課餘託管服務

Application for Fee-waiving Subsidy Needy and eligible families can direct approach ASCP centres which provide and approve fee-waiving subsidies according to their financial situation.

Service Content ASCP is operated by non-governmental organisations (NGOs) on a self-financing and fee-charging basis.

ASCP centres provide services in various sessions in the morning, afternoon or evening from Monday to Friday.

To strengthen the support to those parents working on longer, irregular hours, or at weekends, some ASCP centres extend the service hours on weekday evenings, weekends and school holidays.

Services provided under ASCP include homework guidance, parental guidance and education, skill learning and other social activities.

under ASCP Under the Fee-waiving Subsidy Scheme, the Social Welfare Department provides full fee-waiving or half fee-reduction subsidies for needy low income families and recipients of Comprehensive Social Security Assistance who are engaged in open employment or receiving training to make use of ASCP, so as to strengthen their self-reliance.

Types of Fee-waiving Subsidy Families with monthly income at or below 55% of Median Monthly Domestic Household Income (MMDHI) will receive full fee-waiving.

Families with monthly income above 55% but not exceeding 75% of MMDHI will receive half fee-reduction.

Service Objective After school care programme (ASCP) aims at providing supportive services for children aged six to 12 whose parents are unable to render proper care for them during after-school hours owing to work or other reasons.

服務目的為6至12歲的兒童提供支援性質的服務，讓在課餘時間父母因事、工作或其他原因未能照顧的兒童，獲得適切的照顧。

服務內容 由非政府機構以「自負盈虧」及「收費模式」營辦。

託管中心會在平日（星期一至五）分不同節數，包括上、下午及黃昏時段，提供服務。

為支援工時較長、工時不固定、需在週末工作的家長，部份託管中心會於平日晚上、周末及學校假期延長服務時間。

服務內容包括功課輔導、家長輔導和教育、技能學習和其他社交活動等。

課餘託管收費減免計劃 社會福利署透過「課餘託管收費減免計劃」，為有需要的低收入家庭及正就業或接受培訓的綜合社會保障援助計劃受助人，提供豁免全費或減免半費資助，加強他們自力更生的能力。

收費減免種類豁免全費：低收入家庭（家庭收入相等於或低於每月本地家庭入息中位數的55%）

減免半費：低收入家庭（家庭收入高於每月本地家庭入息中位數的 55%，但並未超過75%）

申請辦法 有需要及合資格的申請人可直接向課餘託管服務中心申請，有關服務中心會根據申請人的家庭經濟狀況而決定批核減免與否。
