Returning for its spectacular sixth edition, the HKTDC Hong Kong

International Diamond, Gem & Pearl Show will once again be staged at AsiaWorld-Expo

from 26 February – 2 March 2019. A stunning showcase for diamonds, gemstones, pearls and

raw materials of the jewellery trade, this unparalleled industry event attracts top buyers and

representatives from luxury sectors across the world. Generating incomparable industry exposure for exhibitors,

the Show will be held concurrently with the 36th HKTDC Hong Kong International Jewellery Show (28 February – 4

March 2019) to form the world’s largest jewellery marketplace. The 2018 events combined to attract some 87,000 buyers from 145 countries and regions as they sourced from over 4,550 leading exhibitors.

日至3月2日再次在亞洲國際博覽館舉行，展示各

鑽石、寶石、珍珠和原材料，吸引全球各地的頂尖

買家與代表聚首一堂。展覽將與2月28日至3月4日舉行

的第36屆香港貿發局香港國際珠寶展為展商創造最大的曝

光量，打造全球最大的珠寶商貿平台。2018年的展覽吸引共

145個國家約87,000名買家蒞臨參觀，與逾4,550家參展商洽商

會面。

S parkling Efficiency and OrganisationTo create maximum exposure for exhibitors, the Show’s spectacular diamonds, gemstones, pearls and raw materials are organised by themed zones to attract industry traders with a convenient sourcing experience.

F acets of the IndustryWith a range of expert-led seminars, forums and trend talks, the Show is a perfect opportunity for exhibitors to stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments. With easy accessibility by courtesy shuttle bus, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) will also host glamourous parades of finished masterpieces, unveil winning collections from the “20th Hong Kong Jewellery Design Competition” as well as “International Jewellery Design Excellence (IJDE) Award 2019” and provide a slice of prestige with the gala evening Networking Reception.

We have been in the gemstone business for over 30 years with our ruby and sapphire mines in Mogok of Myanmar. The Hong Kong fair is a magnificent trade event to grow our business. On the first day of exhibition this year, we’ve already got in touch three serious buyers wishing to buy rubies and sapphires worth over US$2 million. A Middle East buyer is interested in a 6.5-carat ruby ring and a Taiwanese buyer is looking to purchase a 21-carat sapphire. Talks are also underway with a Swiss buyer for a pair of oval-shaped sapphire earrings. I feel very positive about the results.

本公司經營寶石生意已經30多年，在緬甸的莫谷地區擁有出產

紅寶石和藍寶石的礦場。香港國際鑽石、寶石及珍珠展是我們

擴充業務的重要貿易平台。在今年展會首天，我們已經接觸到

三位買家，他們有意採購總值逾200萬美元的紅寶石和藍寶石。

其中一位中東買家對一枚6.5克拉的紅寶石戒指很感興趣，一位

台灣買家則洽購一顆21克拉的藍寶石，另外有位瑞士買家正與

我們進一步磋商，洽購一對橢圓形的藍寶石耳環。我對展出成

績感到相當滿意。

緬甸SP Gems Company Limited緬甸寶石專家楊善良

北村真珠早於1901年便已成立，擁有日本最大的珍珠養殖場。

到目前為止，我們已經成功賣出總值約3,000萬至4,000萬日元

的珍珠，為展示產品的80%，買家主要是來自中國內地、歐洲

和美國的客人。大部分珍珠都被中國內地客人搶購了，他們對

優質產品特別感興趣。這次展覽非常成功，真高興看到這麼多

買家都欣賞我們的珍珠。我們必定會再來參展。

Founded in 1901, Kitamura Pearl owns the largest pearl farm in Japan. So far, we've sold about 30-40 million yen worth of pearls to buyers from the Chinese mainland, Europe and USA, accounting for 80% of the stock on offer. The majority of pearls were bought by Chinese customers who are especially interested in top quality items. The exhibition has been very successful. We are pleased that so many buyers love our pearls. We will definitely exhibit here again.
