ITG4TU Project: This project is aimed to gather a set of researchers from four universities with a wide
experience in developing and deploying ITG framework models from 3 different countries (Spain, Germany and Norway) to develop, adapt and test a new ITG framework to be implemented in HEIs in Tunisia. Expected results of this project include a better governance model for IT in Tunisian HEIs as well as an overall modernization of the governance processes for HEIs and a contribution of the cooperation between EU and Tunisia.
University of Balearic Islands The University of the Balearic Islands is a Balearic Spanish university, founded in 1978 and located in Palma on the island of Majorca.
Main Activities during the visit The main purpose of this mission was to start creating a reference catalogue that contains the IT-related standards applicable or already applied.
Identification of standards in ITG. Descriptions Comparison of standards. What is already applied in the framework of our European partners (UIB) What is already applied to the UTM (Tunisia)
The research work focused on the following standards:

Conclusion This mission was an opportunity for me to deepen my knowledge of IT governance related standards and it allowed me to properly frame and prepare the content to include in my referential report.
