wanted them to be a part of our special day. Since Philip also is a part of the Sound Investment Band, we wanted him to be the music of the day and Kathleen to be our officiant. They both worked with us through the whole process. We met together on several occasions to finalize all the details of the big day. There was so much involved, so much to think about, that we were worried that it was going to be chaotic. But Kathleen and Philip are so professional and so good at what they do that they walked us through everything and made it so easy and seamless. My partner and I were married by Kathleen in October 2013. We did a random Google search for gay-friendly celebrants /officiants and up popped Kathleen’s page. We liked what we saw, and after a few emails back and forth, we setup an initial phone call with Kathleen. After liking what we heard, we setup a meeting at her home about a week later. Setting up the call and the meeting were a breeze. Kathleen was very accommodating to our schedules and was able to meet us in the evening on a weeknight. When she opened her front door and we said our initial hello’s, we immediately felt a connection with Kathleen. She has such a warm heart and made us feel comfortable right off the bat. She sat us down and she helped us plan our ceremony with several different options to choose from. She even brought up suggestions and ideas even we didn’t think of. I knew during this meeting we simply had to have Kathleen perform our ceremony. About 3 weeks prior to our wedding, we setup another call with Kathleen to go over the final details for our ceremony and once again, she made us feel so at-ease. The Monday before our wedding, Kathleen took the liberty to call us to check in on how we were doing. The check-in’s were very reassuring. I’m giving all these details so people will see how much Kathleen truly cares for her clients and wants them to feel they’ve got nothing to worry about. Wedding day arrives, and Kathleen arrived early and the ceremony went off without a hitch. Kathleen spoke so fluidly and compassionately! Everything went just as planned. Our entire family during the reception kept going on and on about how wonderful her service was. We love Kathleen and were truly blessed to have found her and our wedding day couldn’t have been the same without her.  Jill said... When we first met Reverend Kathleen, we KNEW she was who we wanted to officiate our wedding- she was very warm, approachable and made a very nervous soon-to-be bride feel very comfortable ;) Throughout the entire planning process, she was able to offer suggestions and input to tailor the ceremony to our unique preferences- she returned every phone call within hours of receipt and even corresponded with us when she had to travel out of town for a family emergency. Essentially, she made the planning effortless for us. On the Big Day, our outdoor ceremony had to be changed at the very last minute (literally minutes before the guests arrived) to an indoor ceremony due to inclement weather (who said rain was good luck???). Reverend Kathleen was very adaptable and handled everything with ease, directing all of us on how to enter the building, where to stand, and so on. We even did a quick run-through before the actual ceremony. Everything worked out perfectly and we have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful our ceremony was, despite the change of plan. If you are looking to hire an officiant who truly devotes themselves to ensuring that your ceremony is beautiful and personalized, then definitely hire Two Hearts, One Love. We worked together to customize a cermoney we were comfortable with. The ceremonies can be religious, some-what religious, or a celebration of your love together with no religious parts. Rev. Sciscione is very professional, and is very well spoken. Our families and the guests thought he did a beautiful ceremony, as did we. Everything we wanted and more    posted 9/22/2013My husband and I were not members of any congregation and we went online to find someone who we could feel good about marry us and sharing our special day. After speaking with 3 local wedding officiants in the Philadelphia area we knew Rev. Kathleen was the one for us as soon as we met her. She was warm and welcoming from the very first meeting. She asked us questions about our relationship and our vision of the ceremony then gave us multiple options for each part of the ceremony so we could custom tailor the ceremony to our vision. She offered great advice about some special additions to the ceremony and was caring about all of our personal concerns. Rev. Kathleen is passionate about marrying loving couples and her passion is evident in her work. She made the ceremony very special, stress free, and everything that we could have ever wanted.

We traveled to Philly with 2 sites in mind but as soon as we entered their beautiful loving home, we knew that there was no other place that we wanted to be married and they graciously welcomed us into their home. We eloped not having our families around so having them both be apart of our day meant so much to us as it was just us four. Reverend Philip was there to capture wonderful pics so that we will forever have memories of a lifetime of our special, blessed day. My husband and I are very laid back and their service and attention allowed us to have a stress free and relaxing wedding day! Reverend Kathleen was patient, fun, and very accommodating. Her suggestions from dinner to flowers were right on point! We even trusted Rev Kathleen to write our vows and she captured us flawlessly; we could not have done a better job ourselves. She was there to assist in every way which allowed us to just "show up" and say our "I dos". calm and relaxed, like we had been friends for years. She understood our needs instantly and provided us the information we needed to make our dreams a reality. Throughout our planning and following months up to our wedding day, Rev. Kathleen kept in constant contact when we had questions - she was always accessible. On the day of our wedding, Rev. Kathleen met with us individually before the ceremony to run through the program one last time and helped to calm our nerves. 

Rev. Kathleen performed our ceremony perfectly, no one could have done better. She made our ceremony fun, witty, professional, and even involved our guests. When we were done, she no longer felt like a friend, but family. 

We would definitely recommend Two Hearts One Love to anyone. They truly make your dreams come true in a professional, friendly and spirited manner. They are not your typical Officiants - they're more than that. They do their homework to know you, your spouse and your family. They create a magical moment for everyone to remember. immediately that she was the one to marry us. I was impressed with her spirit, personality and enthusiasm. All this over the phone! When we met, she took time to learn about Lou and me, how we met, what our expectations for the ceremony were, etc. There was no doubt that we had made the right decision.Reverend Kathleen had asked if we booked a band or DJ. We hadn’t and were looking for recommendations. Her husband, Philip Sciscione did both. We booked the two of them as it made so much sense. When we spoke to Philip, he was so down to earth. He liked our music selections and had some great ideas to keep the energy level high during the reception. Once again, we knew that the right choice had been made.On the day of the wedding, Reverend Kathleen did an outstanding job during the ceremony! She incorporated all that we spoke about. There were some surprises as well which had our guests, Lou and me laughing. She was totally right – it flew by!Philip did such an amazing job with the music! Our guests (and Reverend Kathleen) were on the dance floor for the better part of the evening. He played the music we asked for and sang a song or 2 as well. The end of the night came all too soon.Planning a wedding can be stressful. That’s what I’ve been told anyway. My experience was quite the opposite. From the moment I spoke to him on the phone, I felt at ease and knew he was the officiant for my husband and my wedding. Not only was he flexible when we had to change our date, but he seemed sincerely invested in our day and our relationship. He was funny, polite, tactful, and my family loved him. He traveled from the Philadelphia area to East Berlin, PA for our wedding. We spoke many times on the phone to work out our ceremony as we are about 1.5 hours away from Philly. Rev. Phillip was able to balance our need for religious and spiritual aspects of our ceremony, and was very willing to tweak everything to our liking. I loved working with Rev. Phillip and his wife and would suggest him to ANYONE!

We were welcomed like any other couple and we could not have been more thankful! Reverend Kathleen was phenomenal! From the moment we met her we knew we wanted her to officiate our wedding. She was so personable and helpful! She walked us through everything, and being as nervous as we were, she made us feel completely comfortable. She gave us numerous options for each part of the ceremony that we were able to choose from, edit, or include our own. She also gave us ideas on having a ceremony within the ceremony. We loved the idea so much we chose to have sand ceremony included. She also added a few things to the ceremony that lightened the mood a little and helped us relax. We spoke to a few officiants but as soon as we met Kathleen we knew she was the one! She is very kind and immediately put our mind at ease from the first moment. She also always responded to us immediately, by phone or email, and worked with us throughout the planning. What I also loved was how flexible she was as she allowed my husband and I to create our own unique ceremony. We were able to add readings or prayers or write the words exactly as we wanted. While she has suggestions and ideas she was also open to anything we brought up and was always willing to help. She made the day very special for us and we can't thank her enough! I'm very happy we chose Kathleen to be a part of our special day. LOVED Rev. Kathleen    posted 10/9/2014My husband and I used Rev. Kathleen's services in June 2014. She was very easy to get in contact with. she responded quickly to our inquiry, and was very open to what we wanted our ceremony to be like, which is refreshing. Some of the other officiants that we considered were somewhat rigid in their ideas of what a marital ceremony should be like. Rev. Kathleen was quick to respond to emails leading up to the big day, and sent us a very easy to understand suggested script. We ended up using what Rev. Kathleen suggested, and creating our own ceremony wording with readings that we chose. The day of Rev. Kathleen arrived on time. I had forgotten to pick our marriage license up at the courthouse (REMEMBER TO DO THIS!!!), and she was calm, cool, and collected about it. Everything worked out wonderfully, and we could not have been happier with the service. We are STILL getting compliments about Rev. Kathleen- everyone thought that she was polished and extremely professional!We HIGHLY recommend Rev. Kathleen- she made the process easy to understand (even the legal paperwork part)!!!

Kathleen is professional and gracious, and when we met with her we felt welcomed and comfortable immediately. She presented us with many options for the ceremony, and it was easy to customize an experience that was a perfect fit for us. She did a wonderful job on the day of our wedding, and I was able to relax and enjoy the experience along with everyone else. Her husband, Philip, was our DJ and he worked along side her queuing the music perfectly. For us choosing an officiant and figuring out the ceremony was definitely a stressful decision, but she made it such an amazing experience for us. I don't think we could have chosen a better partner who was able to make us feel comfortable and help us create a wedding that was the perfect combination of personal, heartfelt and fun!She made our day special and the process leading up to the big day easier. First of all, she is just a lovely and pleasant person, who was shared in our excitement for our wedding as if we were her only couple. She made us feel comfortable and helped to relieve some of the stress of the planning, as we felt very confident that we were in good hands. We were planning our wedding remotely so we Skyped with her a few times and fortunately were able to meet with her once in person to during the planning process. Each time she was punctual, organized, and made good use of the time each time we met with her. She guided us through the entire process, providing us with options and explained the traditions and intention of the parts of the ceremony. She listened to our ideas and helped us to create the ceremony we wanted, including partnering with a close friend who is a priest, to incorporate him into the ceremony. She was also early for the rehearsal and great at directing the entire bridal party, and making everyone feel comfortable.For the ceremony, she was very relaxed and also kept things moving at an appropriate pace. For the most part she went over what was planned, as well as a few brief sections she added in for flavor and to be personal and humorous. She had a few jokes sprinkled in the ceremony that were timed well as well as some improvised ones which clearly demonstrated she was relaxed and able to roll with the punches. Our ceremony ended up being everything we wanted it to be due to Rev. Kathleen's personality, experience, professionalism, and joyful spirit. If we had to do it all over again, we'd choose Rev. Kathleen every time!

Our wedding was a second marriage for both of us and we didn't want anything big or fancy. Just our kids and close family members. I searched on line for Wedding Officiants and found Kathleen. We met at her home and immediately we both loved her and knew she would be perfect for our special day. Kathleen made us feel very comfortable, like we had known her forever. She is fun, friendly, upbeat and has a great sense of humor. She performed a lovely ceremony tailored to our needs, which included our children. Kathleen was very gracious in offering her home as our destination. It was a beautiful day outside on the deck and one my husband and I will cherish forever. I highly recommended Reverend Kathleen as a ceremony officiate!    posted 7/1/2014Reverend Kathleen officiated my May 2014 wedding ceremony. Not only did she do a beautiful job on the day of, but she helped to make the planning process less stressful. Ours was a long engagement, and we booked Reverend Kathleen in the fall of 2013. 

From the first initial meeting, she tried to determine what type of ceremony would be a great fit, then walked us through a basic ceremony template, which my husband and I eventually adjusted, word by word, to make it ours. Reverend Kathleen encouraged our joined enthusiasm to make the ceremony meaningful to us, and was great in giving feedback to help the reading of the text flow.

Additionally, she helped me, as the primary planner, to stay on a positive timeline by reminding me to start considering things like applying for our marriage license. There is a magic window of time in which one must do this, and she helped to make sure we were operating within that block, with room to spare. This may not seem integral, but think about it -- no license, no marriage. I found it helpful, as I was juggling about two dozen other projects besides.

However, while all that is well and good, here is where Reverend Kathleen really shined, at least for me: whenever she and I communicated, she would ask me how I was doing, and she seemed legitimately interested. When there was a wedding related issue, she would endeavor to help navigate it, when appropriate.An excellent example of this is as follows:Our ceremony was in a local park, and I had some trouble lining up ceremony music for it. I thought I had found someone for this, but he fell off of the grid, three weeks before the wedding. (Three weeks!!) I thought I would die. However, in mentioning this to Reverend Kathleen, she arranged to have her husband Philip take care of our ceremony music, despite the last minute circumstances. It was a lifesaver, and immediately helped me to get back on track with making my wedding happen. Also, as a side-note, Philip did a great job with the music and everybody loved it!

In conclusion, Reverend Kathleen was a joy to work with. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Philadelphia area. She is not only friendly and knowledgeable, in regards to crafting a beautiful ceremony, but she is also a great person to have in your corner when planning gets hairy. 

(Also, she and her husband Philip seemed to work great together, and the cues for our ceremony were seamless, so if you can book them both, I recommend it!)

I have heard the whole band play several times and absolutely fell in love with them. They are phenomenal and upbeat, really get people on the dance floor. You could request literally any genre or song, and they've got it covered perfectly.We decided to have Phil from Sound Investment, DJ our wedding and he was fantastic! Not only did he DJ but he sang a few sons including our wedding song, Billy Joel, "Just The Way You Are" which was incredible. The whole night was awesome, non-stop dancing from every age group. He even had our obscure requests. Prior to the wedding we had a great consultation where we listened to a ton of songs, very relaxed and cool to pick your playlists that way. Loved them!    posted 7/29/2015Sound Investment Band is amazing! They played at two of my cousins weddings prior so I knew I wanted them for my wedding too! We went to a band showcase where they played some songs for us so that we could decide whether or not they were the right band for us. 

Philip helped us organize the structure of the night (when toasts, dances, etc. will take place). 

We gave them a few songs we wanted them to play but other than that they played songs based on what the guests were enjoying...which is what we wanted! They do a great job getting the guests involved, coming out onto the dance floor, etc. They can sing any genre of music and it all sounds great! Their female lead singer sang Whitney Houston "I will always love you" (special request for my parents) and it was absolutely amazing! Whitney Houston is a tough singer to sing like, but she did it so perfect it was unreal!!They made the night so fun! I was on the dance floor the entire night!!I definitely recommend them!
