จะเนนเรองความสมครใจ และความปลอดภยของผเขารวมการวจย เนองจากงานวจยในยคนนอยในสถานการณสงคราม บคคลถกบงคบใหเขารวมการวจยไมสามารถขดขนได และเกดอนตรายตอผเขารวมการวจยท าใหพการ หรอเสยชวต

เพอความปลอดภยของผเขารวมวจย ควรท าการวจยกบสตวทดลองกอนด าเนนการวจยในคน ซงเปนรากฐานของกระบวนการวจยทางชวการแพทย โดยเฉพาะการวจยยาและเวชภณฑชนดใหม ตามเกณฑ - ICH GCP (International Conference on Harmonization of technical requirements for registration of pharmaceuticals for human use - guideline for Good Clinical Practice)

แตในฐานะนกวจย แพทยคนเดยวกนจะตองใหขอมล แลวใหผปวยทจะเขารวมการวจย เปนผตดสนใจเอง และจะตองชแจงใหชดเจนวาสวนใดคอการรกษาตามมาตรฐาน และสวนใดคอการวจย
