Multi-vendor GSM-R integration results

Huawei BSS system was successfully integrated to

TCDD’s GSM-R Core Network. The final test report was issued 30th April 2013 and

ratified in May 2013 Press Release : “The completion of the multivendor GSM-R

integration is an important project milestone for the

Eskisehir-Alayunt-Kutahya-Balikesir (EKB) European Rail

Traffic Management System (ERTMS) Line. … Stringent GSM-

R specifications and equipment guidelines enable railways

globally to setup multivendor systems such as the one now

fully integrated for the EKB High Speed line with a total

length of 464 km.“With the integration completed TCDD takes benefits of an open, feature-rich and competitive GSM-R multivendor market.
