The Noble Knight
News Noble School provides a safe and caring environment where everyone enjoys and celebrates childhood and respects diverse values, talents and
ethnicity. We promote a variety of experiences that nurture social, emotional, intellectual and academic growth which contributes to the development of
independent, cooperative and responsible citizens with high self-esteem and a life long zest for learning.
From the desk of Mrs. Ortiz:
Happy Fall/ Halloween/Best season Noble
Families. Do you want to know why Fall is a great
time of the year? It’s because we have settled into
our classrooms, our teachers are really showing off
their creativity, and kids are really diving into
learning. This time of year is when crisp fresh air
inspires new ideas and new curiosities. It’s a great
time to begin discovering new, indoor places to
explore. It’s a great time to visit the library and find
that new adventure to read about.
I want to thank all the families that came to our
annual Back to School Night. It really shows your
student’s that you care about what is going on in
their classrooms. Please keep that communication
and contact open with your classroom teachers as
the year progresses. It is one of the more effective
ways to set your children up for success.
~Mrs. Ortiz

Appointments During School
In an effort to not have delays and interruptions to
the teachers break, we are asking for you to pick
your child up for appointments before or after
recess or lunch break. Please see bell schedule in
the front office or on our website for break times.
Thank you for your cooperation. Day Care at Noble
Day Care Noble has two child care programs available for Noble students from kindergarten through fifth grade. SJBDC offers before and after school. Please contact the San Juan Bautista Day Care at 259-8952 for additional information. The R.O.C.K. program only offers after school daycare for late bird kinders and 1
st – 5
th grade. Please contact the City of
San Jose Dept. of Parks and Recreation at 251-6392 or pick up a flyer in the office.
Parents please make sure you arrange with your
kiddos any pick up arrangements BEFORE you
drop them off each day. We get a high call volume
of phone calls asking us to let students know what
to do after school. Calling classrooms interrupts
instructional time. We really appreciate your help
with this matter.
Traffic Reminders
We continue to ask for everyone’s support and cooperation
in following our traffic procedures. Follow the traffic flow
and avoid left turns out of the driveways if possible. Wait
to drop off and pick up students until your car is at a cone
with a safety patrol students to assist. Students will exit the
car only on the right side. If you are walking, please model
safety to your child by using the crosswalk, and please do
not jay-walk. Do not park in red zones, or drive onto
campus near the Kindergarten playground. Thank you for
your understanding and help!
