Elements of the past Peranakan culture are integrated into the contemporary design, such as the patterns of the oor tiles and the vivid, bright and colorful color scheme.
Authentic Nyonya cafe is a versatile venue that opens for art premiere every few months, promoting the new and promi-nent artists. Its tables can transform into partitions that can hold up the artworks on display.

Sustainable Furniture FactorySustainable Energy Systems
Located at 36, Tangore Land, the Furniture Factory building has four oor and a roof top. The factory has several functions: factory, work-shop, storage, showroom, oce and the factory’s workers’ dormitory which can house around 100 workers. The building is a green construction with sustainable materials and nishes and sustainable systems and installations. The rooftop is covered with greenery as it serves as a cafeteria for the factory as well as the facade of the building with the purpose of shading the interiors from the sunlight outdoor.
1. Building to last a lifetimeThe main idea of sustainable materials is to construct a home that lasts, which means lower maintenance costs and less up keep.
2. Conserve Energy and Save MoneyBy using sustainable materials for homes, we will be conserving energy and saving money in the long run. People can conserve energy on a large scale by using sustainable materials whose manu-facturing results in fewer waste products that ll the world’s land-lls.
3. Have a Healthy, Comfortable Sustainable HomeThe sustainability built green homes are healthier and more com-fortable because sustainable building materials emit few, if any, toxins such as carcinogens, VOC’s (Volatile Organic Compounds), and mold spores.
4. Minimize Waste Through SustainabilityA lot of sustainable building materials use reclaimed or recycled materials. The more people re-use products, the less people acquire new products and deplete world resources (and waste less energy manufacturing new materials).
