Dear Friends of UCOM, Many of our neighbors in need live with faith. Some have plugged into a faith commu- nity. Many have not. Some of our neighbors faith is in us and come to UCOM fragile and in need of compassion and people who care. What a wondrous and marvelous time during Lent to bolster our friends' faiths and encour- age them in their journey! If you celebrate Lent, think of what you have a choice to give up in honor of the season and your faith. Many of our friends don't feel a luxury of choice. At UCOM, we provide food and a helping hand. Daily meals, groceries, and scholarships to higher earning capacity. We work hard to accommodate all who come with special re- quests like no pork, gluten free, or heart healthy diets. It is what caring neighbors do for neighbors. Thank you for working with us to extend grace and dignity when someone is down. In an ever increasing polarized culture, I am proud that UCOM stays exempt. We work with all to serve all and make sure no one faces hunger or crisis alone. Everyone belongs to our Jacksonville Tribe of amazing! ps. This year, we have seen an incredible increase in numbers and therefore are in need of almost everything. Canned Vegetables, Pasta & sauce, soup, beans, rice, mac & cheese. Happy Lent! Dear Friends of UCOM,

Many of our neighbors in need live with faith. Some have plugged into a faith commu-

nity. Many have not. Some of our neighbors faith is in us and come to UCOM fragile and

in need of compassion and people who care.

What a wondrous and marvelous time during Lent to bolster our friends' faiths and encour-

age them in their journey! If you celebrate Lent, think of what you have a choice to give up

in honor of the season and your faith. Many of our friends don't feel a luxury of choice.

At UCOM, we provide food and a helping hand. Daily meals, groceries, and scholarships

to higher earning capacity. We work hard to accommodate all who come with special re-

quests like no pork, gluten free, or heart healthy diets. It is what caring neighbors do for

neighbors. Thank you for working with us to extend grace and dignity when someone is

down.

In an ever increasing polarized culture, I am proud that UCOM stays exempt. We work

with all to serve all and make sure no one faces hunger or crisis alone. Everyone belongs to

our Jacksonville Tribe of amazing!

ps. This year, we have seen an incredible increase in numbers and therefore are in need of

almost everything.

Canned Vegetables, Pasta & sauce, soup, beans, rice, mac & cheese.

Your help and compassion in action is appreciated and literally changes the lives of your

neighbors and our Jacksonville.

Thank you,

Sara Mitchell, Executive Director

Welcome to Faith United Methodist Church!

We are so glad that you have joined us this morning. For those new or returning to the church, welcome home. God calls us all to Himself, and it’s our conviction –we’re here to prove it — that spiritually, Christianity is most fully lived out in the congregation of God’s people. You figured out we’re not all together, but we’re working on this journey of faith and we are glad you have come along with us for the ride.
