Positioning and clamping in one single operation – VERO-S gets to the heart of rationalization.

This method of reducing set-up time ensures higher machine running times and a more rational production from batch size 1. Especially in small batch quantities and a comprehensive range of workpieces, very significant cost advantages can be achieved with the VERO-S system. SCHUNK thus supports the trend toward greater production variability.

In order to further increase life span and process reliability,the base body and all functional components such as clamping pins and clamping slides are made of hardened stainless steel. Hermetically sealed against dirt, chips, and coolant, the modules are completely maintenance-free.

固定スライダーはスプリング力で閉まり、セルフロック式クランプピンでロックします。標準装備のターボ機能により、スプリング力に加えて圧縮空気の力がピストン面に加わります。こうして引き込み力が最大で 3 倍にも上昇します。わずか 6 bar の圧縮空気でモジュールが開きます。モジュールからエアが抜けると、スプリングがモジュールを自動的にロックします。

More efficient, faster, more precise – the VERO-S quick- change pallet system from SCHUNK is the new benchmarkin precision and economy in machine tools.

VERO-S combines two basic functions:

1. Centering via short tapers2. Locking via 2 clamping slides

The clamping slides are closed via spring force and self-lock the clamping pins. The standard turbo function uses compressed air to increase the spring force and also at the piston surface. This increases the pull-in forces by up to 300%. Compressed air at a pressure of 6 bar is sufficient for opening the modules. When the module is deaerated, the spring packages automatically lock the module.

The turbo function is integrated in each module and allows considerably higher cutting parameters. When activated, it also supports the spring force,thus ensuring extremely high pull-down forces up to 40 kN. Mechanical locking is done via the spring assembly, is self-locking, and uses form-fit clamping. Holding forces up to 75 kN are achieved.

複雑なワークのクランプに最適準備が整ったら、ワークは数秒で挿入でき、周囲全体がクランプされます。全体プロセスはアルミニウムの弾性域内で行われるため、クランプは数千回繰り返すことが可能です。SPM plus 138 には追加のクランピングユニットは不要です。必要に応じて、ミーリング加工を数回行うことができます。最大ワーク径は 125 mm。

Direct clamping - highly efficient and individual

SCHUNK has developed the fixture membrane SPM plus 138 made of aluminum for the quick-change pallet system VERO-S NSE plus 138. Once inserted in the membrane, particularly filigree or thin workpieces of various clamping geometries can be clamped from all sides. The exact workpiece geometry is milled according to the blank of the fixture‘s clamping surface. Due to the high pull-down forces of the VERO-S NSE plus 138, high clamping forces ensure perfect adjustment to the workpiece contour - easy, safe and reliable.

For complex clamping tasks

Once prepared, the workpieces can be inserted within seconds, and the complete circumference is clamped. Since the whole process is carried out within the elastic range of aluminum, the clamping operation can be repeated several thousand times. The SPM plus 138 does not need an addi-tional clamping unit. If required, it can be milled off several times, and a different workpiece geometry can be used. The maximum workiece diameter amounts to 125 mm.

VERO-S NSL turn – SCHUNK competence in lathe chuck and stationary workholding technology combined in a new clamping station. The system for milling-turning centers ensures with high pull-in forces of the modules for extremely rigid and safe clamping of the device. A visual monitor provides information on the current clamping state (turbo function).

Suitable for all standard milling-turning centers

The intelligently designed hose connections between the modules ensure that there is sufficient space for holes in the base plate. The clamping station can therefore be used with all standard machine types.

Direct clamping set-up, safe machining:

Workpiece preparation: Provide form fit and tapped bore for the clamping pin.

Mount the VERO-S NSE mini clamping pin in the work-piece to be processed.

Screw the VERO-S NSE mini clamping pin into the workpiece direct clamping station (only use type A clamping pin).

Fix the workpiece direct clamping modules on the workpiece direct clamping station.

Open modules on the clamping side for the workpiece and insert the workpiece on the clamping modules that are directly fixed in place.

Remove the air supplies; modules clamp via spring force.

To achieve higher machining parameters, it is recommended to increase the pull-in force through the turbo function.

The workpiece can now be machined in one clamping set-up.

On all conventional machine tables.Through a modular system the NSE mini 100-2 clamping stations can be extended as often as desired. Mounting is easy: replace locking screws through adapters for the air coupling and interconnect the clamping stations.

Saves space through compact design

The compact design of the modular clamping station is convincing. Due to the sophisticated fastening system for fixing the clamping station on the machine table, a low height of just 30 mm can be realized. Fastening is done via a pivoted conical spring washer. It can be pre-adjusted for all major T-slot spacings and it is located under the module. Once aligned, the NSL mini serves as the basis for pallet set-up within seconds.

Easy operation for maximum safety

The NSE-M mini 90 is the manual module of the mini series. The clamping slides are closed through spring force and lock the clamping pins with self-locking function. To open the module the tangentially positioned drive piston is actuated through 120° counterclockwise rotation – closing is then executed in the clockwise direction via spring support.

Patented drive for the flattest design

The manual mini module has dimensions that are identical to those of the pneumatic module. The pull-in force amounts to 1,000 N with a height of only 20 mm.

Integration in the entire mini modular system

NSE-M mini is 100% compatible with the pneumatic module, and thus can be combined as desired with the other NSE mini components.

The clamping pin is fastened at the tombstone as well as the workpiece. Then the workpieces and the quick-change pallet module type NSE plus 138 are directly fastened on the tombstone.Due to the flexible dimension of the hole matrix, workpieces of any size can be quickly and safely clamped. If the workpieces are externally pre-assembled at the tombstone, the whole tombstone with the workpiece is changed out in the machine. For optimum pre-positioning, the VERO-S clamping station is equipped with 2 pre-centerings (1). Therefore, the whole tombstone can be integrated in the machine in less than one minute.

特殊形状の VERO-S クランピングステーション、クランプモジュール

14 個付き機械テーブルに完璧に調整。ROTA S plus 旋盤用手動チャックは適切なブラケットプレートを使用して 1 分以内に付け替えることができます。加工作業で使用しないクランプモジュールは、SDE 138 標準保護カバーでカバーします。

Customer-specific VERO-S clamping station with 14 clamping modulesperfectly adjusted to the machine table. The ROTA S plus manual lathe chuck can be changed out via a suitable bracket plate in less than one minute. Clamping modules which you are not using in the application are covered with an SDE 138 standard protection cover.

Two indexing tables with each four pieces of built-in clamping modules type NSE plus 138assembled on a Matec milling machine. The modules are currently equipped with protection covers.

お客様の機械テーブルにぴったりのソリューション6 個タイプ / 2 個タイプ / 2 個タイプクランピングステーションは、既存の機械形状に適切に合わせてあるため、作業スペースを有効に活用できます。モジュールはペアで制御することができます。特長：KONTEC KSG 125 NC バイスは、クランプモジュール (ゲージ 200 mm) に直付けできます (アダプタープレート不要 )。

Made-to-measure solution for your machine tableThis combined 6-way / 2-way / 2-way clamping station is specially adapted to the contour of the existing machine thus making optimum use of the work space.
