Always Carry Tracts 1
Welcome to everyone, and Especially
to our Guests online this morning!
1
Pray:
1 Nehemiah 8:8 So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused [them] to
understand the reading.
8 이와 같이 그들이 [하나님]의 율법에서 책에서 명료하게 낭독하고 의미를 알려 주어 그들로
하여금 그 낭독하는 것을 깨닫게 하니라.

2 All Scripture taken from the King James Version (via e-sword, reference (Ref:), www.e-sword.net ) or the
Korean King James Version (KKJV, ref: http://www.keepbible.com ). All word definitions are from Strong’s
Concordance, via e-sword.
Sometimes, large quotes are taken from reference books inside of e-Sword and placed into the Background
Notes. These are to give context to terms or issues that the speaker is preaching and teaching on. Generally,
sermons are posted later on the IIBC website. When you refer to https://iibckorea.com/sermon-archive/ you can
download selected sermons for review.
We encourage IIBC members to pray for three impossible things, for three minutes every day. What is
impossible in your life? Have you asked God about it yet in prayer?
Matthew 21:22 And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
22 너희가 믿고 기도할 때에 무엇을 구하든지 모든 것을 받으리라, 하시니라.
Have you ever tried reading your Bible through in one year? God will bless you if you give His entire Word a
read?
Share: This tract was written by Sister Carol Porter of Lifegate, Inc. It completes the Peace, Grow, Share trilogy.
Ref: https://www.godssimpleplan.org/grow. Share, © 2016 C. S. Porter.
IIBC, with Sister Porter’s permission, translated Share into Korean. Share is translated using the Precept by
Precept, Line by Line (PbPLbL) method of translation, © 2020 In Peace Trading Company, Incheon, ROK. The
Korean translation is in Lifegate’s hands, if you need it for your ministry.
This morning’s message covers the tract in its entirety. It is modified/amplified in places, adding reference verses,
as necessary. This helps the reader see what The Bible says. When Share is posted on the IIBC webpage, the
tract, in effect, becomes a bi-lingual, 24 hour/7 days a week/365 day a year missionary. You can send links to
your friends as a witness.

After you’ve accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior,
how do you share Christ?
1. Naturally you want to share the good news of the gospel with others.
“But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give
an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in
you with meekness and fear” (1 Peter 3:15).
2. Are you prepared to present God’s gift of salvation to others?
3. Witness for Christ with gospel tracts.
4. A convenient and effective way to share Christ is to give out gospel
tracts.
5. People can read and consider the truth of God’s plan as the Holy Spirit
works in their heart.
6. A Gospel Tract never gets tired.
Do you have peace with God? Are you saved? Have you been born again from above?

IIBC has partnered, over the years, with Lifegate Inc. in the translation of God’s Simple Plan of Salvation
(GSPS), Peace, Grow, and Share tracts in several languages. Some of these tracts have been printed in bi-lingual
editions; which are great tools for witnessing, especially if you are not fluent in the language other than English.
Bi-lingual tracts allow you the capability to point to the specific paragraph (or sentence) [color coded] in the
other language as you are witnessing.
For a list of tracts that Lifegate Inc. publishes, see: https://www.godssimpleplan.org/languages-in-print.

7. A Gospel Tract never gets nervous around other people.
8. A Gospel Tract is always ‘ready to preach’.
9. A Gospel Tract contains the very Word of God.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it
shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please,
and it shall prosper [in the thing] whereto I sent it.
11내 입에서 나아가는 내 말도 그러하여 그것이 헛되이 내게로
되돌아오지 아니하고 내가 기뻐하는 것을 이루며 내가 그 말을
보내어 이루게 하려는 일에서 형통하리니.
A Gospel Tract shall not return unto God void.
Void: emptily, ineffectively. 3
A Gospel Tract will accomplish what God pleases.
A Gospel Tract will make it to the destination that God decides.
A Gospel Tract will get the job done!
10. Pray for God to lead you to those who need Him.
11. Always - Keep tracts with you; and think ahead about what you’d like
to say.
3 Void: H7387 ריקםreyqam ray-kawm'’From H7386; emptily; figuratively (objectively) ineffectually,
(subjectively) undeservedly: - without cause, empty, in vain, void. Total KJV occurrences: 16. ref: Strong'’
Concordance (SC), via e-Sword.

you.”
c. “I’d like to share this message with you about God’s plan for
us.”

e. [A 40 year service Missionary to Korea, used to open a
soul-winning conversation up with:] “Are you interested in
spiritual things?”
18. During this period of COVID 19, some people may be reluctant to
take a tract, because they are maintaining ‘personal space’. 4
a. Pray.
b. Respect their space.
i. Ask, “May I give this to you”?
c. Be kind.
19. What helps? Genuineness—pleasant personal concern.
20. Good personal grooming & fresh breath.
21. Eye Contact—show sincere interest in them.
22. Respect for their time—If they are at work, share the tract briefly with
a friendly comment without interfering with their job.
23. Creating interest—Use well designed full color gospel tracts.
24. Quality makes a good impression and draws people to the message.
25. Biblical tracts—Salvation is repentance and faith in Christ’s
substitutionary death and resurrection.
4 IIBC maintains a FREE Tract and Gospel Literature distribution area in the hallway next to the church. You
would be surprised how many Bibles, Scripture portions, John/Romans, and Gospel tracts have been ‘picked up’!

26. Make sure the concepts are well supported with scripture.
27. Make sure your tracts clearly explain from the Scriptures ‘How to be
saved’. 5
a. IIBC’s GSPS bi-lingual soul-winning tract does just that.
5 [Here is a] Personal attention idea from Jim Kilgore Ministries —If you are at a restaurant, learn your server’s
name. Tell them before you pray for your meal, you’d like to pray for a request that they have. Then before you
eat remember that request in your prayer. After you eat, show concern again. Ask them by name, “If I were to
ask you if you were to meet some tragedy today and you would die, do you know for sure you would go to
heaven—or would you have to say that you just don’t know?” Share a tract with them (along with a generous tip).
Tell them that if they read it they will understand how to know for sure that they are going to heaven.

28. What hinders?
a. Pride or Insincerity—don’t be a hypocrite.
b. Shyness—Focusing on yourself can create shyness.
29. Ask the Lord to help you! 6
a. [Remember] It’s not about you, it’s about their eternity in
Heaven or Hell.
b. Give people the Gospel. “To open their eyes, and to turn them
from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God,
that they may receive forgiveness of sins...” (Acts 26:18). 7
8
6 If soul-winning, go out in teams of twos.
7 Counting people as numbers—Some Christians treat witnessing like a competition for numbers of converts.
If they can get someone to repeat a quick prayer, they’ll claim the lost person is saved and add them to
their total. But some people will say anything to simply get rid of you. You can lead someone to think
they’re on their way to Heaven, but if there has been no repentance or genuine faith—there is no
regeneration. Repentance is realizing that you are on the wrong path in sin and being convinced in your
heart to genuinely turn to God for forgiveness and eternal salvation. 8 PJ (in sunglasses) and Salty discuss soul-winning at IIBC.

30. No good works or repeated insincere words can earn Heaven.
a. It’s all about having faith in what Christ did to give His life in
place of yours. (John 3:16–18; Ephesians 1:7; 2:8–9).
b. Christians are the beacon of light giving God’s message to the
world, but the Holy Spirit is responsible for the results.
c. Ideas for witnessing with gospel tracts.
31. Create a tract display in your church lobby and encourage people to use
them.

32. Have gospel and discipleship tracts available for response to church
messages. [ALAC] [IIBC Webpage] 10
33. Use children’s tracts for children and large print tracts for seniors.
34. Personal attention makes such a difference.
35. Organize a church tract outreach program Enclose a tract with a church
brochure or church event flier in mailings to your area. 11
36. Have a church-wide tract emphasis week or month
37. Give everyone a packet of tracts to distribute per week.
10 These ideas have suggestions from culture in the United States. Some are very useful, However, please
review them in the cultural lens of Korea: “Send tracts in greeting cards: graduation, thank you, Christmas,
Easter, Thanksgiving, sympathy, new baby, friendship, birthday, encouragement, wedding, congratulations,
anniversary, retirement, get well, New Year’s, thinking of you, Valentine’s Day, new home, etc. Leave tracts:
in hospital waiting rooms, restrooms, Halloween candy bags, direct sales orders, prison ministries, college
outreaches, on church visitation, your yard sale tables, with business contacts and people you meet, in gift bags
for cancer or hospital patients and those in senior communities, etc. Leave with a tip at a restaurant—The tract
is not a “tip.” Even if you’ve received poor service, be pleasant and generous when leaving your tip with a
tract. Their world may be falling apart. God may use your gospel tract to bring them from despair to salvation.
Try using Spanish tracts at Mexican restaurants and Chinese tracts at Chinese restaurants. Create a small gift to
include with a tract: One man gives a dollar bill inside of every tract. One woman makes beaded bracelets and
arranges one around the tract as a gift. Make a small decorative envelope and leave the flap up. Fold a tract in
half with the cover showing when it is inserted into the back of the envelope. Include chocolate or tip.” Ref:

each month. If a freight container is being shipped to their field, you can include a larger quantity of tracts. Tie
tracts (maybe in snack size Ziploc bags) to the strings of helium filled balloons and release them at a church or
youth event. Remember military chaplains need tracts.” Ibid, Share.

Ask the Lord.
Ask Him for souls.
He will give them.
He will give you the means to disciple them (Acts 1:8, Hebrews
9:27).
38. Pray for God’s leading.
Acts 1: 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in
Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost

unto the uttermost part of the earth (anywhere else).

Translator: We will go line by line through the Invitation bullet statements this morning!
INVITATION: Every head bowed and every eye closed, please. Christians:
Confess known sin; then pray for God to bless the Invitation.
Three questions:
1. Are you saved?
Are you born again from above.
If You died today are your 100% sure that you would go to heaven.
If you are not saved, we would love to take a Bible and show you how
you can know for sure that you are saved.
2. Have you been baptized by immersion, since salvation, in a church of
like faith and practice?
If you are saved and have not yet been baptized by immersion, I would
like you to let Pastor Tchah know that this morning.
The Lord Jesus was baptized by immersion by John The Baptist.
The Disciples and Apostles were baptized by Immersion.
The Lord Jesus commanded his disciples to preach and teach the Gospel,
baptizing those who got saved. 12
Baptism therefore, is a command to be obeyed.
There is nothing to be nervous about. We are family and friends here.
3. Are you ready to meet God?
a. We all should be ready to pray, to give testimony about the Lord, or
to pass away.
b. Is there any bitterness on your heart?
c. Is there any sin that you need to confess to God, silently, as you
pray?
12 Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in
earth. Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the
Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Mat 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you:
and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
