MementoMemento is a ps ychological thriller based on a man suffering from anterograde amnesia, who uses notes, pictures and tattoos to huntf or the man he thinks killed his wife. Memento (opening)
The beginning of memento begins at the end of the film. Bef ore any action play s on the screen,the titles are shown on a close-up of a manhand holding a picture which show another man shot in the head and their blood splashedon the walls. There is also slow non-diegeticmusic play ing in the background which helps the audience to settle down and y et creates
anxiety f or the rest of the film and m y ster y .
During the opening scene of memento there are a lot of close-ups used f or example the picture,Bullet, glassed and blood. This was used toallow the audience see the type of characters that are in the film and gives an insight of the stor y line.
