Vicky Denner – BIO 2016

Joining the Royal Australian Airforce in 1987 Vicky

obtained a broad range of qualifications including

Indonesian linguistics, basic civil flying training followed

by Air Traffic Control, Operations and Education. With

Tertiary qualifications in education, operations, business,

transportation, project and risk management, Vicky is an

extremely accountable; results oriented motivator,

educator and operational manager.

A busy working mother of three, Vicky has held Senior Management roles in ASX

Top20 and Board Positions for more than 5 years. Currently serving on the Board

of Skill360, and Railway Volunteer First Aid, Vicky has also championed in the

sporting field, captaining National teams to victory over 15 years.

Highly qualified and experienced executive leader and non-executive director with

a background in Government, ASX companies, Defence and private enterprise,

Vicky has been the functional head of training, governance, quality and risk.

Serving on boards has lead to a balanced portfolio of strategic and management

roles focused on quality customer delivery and stakeholder satisfaction.

Currently the Governance and Quality Manager E-Learning Services at QUT, Vicky

hopes to continue her career with innovative and challenging roles in Education,

inspiring and mentoring others whilst holding board positions which support her

values and interests.
