Queridos padres,

Esta semana disfrutamos viendo las presentaciones para mostrar lo que han aprendido de nuestra Unidad de Español "Cómo reciclar, reutilizar y reducir" y la Unidad de Inglés de cómo todos pueden ser buenos "Ayudantes de la comunidad", incluidos los niños e incluso las mascotas. ¡Tomemos todo lo que hemos aprendido para ayudar a cuidar el medio ambiente!

Esta semana comenzarán la unidad final en español para el año que es "Preparándose para Kínder" y la unidad en inglés que es el "Estudio de pelotas, bolas y balones". Aprenderemos sobre lo que los estudiantes saben, lo que necesitarán para continuar aprendiendo durante el verano y cómo prepararse mental y físicamente para el próximo año escolar. ¡Terminemos fuerte!

INSTRUCCIONES Y PASOS DE APRENDIZAJE REMOTO

· El lunes por la mañana recibirá los planes de lecciones por REMIND.

· Puede tocar los enlaces en los planes para llegar a los videos o ir a mi página web.

This week we enjoyed watching the presentations to show what you have learned from our Spanish Unit of "How to Recycle, Reuse and Reduce" and the English Unit of how all can be good “Community Helpers" including children and even pets. Let’s take all that we have learned to help take care of the environment!

This week will be starting the final Spanish unit for the year which is "Getting Ready for Kindergarten" and the English unit that is the "Balls Study". We will be learning about what students know, what they will need to continue learning during the summer and how to prepare mentally and physically for the next school year. Let's finish strong!

REMOTE LEARNING INSTRUCTIONS & STEPS

· On Monday morning you will receive the lesson plans by REMIND.

· You can click the links in the plans to get to the videos or go to my website.

· Go to mozartmustangs.org Teachers Staff Directory and scroll down to find and click on my picture (Mrs.Myriam Alcabes).

· Click on the Video & Audio link in the blue box to find the CALM CLASSROOM & READ ALOUD videos.

· After your child has seen the Read aloud, you can write the question at the top left of the page along with the date and start recording so I can see the process and give you guidance.

· Your child should start by writing their name in the upper corner of the page.

· Ask the child the question and they can respond to the question by drawing in their journals.

· When they are done drawing, ask the question again and please make sure you write their exact words as they describe their drawings.

· To send me the work, you can send it through the SEESAW application. You can send the final product in the form of a photo. I encourage you to record them while they are working. This will make it easier for me to give you guidance to help them further.

If you need help or advice, my office hours are 10 a.m. at 12 p.m. and from 1 p.m. at 3 p.m. In the REMIND app, you can send us a message or a call and we will reply to you during business hours. Your child's attendance will be counted as soon as the work is submitted, unless we have made other adjustments. Thanks for all your help, assistance and patience during this time.
