Energy Saving Technologies
1. Loading Force Auto Adjusting
This fatastic function is nature born with ezStep-PM. ezStep-PM is able to automatically acquire the current loading information, and output the only necessary force to approriately run the escalator. This function keeps the system operation dynamic and smooth at any time, and cuts off any un-necessary or over-enough power supply.

2. Electricity Re-Generation
Re-Gen Unit
When system runs in downward direction, Re-gen unit is able to use ezStep's unique double-PWM VVVF technology to
covert the kinetic energy into qualified re-usable electricity, and feedback to other local/public grid.
Parellel Engery Coupling
In case of parrellel escalator arrangement, the upward running escalator's regenerated electricity can directly supply to
upward running escalator, to reduce the overall power consumption.
4. Auto Start/Stop
By incorporating photo sensors, ezStep is able determine the escalator's loading condition, and automatically start or stop moving
to cut down the energy wastage.
Start: Once photo sensors detect any incoming passengers, system automatically starts up. When the passenger comes in correct direction, system resume normal operation; but if in wrong direction, system only moves for 10 seconds then stop as warning
reminder.
Stop: If there are no passengers detected for an adjustable period, system stops working and enter hibrate mode to cut down power consumption.
3. Intelligent Inverter
After implanting the fine selected inverter, the whole system works under VVVF or VC control, is able to easily realize the smooth
speed changing and output torque changing.
Energy Saving - Invertor monitors the motor running status at all time, and accurately generate the output torque use VVVF/VC
technolgoy to increase the system efficiency.
Better Performance - With the invertor control, system is able to keep the operation stable and smooth at all time regardless the
speed or loading changing.

Stainless steel: Step is fabricated from stainless steeel sheet, its high strength prevents the thread from being deformed by sharp objects, and increase the step's lifespan.
Thread notches: Every thread had been cut with many notches to avoid any possible slippery. Round-curve step edge: Step edge had been special processed with round cut to remove the dangerous sharp edges. Demarcation Lines: Step is sourrounded with three sides of yellow damarcation lines made from synthetic resin.

TrussThe truss is designed based on the FEM analysis with excellent rigidity performance. According to the CE test result submitted by TUV, the full-load distort is only 1/1200 with comparason of EN standard as 1/750
Driving StuctureBeing the core mechanical part inside the whole system, the structure is solidly manufactured under the assembly fixtures positioning with robot welding to improve long term stability, reliability and its liftspan.
Handrail Driving StructureHandrail driving system adopts big roller driving mode with larger contacting area between handrail and driving wheel to minimize the handrail wear and tear. Ether polyurethane is specially used on the surface of handrail rollers to reduce the wear-out caused by continuous friction, and remove the possibilities of abnormal leap.
Solid Mechanical Structure
Earthquake ProtectionezStep has special designed securing structure, ensure the escalator firmly
connected to the main building structure. In case of earthquake, the escalator
can still keep its position and fix to the building strucutre to avoid dropping down
accident.

1 Opening of holes in floor slabs for installation and recovery work
