 12-15 µg L-1

reduzieren – damit kaum über den ~8 µg L-1 im OWA-Ablauf

Beide Seen: interne Maßnahmen absolut nachrangig gegenüber

„Spülen mit P-armem Wasser“ !

Zusammenfassung:Phytoplankton-Reakltion:

• Ist gut aus TP-Konzentrationen prognostizierbar – Vollenweider-Regression gilt!

• Bei < 25-30 µg/L TP kaum noch Cyanobakterien

• Nicht-lineare Reaktionen sind häufig – Schwellenwerte jedoch selten

• „Phytoplankton-Gedächtnis“ kann Reaktionen verzögern!

• Schwellenreaktion von Schlachtensee und Tegeler See durch „Umschalten“ von Limitation durch Licht auf P !

Kaskadenartiger Oligotrophierungsprozess in beiden Seen: TP als entscheidener Faktor !

Bei Sanierungen den nötigen Zeithorizont beachten und kommunizieren!
