Rise of the Bad DronesThere is hardly any other technology currently developing as fast as drone technology. However, the in-
crease in drone efficiency also means more opportunities to misuse them for criminal purposes. When your
airspace is exposed, no longer are fences, video cameras, and security guards adequate to protect sensitive
buildings or persons.

Fully Automatic Counterdrone SolutionDroneTracker is a unique system designed to detect
civilian drones. It‘s optimized, multi-sensor hardware can
be mounted to facades, windows and special carriers in
order to identify approaching drones by means of visual,
acoustic, and frequency sensors. Noise, movement
pattern, silhouette, and RF and Wi-Fi signals are pro-
cessed and evaluated with the intelligent DroneTracker
software. DroneTracker’s correlation and analysis of
this information reliably identifies approaching drones,
and triggers alarms to alert security staff. Third-party
sensors, such as surveillance cameras and radar, as well as
jammers or other countermeasures, can be integrated.

Safe Detection with Optimized Sensors
RF Sensor
The RF Sensor scans a wide frequency band for
radio frequencies, classifies and decodes them.
Drones that send signals in real time to a ground
station – from video cameras, for example – are
identified this way. The decoded data is recorded
and available on the user interface.
VideoOptical sensor (daylight)
1080p HD CAM
Each DroneTracker is equipped with a daylight camera.
We use enhanced image analysis functions to analyze
the live video feed.
Near Infrared Optical sensor (night)
1080p HD CAM
DroneTracker can be equipped with an infrared camera.
The data is interpreted by means of enhanced image
analysis methods.
Audio / Ultrasonic Acoustical sensors
Spectrum 0 - 96 kHz
Civilian UAVs have typical acoustic characteristics
that we recognize for their reliable detection.
Wi-Fi Sensor
Omnidirectional scanning
2.4 GHz ISM
An integrated Wi-Fi sensor detects the WLAN signals
of drones. It also permits identification of certain
drone models and even single devices.

DroneDNA Detects that Virus in the Sky
DroneTracker uses sensor-specific drone patterns and
signatures, the DroneDNA, by which different drone
models can be identified. This DroneDNA database
is constantly updated similar to how a virus scanner
would be, and every DroneTracker undergoes regular
software updates.

Trigger Countermeasures Benefits
Non-invasive measures
• Lead people to safety
• Block view
• Lock (cell) doors and gates
• Search site for dropped objects
• Search for pilot
Third-party solutions
• Jammer
• Fog bomb
• Locking system
• Shutters
• EMP
Depending on your individual security needs and legal preconditions, you can easily
integrate third-party countermeasures into the DroneTracker platform and trigger
them automatically via API.
Drone Jammer (Third-party)
A jammer transmits electromagnetic
waves which interfere with the radio signal
between the drone and its remote control
unit. If a drone is flying on automatic pilot,
the GPS signals required for navigation can
also be jammed.
The DroneTracker system manages your airspace
surveillance completely in one easy-to-use browser
interface. The software allows the configuration of
multiple sensors, active and passive countermea-
sures, and alerts. Special operators are not needed,
so your existing staff can manage your airspace
security with minimal resources.

A Real Threat From AboveLet’s face it: drones are now a part of everyday life. Their popularity has increased
in parallel with the recent great advances in their sophistication, power, affordabi-
lity and ease of access. The drones available today are no longer simply toys for kids
or hobbyists, but are increasingly being used for spying, drug smuggling, and indus-
trial espionage. To make matters worse, drones can easily be fitted with weapons
or explosives by anyone who wishes to physically harm rivals or governments.
New Safety RequirementsDrones are a true “threat from above” that present police authorities, governments
and the security industry with a new challenge. Fences, video cameras and security
guards no longer protect sensitive buildings or personnel adequately when your
airspace is exposed. Dedrone has developed a technical solution to close this se-
curity gap, the DroneTracker. DroneTracker effectively protects your airspace from
airborne threats.
Intelligent Sensing For Reliable DetectionThe size, speed and varying shape of drones make them extremely difficult to
identify using a single monitoring method. DroneTracker therefore utilizes an array
of sensors to identify air space intrusions in real time. This unique sensing system
enables DroneTracker to detect numerous threat parameters such as noise, shape,
movement patterns, and frequencies. The built-in camera saves images and videos
in HD quality, providing crucial evidence of the threat intrusion.
Dedrone Your Airspace
DroneTracker is the best protection for numerous applications:
• Government facilities
• Embassies
• Prisons
• Industrial facilities
• Data centers
• Nuclear power plants
• Test tracks
• Private properties
• Private events such as board
meetings and conferences
• Stadiums and public events
• Logistic centers
Spies
Spies equip drones with unpro-
tected Wi-Fi sniffing devices and
land them on your company. When
employees connect unconsciously
to these hot spot, the spies can
easily steal information.
Smugglers
Smugglers use drones to carry
drugs, weapons, mobile phones
and other contraband with drones
across borders, into prisons, or
into your neighborhood.
Paparazzi
Paparazzi use HD camera
drones in celebrities‘ private
spaces to “shoot down”
public figures.
DRONE DETECTION TECHNOLOGY WWW.DEDRONE.COM
Ease Of UseThe user-friendly web interface DT Control Center enables easy configuration of
any number of DroneTrackers or retrieval of data such as photos or videos. The
monitored airspace can be viewed in real time on a PC or tablet. When a threat is
detected, you will be notified via SMS, email, network message (TCP/IP), SNMP or
Pushover.net. The DroneTracker can also be integrated into home/business alarm
systems. For large area protection or perimeter protection, multiple Trackers can
be combined in series.
Extensive Drone DatabaseDroneTracker’s intelligent identification software classifies each detected
drone based on its unique characteristics. This signature, or DroneDNA, developed
by Dedrone, is maintained at our centrally managed database and offered to users
as regular updates.

Features
The DT RF Sensor is a passive, network-attached sensor for the detection of radio frequencies (RF) and Wi-Fi signals. It sup-
plements the DroneTracker System with another level of detection. The DT RF Sensor detects and decodes targeted radio
signals and sends the data, along with an alert, to the DroneTracker System.
