Overview of Job Description

• Function in the primary role of paramedic on a MICU • Minor station upkeep duties • Daily inspection of all apparatus and equipment • Maintain appropriate inventories and documentation of daily duties • Adhere to various PA DoH and NFPA standards • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience and Training

• Paramedic: Current certification as a PA DOH Paramedic or higher • 3 years of EMS experience in progressive agencies • High school diploma or GED • National Incident Management System (NIMS) 100, 200, 700, 800, or be willing to

obtain • Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable 5-year driving record • Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certification • Hazardous Materials Operation Level training with yearly update • Other certifications will be looked upon favorably
