What is our traditional grading period?

• We are on a six-week grading period.• Some grading periods are shorter (think first

semester)

Who’s Eligible the first six weeks?• Freshman are eligible if promoted from 8th

grade.• 5/10/15 rule• Or earn 5 credits the previous year.

Holiday Eligibility• All students are eligible during a school

holiday that last one week or longer.• During holidays of a shorter duration eligibility

is determined as if school were in session.

Advanced Classes and No-Pass No-Play

• Students in AP, Pre-AP, and Dual Credit courses may participate with a 65 three-week or six-week average or above in those courses.

Requirements to Regain Eligibility

• To regain eligibility students must pass all courses at the three- or six-weeks grade check. Not just the class they failed.
