New Delhi Dec 7 Indias offshyspinner Ravichandran Ashwin today equalled some of the

greats of the game including batting legend Sachin Tendulkar

Ashwin took another 5shywicket haul on Monday (December 7) at the Feroz Shah Kotla as

India routed South Africa by 337 runs in the 4th Test The hosts won the 4shymatch series

McGrath Virender Sehwag and others This was Ashwins 12th series Tendulkar played

in 74 series and Sehwag featured in 39

For India Ashwin Tendulkar and Sehwag are on top now followed by Harbhajan Singh

Anil Kumble and Rahul Dravid (4 awards each) Mohammad Azharuddin Zaheer Khan

and Sourav Ganguly won 3 Playershyofshytheshyseries awards apiece

Ashwin has matched that in just 31 Tests so far This is a huge achievement for the tall
