Windsurfskole og udlejning af vandcykler, dykkercenter med skole og dykkerture på havet. UDFLUGTEREn storartet offentlig bus-båd service gør det muligt at opleve Venedigs charme og øerne i lagunen på egen hånd. Busstoppested ved indgangen til campingpladsen (husk at købe billet i Informationskontoret, inden du skal med bussen!) FOOD AND DRINKThere is a choice of eight restaurants with Italian and international cuisine. Five of them serve pizza, one is a rotisserie and one serves fried food. The Cantinetta Lispida with its excellent wine made in-house, the beach stands, the ice cream parlours, the cafés and the crêperie can offer you a wide range of specialities. The supermarkets and fruit and vegetable shops offer quality and a huge selection of goods.

SHOPPINGWe are the only campsite with two shopping centres. There are 25 stores offering clothes, accessories, national and international newspapers and magazines, tobacco products, toys, beach and camping goods, household supplies, camping gas, footwear, fragrances, herbal products, photos, jewellery, souvenirs, handicraft, health and beauty goods and much, much more.

FACILITIESAt the entrance: secretary’s office with lost property desk; cashier’s office with safety deposit boxes and mail distribution; cash dispenser. First Aid service with doctor available 24 hours a day for emergencies (please see the reception staff).Bicycle hire near the games room.In the pedestrian area: church with Catholic, Protestant and Anglican services; entertainment office; information office with bureau de change, sale of bus and boat tickets, telephones, fax and internet corner; unisex hairdresser.Near the tower: laundry and ironing room with bed linen and towel hire and ice-pack hire service; cash dispenser.In the park: Baby Club, crèche for children (from 18 months to 3 years old), Mini Club and Junior Club.

AQUA PARK LAGUNA (over 6,000 m²)Completely new to Europe – the first sandy pool in a campsite. A lagoon covering more than 1,000 m² with pure white sand, a grotto, a waterfall, water music, a jet stream route, a wild river, a water castle, hydro-massage beds, a silica sand solarium, palms and the “Barena” Bar.Approximate opening period from the middle of May to the middle of September, depending on the weather conditions. Entrance included in the price of your stay.

W10 LEISURE BUILDINGNew for 2010! In its 55th anniversary season, Union Lido Park&Resort presents a new health concept: the exclusive W10 Leisure Building.The multifunction building offers truly innovative services, such as an indoor counter-current swimming pool, a steam bath, hydro-massage tubs, a relaxation area, a children’s pool and centralized services. Open from 15 May 2010 until the end of September. Entrance not included in the price of your stay.

CAVANA: 500 m² multifunction room with bar and music hall, big screen and internet café.

GAMESAt the entrance to the campsite there is a room with entertainment facilities, video games and a modern mini-golf course.In the natural park, you can find a children’s playground and volleyball and badminton courts. Near the new Aqua Park Laguna there are inflatables that children will love.

FITNESS & SPORTA 4 hectare pinewood with sports apparatus and a keep fit course. Large, 6 hectare natural park for jogging and walking. Windsurfing school and pedalo hire. Scuba diving centre offering lessons and trips out to sea. Track for roller skating and other sports. Well equipped gymnasium. Swimming, aqua gym, aerobics and beach walking lessons. Near the campsite there is a sports centre with 9 tennis courts, a riding school, a regulation football pitch, a 5-a-side football pitch with an artificial surface, a football school for children, an archery range, a golf practice course with 3 holes, a mini-golf course and table tennis tables.

ENTERTAINMENTThe weekly programme features sporting and recreational activities, games and sports tournaments, films, and evening musical, variety and dance shows. Also on offer are the Mini and Junior Clubs, a Scout Camp and artistic activities including painting lessons and work on glass and ceramics.

EXCURSIONSThe convenient bus and boat services allow you to experience the charm of Venice and the islands in the lagoon. The bus stop is opposite the entrance to the campsite: get the tickets at the information office before boarding.There is also a broad selection of organized and guided excursions:Venice and the islands, Lake Garda, Opera in the Verona Arena, bike and boat trips in the surrounding area.Ask at our information office in the pedestrian area for information and reservations.

Camping + CaravanningUnion Lido Vacanze is a four star camp site covering a total of 600,000 square metres, with a modern and well maintained infrastructure. There are large, shady pitches for campers. All have an electricity supply, many have fresh and waste water connections, and some also have satellite TV sockets and Wi-Fi connections. There are also special pitches (with Ø 3” drain connections) for large motor homes.14 modern, well equipped toilet blocks are distributed all over the site and are within easy reach of all pitches. Most have special facilities for children and for the disabled, as well as washing machines, dryers and ironing surfaces. All blocks have hot water 24 hours a day, about 50% of which is produced by solar energy. The water pressure and supply is guaranteed at all times by a 450,000 litre reserve in the 50 metre high tower. Should the mains electricity supply fail, generators will come on automatically to restore power to the service and safety facilities.

Anita’s SchoolUnion Lido Vacanze and Amani Onlus have established an important project in Kenya, building Anita’s School, which provides a home for girls who used to live on the streets, allowing them to take advantage of educational and recreational services and offering welfare-health facilities in an area in which they are scarce.Many of the girls living in Anita’s House are in fact old enough to learn a trade, and Union Lido Vacanze together with Amani Onlus and the help of thousands of people have funded the setting-up of a vocational centre to provide IT and sewing courses, raising no less than € 68,300 between 2005 and 2007. With the 2008 and 2009 donations, the houses of the new and old wing have gradually been furnished; in particular, electrical appliances and furnishings have been purchased. Union Lido intends to help in 2010 too, by donating some of the profits of our Park & Resort: anyone who stays with us can thus be sure that they are contributing to this crucial initiative, which will help ensure hope for the future for dozens of children.

“Cuamm con Sara per l’Africa-Onlus” Union Lido supports the projects of Cuamm with Sara per l’Africa Onlus, which is part of the NGO Medici con l’Africa Cuamm, committed to ensuring the fundamental human right to health and to making the access to healthcare available to all.

Anitas SkoleUnion Lido Vacanze og Amani Onlus har gennemført et omfattende projekt i Kenya og etableret Anitas skole for gadebørn, som tilbyder undervisning og fritidsaktiviteter samt en tilknyttet social- og sundhedsforvaltning.Mange af børnene i Anitas Hus er gamle nok til at arbejde. Derfor har Union Lido Vacanze og Amani Onlus med hjælp fra tusindvis af personer finansieret en fagskole, der tilbyder kurser i informationsteknologi og sykurser uola professionale (til et samlet beløb af euro 68.300, som er indsamlet i perioden 2005 til 2007). Med donationerne i 2008 og 2009 er den nye og den gamle del af huset blevet møbleret og der er blevet indkøbt husholdningsapparater og andet udstyr.

We have, as you can see, gone beyond the traditional concept of sanitary facilities, to make a diversified use of the space available. The inclusion of areas for leisure pursuits, relaxation and physical activity, where our guests can have fun, relax and keep fit, make the W10 Leisure Building a real innovation in the world of camping parks.

Included in the price access to the covered pool, to the open-air multifunction pools, the safe relax area, changing rooms, steam room. Entrance to the steam room forbidden to persons aged under 14 years. Entrance to the swimming pools forbidden to persons aged under 14 years unless accompanied by their parents. Hygienic bathing caps must be worn in the pools.

THE SPRITZ A little history: the Venetians started drinking spritzes during the period of Austrian domination, and the term in fact comes from “gespritzt”, which means wine diluted with water. Subsequently, the Venetians added a dash of “Select”, a Venetian liqueur, and a twist of lemon zest. There are various versions of the original recipe, some with prosecco, or with soda instead of water, or with Aperol or Bitter Campari instead of Select. Garnishes can range from lemon zest to a slice of orange or an olive. This is a pleasant drink at any time of day, and is normally accompanied by “cicchetti” (nibbles) of various types. Drinking a Spritz in company is a good opportunity to have a chat with your friends!

In another pan, gently fry the scampi, king prawns and crab claws in garlic infused oil; season to taste. Cook until the seafood is golden brown.Bring threes litres of water salted with 80 g of coarse salt to the boil.Cook the troccoli for 6 minutes, and then drain well. There is a hidden Venice off the beaten track, jealously protected by its quiet, narrow “calli”, and its lesser-known piazzas, here called “campielli”.There are corners of the city in which Venice is just Venice, and nothing else. Each “sestiere” (the word comes from “six”, the number of districts into which the city is divided) has different, unique features.

The sestiere of Cannaregio attracts few tourists, but is buzzing with life, thanks to its thousands of little shops and tiny restaurants, and is full of things to discover, from the Jewish Ghetto to the Church of the Madonna dell’Orto, and the tables outside the bars and restaurants of Fondamenta della Misericordia. You will always see a lot of movement around aperitif time at Da Rioba, All’Anice Stellato and Alla Vedova (Cannaregio 3912 Ramo Cà d’Oro tel. +39 041 5285324). Fondamenta della Misericordia is the place to go for fancy dress. Just ring the doorbell and before you know it, you’ll be transformed into a damsel or Prince Charming. In Castello, one of the oldest areas of the city, visit San Pietro di Castello, the only church in Venice which still has a grass churchyard.

In San Marco, Alberto Valese is well worth a visit. He was one of the first to adopt a particular marbling technique for decorating paper, which he uses for his deskware and stationery (Alberto Valese, Campo S.Stefano 3471 www.albertovalese-ebru.com ). And don’t forget the Greco sisters, the lampshade artists, who make table lamps for the whole of Venice.

In San Polo you will find the market, once “of spices, tea and coffee” but now selling fruit, vegetables and fish. Kiriku, a clothes store for contemporary kids (San Polo 1463 tel.+39 041 2960619), is right opposite the “Doll Hospital”, where dolls big and small, teddy bears and toys in general can be repaired. Santa Croce is home to the city’s most important museums: Ca’ Pesaro, Museo d’Arte Moderna, and the Fondaco dei Turchi, with the mosque and Turkish bath, now the Museo di Storia Naturale.

Lastly, the sestiere where I live, Dorsoduro, from Punta della Dogana, is today home to the Museo di Arte Contemporanea, magnificently renovated by Tadao Ando. Stretching towards San Basilio, there is an incredible succession of small workshops and stores tucked away: craftsman and “casoini” for the local Venetians, including my favourite patisserie, that makes pastries, pandoro and panettone in full view of the customers (Pasticceria Colussi, Dorsoduro 2867 Calle Lunga San Barnaba tel.+39 041 5231871); the best stocked bookshop in the city (La Toletta Librerie, Dorsoduro1213 www.libreriatoletta.it ); and the “glass-necklace ladies”, Marina and Susanna Sent (Dorsoduro 669, www.marinaesusannasent.com ). I Castello er S.Pietro di Castello et af de ældste områder i byen, og kirken er den eneste i Venedig, der stadig har en græsplæne som kirkeplads.

I S.Marco er det værd at opleve Alberto Valese, en af de første til at anvende en særlig teknik til dekorering af papirobjekter og unikt marmoreret papir (Alberto Valese, Campo S.Stefano 3471 www.albertovalese-ebru.com) og søstrene Greco, der fremstiller lampeskærme til hele Venedig.

REGULATIONThese rules are presented at the guest’s arrival. They are displayed at the entrance and inside UNION LIDO. Guests’ entrance into the campsite signifies their complete acceptance.

1Upon arrival, guests are requested to submit valid proof of identity as required by law for registration. As a receipt, they will be given a numbered, personal and non-transferable UNION LIDO pass. Guests are asked to ensure that the check-in information is correct and matches the equipment and number of people. The pass grants guests access to the campsite; it must be shown unasked upon entry and must be submitted to campsite personnel upon request. Gates are open to vehicle traffic during the following hours: 08:00 AM-1:00 PM and 3:00 PM-11:00 PM (11:30 PM during high season).Only vehicles of guests having checked out the previous evening are permitted to leave between 7:00 and 8:00 AM (see rule 7).

2For the peace and security of all guests, cars must be used as little as possible. When their use is absolutely necessary, please use the paved streets, at walking pace, never exceeding a speed of 10 km/hour. Vehicles must not be used during the afternoon rest period or at night.

3Afternoon rest: from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PMNight rest: from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AMThe peace and tranquillity of others must be respected during rest periods, inside the campsite, on the beach promenade and on the beach. In the respect of your neighbours’ rest, air conditioners may not be used during these times.

4Minors (children under the age of 18) must be accompanied by, and must reside with, their parents or legal guardians, who are responsible for ensuring they observe and respect the campsite rules.

5in residential areas of the campsite and on the beach, it is not permitted to:a) play radios or musical instruments at any time of day.Televisions may be played as long as the sound is not heard outside the lodging.b) play football or rough house (use the Parco Union areas).c) barbecue (use the specific barbecue spots; see number 25 on the campsite map).d) put up any type of shade or wind breake) use bicycles (including children’s bicycles) or electric City Rollers. These may be used only on the following streets: Via Bologna, Via Verona, Via Torino and Via Cavallino (see campsite map).f) use roller skates, skateboards or similar equipment(use the “Pista Verde”; see campsite map).When using scooters, we ask that great care be taken to avoid accidents. Scooters may not be used in the pedestrian area, along the beach promenade, in the shops, bars or restaurants, washrooms or the rest of the campsite during rest periods and at night.

It is forbidden to:1) bring any non-registered person into the campsite without permission.2) bring along dogs or other pets into the campsite. 3) light fires on the beach.4) bathe in the pools without the necessary swimming caps. Caps, bandanas and other hats are not allowed.5) bathe when the sea is rough, during thunder-storms or at night.6) make noise during rest periods (from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM), in the campsite, on the promenade, on the beach or on the piers.

The Management of UNION LIDO reserves the right to immediately remove any client who, in their opinion, through unruly behaviour, disturbs the tranquillity of others or fails to observe the rules above.

7Upon check-out, we ask that guests leave their pitch or lodging clean and tidy.

To avoid possible delays on their departure date, guests are advised to settle their account the previous day. Guests of tour operators having reserved and pre-paid their stays must check out and claim a zero balance receipt the day prior to their departure.Cashier’s hours: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 4:00 PM - 7:00 PMPayment may be made in cash or by credit card (CartaSi, MasterCard, Eurocard or VISA). Personal documents will be returned at departure upon presentation of the tax receipt, receipt and return of the UNION LIDO passes.

REGLEMENTNærværende reglement uddeles ved ankomst. Det hænger desuden i Receptionen og rundt om på UNION LIDO. Ophold på campingpladsen forudsætter fuld accept af hele reglementet.

1Ved ankomst bedes gæsterne aflevere et gyldigt persondokument til registrering iht. loven. Gæsterne får udleveret et UNION LIDO campingpas, som er nummeret, personligt og som ikke må overdrages til andre. Man bedes kontrollere, at registreringen er korrekt og stemmer overens med campingudstyr og antal personer. Campingpasset giver adgangs- og opholdstilladelse til campingpladsen, og det skal vises ved indgangen eller på opfordring af vores personale. Portene er åbne for biler i følgende tidsrum: 08.00-13.00 og 15.00-23.00 (23.30 i højsæsonen).Udgang fra kl. 7.00 kan kun ske for gæster, der rejser hjem, og som dagen inden har checket ud.(se punkt 7 i nærværende reglement).

2For fred og ro og alles sikkerhed skal biler anvendes mindst muligt. Hvis det er nødvendigt, bedes man kun køre på de asfalterede veje og holde afstand til personer. Maks. hastighed er 10 km/t. Det er forbudt at køre i stilletiden om eftermiddagen og om natten.

3Stilletid, eftermiddag: fra kl. 13.00 til kl. 15.00 Stilletid, nat: fra kl. 23.00 til kl. 07.00 I hviletiden skal der være ro og fred, både på campingpladsen og langs og på stranden. For at undgå at forstyrre naboerne, må man i ovennævnte tidsrum ikke tænde for air-condition.

4Minderjährige (unter 18 J.) werden nur in Begleitung der Eltern aufgenommen und müssen mit diesen zusammenwohnen, damit die Beaufsichtigung und ein korrektes Verhalten der Jugendlichen gewährleistet ist.Die Eltern werden im Fall des Falles zur Rechenschaft gezogen.

Dette er kun tilladt på følgende veje: Via Bologna, Via Verona, Via Torino e Via Cavallino (se kortet over campingpladsen).f) at rulle på rulleskøjter, skateboard og lignende(brug den “Grønne piste”, se kortet over campingpladsen).Når man løber på løbehjul, bedes man passe på andre personers sikkerhed. Løbehjul må ikke anvendes i fodgængerområder, langs stranden, i butikker, restauranter, toilet- og badefaciliteterne og på hele campingpladsen i stilletiden.

6Det er forbudt:1) at lade uvedkommende komme ind på campingpladsen, uden tilladelse2) at medbringe hunde eller andre husdyr3) at tænde bål på stranden4) at bade i swimmingpool uden badehætte. Man må ikke bruge andre former for hovedbeklædning.5) at bade når havet er uroligt og oprørt, under uvejr ogefter mørkets frembud.6) at larme i stilletiden (fra 13.00 til 15.00 og fra 23.00 til 7.00), både på campingpladsen og langs og på stranden og molerne.

Ledelsen på UNION LIDO forbeholder sig retten til at bortvise gæster efter egen vurdering, hvis deres adfærd forstyrrer freden og hvis de ikke overholder de ovenfor anførte regler.

FOOD AND DRINKThere is a choice of eight restaurants with Italian and international cuisine. Five of them serve pizza, one is a rotisserie and one serves fried food. The Cantinetta Lispida with its excellent wine made in-house, the beach stands, the ice cream parlours, the cafés and the crêperie can offer you a wide range of specialities. The supermarkets and fruit and vegetable shops offer quality and a huge selection of goods.

SHOPPINGWe are the only campsite with two shopping centres. There are 25 stores offering clothes, accessories, national and international newspapers and magazines, tobacco products, toys, beach and camping goods, household supplies, camping gas, footwear, fragrances, herbal products, photos, jewellery, souvenirs, handicraft, health and beauty goods and much, much more.

FACILITIESAt the entrance: secretary’s office with lost property desk; cashier’s office with safety deposit boxes and mail distribution; cash dispenser. AQUA PARK LAGUNA (over 6,000 m²)Completely new to Europe – the first sandy pool in a campsite. A lagoon covering more than 1,000 m² with pure white sand, a grotto, a waterfall, water music, a jet stream route, a wild river, a water castle, hydro-massage beds, a silica sand solarium, palms and the “Barena” Bar.Approximate opening period from the middle of May to the middle of September, depending on the weather conditions. W10 LEISURE BUILDINGNew for 2010! In its 55th anniversary season, Union Lido Park&Resort presents a new health concept: the exclusive W10 Leisure Building.The multifunction building offers truly innovative services, such as an indoor counter-current swimming pool, a steam bath, hydro-massage tubs, a relaxation area, a children’s pool and centralized services. Open from 15 May 2010 until the end of September. Entrance not included in the price of your stay.

Near the campsite there is a sports centre with 9 tennis courts, a riding school, a regulation football pitch, a 5-a-side football pitch with an artificial surface, a football school for children, an archery range, a golf practice course with 3 holes, a mini-golf course and table tennis tables.

ENTERTAINMENTThe weekly programme features sporting and recreational activities, games and sports tournaments, films, and evening musical, variety and dance shows. Also on offer are the Mini and Junior Clubs, a Scout Camp and artistic activities including painting lessons and work on glass and ceramics.

EXCURSIONSThe convenient bus and boat services allow you to experience the charm of Venice and the islands in the lagoon. The bus stop is opposite the entrance to the campsite: get the tickets at the information office before boarding.There is also a broad selection of organized and guided excursions:Venice and the islands, Lake Garda, Opera in the Verona Arena, bike and boat trips in the surrounding area.Ask at our information office in the pedestrian area for information and reservations.

Lige fra telt til hotelsuite i sikre, rene omgivelser og med et stort udbud af faciliteter.I sæsonen 2010 vil vi gerne overraske jer. Derfor kan vi præsentere den første højteknologisk overdækkede og miljøvenlige swimmingpool nogensinde på en campingplads, nye flotte beboelsesenheder og mange andre nyheder, som findes på siden Preview 2010.55 års succes ville ikke have været muligt uden jer, som har været os tro og er vendt tilbage år efter år. Vi vil derfor gerne takke alle Union Lido-tro gæster ved at tilbyde jer nye faciliteter og det bedste serviceniveau i campingverdenen. Vi ønsker jer god læsning og håber at se jer den 15. maj 2010 til vores fødselsdagsfest!
