Tra tutti i paesi della riviera gardesana, quelli del garda Trentino sono quelli dove il vento soffia con maggior intensità e costanza.
nelle giornate di tempo buono il vento soffia costantemente da nord al mattino e da Sud al pomeriggio a causa della differenza di temperatura tra la superficie lacustre e il territorio a settentrione del lago.
VENT O PELÉRSoffia da nord nelle prime dodici ore del giorno interessando gran parte della superficie del lago di garda incorporando ed alimentando altri venti. normalmente soffia a partire dalle 2-3 di notte fino alle 11-12.
interessa dapprima l’alto e medio lago per poi coprire l’intera superficie col sorgere del sole, che d’estate coincide con un aumento di intensità. È un vento teso che forma onde la cui cresta viene spezzata dalla sua forza.
nel gergo popolare si dice che il vento ‘el pela’ l’onda. A ciò si deve il nome più comune di Pelér. Tale vento può arrivare a soffiare anche oltre i 13 m/s.
ORAProveniente da Sud, è il vento più famoso dell’alto garda conosciuto da surfisti e velisti di tutto il mondo. Si alterna al Pelér, soffiando a partire dalle 12/13 fino al calar del sole.
l’Ora raggiunge nella zona dell’alto garda la sua massima intensità grazie alla conformazione orografica del territorio che causa l’effetto Venturi, portandola a soffiare oltre i 10 m/s e provocando un significativo moto ondoso. ha nella bella stagione la sua massima intensità mentre in inverno è assai debole.
VENTO DA BALìm O BALINOTScende dal Passo Ballino, situato a nord-ovest di riva. Periodico e prevalentemente invernale, soffia dopo un brusco abbassamento della temperatura nella zona da cui proviene, causato spesso da abbondanti nevicate o temporali.
raggiunge anche i 20 m al secondo. Solleva onde più alte di quelle del Pelér.

PONALVento periodico proveniente dalla Valle di ledro. Vento da ovest; soffia verso sera, nelle ore più fresche. gagliardo, tende a raggiungere la costa orientale dove però diventa meno intenso.
Si incorpora nel Pelér, del quale talvolta rappresenta una variante di maltempo. Talvolta accompagna i temporali estivi soffiando a forte intensità e creando non poche complicazioni ai naviganti del lago.
VINESSASoffia dal versante veneto verso quello bresciano e arriva nell’alto garda da una direzione più spostata verso est rispetto all’Ora. È un vento occasionale e può soffiare costante per due/tre giorni consecutivi.
Solitamente è dovuto a forti perturbazioni sul versante Adriatico ed è anticipato da Bora intensa nel Triestino. grazie alla costanza del vento e alle onde ben formate è un ottimo vento per fare windsurf.

Es ist an den Orten des garda Trentino, unter allen am gardasee, wo der Wind am intensivsten und regelmäßigsten weht.
Bei schönem Wetter weht der Wind morgens konstant aus dem norden und nachmittags aus dem Süden aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Temperaturen an der Wasseroberfläche und in der Berglandschaft im norden des Sees.
DER „VENT“ ODER „PELÉR“ Weht während der ersten zwölf Stunden des Tages aus norden über einen großen Teil der Oberfläche des gardasees und vermischt sich mit anderen Winden oder nährt sie. normalerweise weht er von 2/3 Uhr nachts bis 11/12 Uhr.
Er betrifft hauptsächlich den nördlichen und mittleren Teil des gardasees und erreicht dann mit dem Sonnenaufgang die ganze Oberfläche, was im Sommer zu höheren Windstärken führt. Er ist ein starker Wind, der Wellen hervorruft, deren kämme von seiner kraft gebrochen werden.
im hiesigen Jargon heißt es, dass dieser Wind die Wellen „knackt“ (pelare). Daher kommt sein gebräuchlicher name „Pelér“. Dieser Wind kann Windstärken von mehr als 13 m/s erreichen.

DIE „ORA“ kommt aus dem Süden und ist der berühmteste Wind des oberen gardasees. Er ist Surfern und Seglern aus aller Welt gleichermaßen bekannt. Er unterscheidet sich vom Pelér dadurch, dass er von 12/13 Uhr bis zum Sonnenuntergang weht.
Die Ora erreicht dank der orografischen Form des Territoriums, die den Venturi-Effekt hervorruft, am oberen gardasee seine höchste geschwindigkeit mit über 10 m/s und verursacht erhebliche Wellen. Er ist während der schönen Jahreszeit am intensivsten und eher schwach im Winter.
DER „VENTO DA BALìm“ ODER „BALINOT“Fällt vom Ballinopass, im nord-Westen von riva, herab. Er bläst regelmäßig und hauptsächlich im Winter vor allem nach starkem Temperaturabfall in der gegend, in der er entsteht. Er wird oft durch starke Schneefälle oder gewitter hervorgerufen.
Er erreicht geschwindigkeiten von 20 m/s und verursacht höhere Wellen als der „Pelér“.
DER „PONAL“ ist ein periodischer Wind, der aus dem ledrotal kommt. Er weht von Westen in den kältesten Stunden des Abends. Er ist ein frischer Wind, der auch die östliche küste erreicht, dort aber weniger intensiv ist.
Er vermischt sich manchmal mit dem „Pelér“ und bringt bisweilen schlechtes Wetter mit. manchmal begleitet er die Sommergewitter und bläst so stark so dass er den Wassersportlern auf dem See nicht geringe Schwierigkeiten bereitet.
DIE „VINESSA“ Weht von Venetien nach Brescia hinüber, erreicht den oberen gardasee aus einer östlicheren richtung als die „Ora“ und ist ein gelegentlicher Wind, der zeitweise drei/vier Tage hintereinander konstant weht.
normalerweise wird dieser Wind durch starke Störungen an der Adria hervorgerufen. ihm geht meist eine kräftige „Bora“ aus richtung Triest voraus. Dank der konstanten Windstärke und gleichmäßigen Wellen ist der Wind optimal fürs Windsurfen.

it’s on the garda Trentino coast, compared to the whole lake garda, where the wind is more regular. it constantly blows from the north in the morning and from the South in the afternoon because of the difference in temperature between the surface of the lake and the northern territory.
ThE “VENT” OR “PELÉR” Blows from the north during the first twelve hours of the day, affecting a large part of the surface of lake garda incorporating and nourishing other winds. it normally starts blowing from 2 or 3 o’clock at night until 11 or 12 o’clock in the morning.
it first affects the northern and central part of the lake but then it affects the entire surface at sunrise, with increasing intensity during the summer. it is a strong wind forming waves whose crests are broken by its force.
in popular slang they say that this wind breaks (“el pela”) the waves, where its more common name Pelér derives from. This wind can blow even over 13 m/s.
ThE “ORA” Blowing from the South, is the most famous wind in upper garda, well known by surfers and sailors from all over the world. it alternates with the Pelér, blowing from 12/ 1pm until sunset.

This causes in fact the Venturi effect which intensifies its force to over 10m/s provoking significant wave motion. it reaches its maximum intensity in the summer while in the winter it is very weak.

ThE “PONAL”A periodical western wind, blowing from ledro Valley during the fresh hours of the evening. it is a strong wind and tends to reach the east coast where it loses intensity.
it incorporates the Pelér, now and then representing bad weather. Sometimes it accompanies summer thunderstorms blowing with a strong intensity and creating a lot of problems to sailors and surfers.
ThE “VINESSA” Blows from the Venetian side towards the Brescia side and arrives in upper garda from a more eastern direction than the Ora. it is an occasional wind and it can blow constantly for two or three days, usually due to heavy perturbations on the Adriatic side and anticipated by an intense Triestine “Bora”. Thanks to its constancy and well formed waves it is a perfect wind to practice windsurf.
