Dello Iacono: Per ideare il brand e sviluppare l’in-novazione abbiamo messo in campo le decennali competenze di marketing maturate nel settore della fashion industry e nel turismo alle quali si è unita la passione per l’enogastronomia. Abbiamo seleziona-to le strutture per rappresentare l’eccellenza italiana nel campo dell’ospitalità di charme e dell’enologia di qualità e coniugato tutto questo con il wedding design: è così che è nato il progetto Wine&Wedding. Devo dire che tutto ciò non sarebbe nato se non aves-si incontrato le persone giuste al momento giusto.

Cvetić: Parlavo con Giovanna della mia idea di organizzare una sfilata di Alta Moda Sposi al Ca-stello di Semivicoli e mentre conversavamo le ho chiesto perché non pensare ad un progetto sul vino per divulgarne la cultura e raccontare anche il paesaggio. Successivamente Giovanna, con il suo team, ha sviluppato un progetto straordina-rio, Wine&Wedding appunto, coinvolgendo le migliori Cantine che hanno le location giuste per l’ospitalità dei matrimoni fuori porta, per rap-presentare al meglio l’ Italia ed essere vincenti grazie al gioco di squadra.

D.I: Il nostro progetto si rivolge principalmente al target estero ma anche alle coppie italiane più esigenti che amano il Simple Luxury e che sogna-no di festeggiare un intero weekend fuori porta insieme ai loro amici e parenti. Da tutto il mon-do arrivano richieste per i matrimoni nei Resorts italiani e non è un caso che tanti Vip scelgano la nostra bella Terra per coronare il proprio sogno d’amore. Ma abbiamo voluto aggiungere ancora di più: garantiamo agli sposi ospiti nel Bel Paese che troveranno solo l’accoglienza migliore e più attenta all’Original Italian Style. E’ per gustare con tutti i sensi la bellezza dell’Italia che vengo-no qui e allora meritano un trattamento di rigoro-sa classe, come solo un Wine Resort certificato O.W.C. (Outdoor Wedding Certificate) sa dare.

C: Ospitalità e convivialità sono passioni naturali degli italiani ma forse il valore più importante si può condensare nel binomio ‘bellezza e qualità’, del prodotto, della natura, del clima, del savoir faire, delle tradizioni artistiche, di quella parte gaudente della vita e della cultura europea della quale io stessa non potrei fare a meno.

Dello Iacono: The brand concept and develop-ment are underpinned by our strong marketing background, acquired working in the fashion and tourism sectors, combined with a true pas-sion for fine food and wine. We selected resorts that represent Italian excellence in boutique hotel hospitality and quality winemaking, in-volving them in wedding design. That’s how Wine&Wedding was born although if I’m ho-nest, it would never have happened if I hadn’t met the right people at the right time.

Cvetić: I was chatting to Giovanna about my idea for organizing a designer bridal gown fashion show at Castello di Semivicoli, and I asked her to give some thought to a project that would combine wines and weddings. The aim of the project would be to spread wine culture while also promoting the landscape. Giovanna went away and developed the marvellous Wine&Wedding project with her team, now engaging several wineries and their resorts, ideal venues for destination wedding, perfect for representing the best Italy has to offer, and a sure-fire success thanks to the teamwork behind it.

D.I: Our project aims to reach an international target but also more demanding Italian couples who love Simple Luxury and dream about an out-door wedding that might last an entire weekend with family and friends. We receive requests from people all over the world asking us to organize their wedding in an Italian Resort and it’s no coin-cidence that so many VIPs choose our beautiful country to make their romantic dream come true. But we wanted to add that extra something, so the bride and groom who are guests in our “Bel Pae-se” will be sure to find the best, most traditional yet Original Italian-Style welcome. People come Italy to enjoy the country with all their senses, so they deserve the elite service that only an O.W.C. (Out-door Wedding Certificate) wine resort can offer.

C: We know that Italians have hospitality and conviviality in their blood but the “beauty and quality” duo expresses the most important value, for products, nature, savoir faire, art traditions, that joyful part of European life and culture that I, for one, can’t do without.

D.I: On the subject of beauty and quality, I’m de-lighted to present Wine&Wedding and its 7Senses Wedding project worldwide, because I firmly be-lieve that Italy’s most exclusive accommodation is to be found in our network: our Wine Resorts are the result of experience and traditions rooted in history, as well as the guarantee of genuine products and top services. La nostra scenografia è il paesaggio enogastrono-mico italiano! “Quando ci troviamo davanti a un paesaggio che per la sua grandiosità ci colpisce e ci supera, la sensazione di piacere che proviamo de-riva anche da un moto di appartenenza”. Nelle pa-role di Tullio Pericoli tutto il coinvolgimento di chi vuole assaporare un’esperienza italiana attraverso i sensi per diventarne progressivamente parte.

Mare sconfinato, colline ammantate di viti, campi di olivi secolari, verdi prati con bestiame al pascolo sono la nostra scenografia di cui sarete parte e attra-verso il cibo e il vino diventeranno la vostra carne. “Perché - citando Soldati - fare sul serio la cono-scenza di un vino non significa affatto, come forse si crede, assaggiarne due o tre sorsi, o anche un bic-chierotto. [...] Significa andare sul posto, e riuscire a farsi condurre esattamente in mezzo a quei vigneti da cui si ricava quel vino. Passeggiarvi, allora, in lungo e in largo. E studiare, intanto, la fisionomia del paesaggio intorno, e la direzione e la qualità del vento; spiare sulla collina l’ora e il progredire dell’ombra; capire la forma delle nuvole e l’archi-tettura delle case coloniche. [...] Significa passeg-giare a lungo anche nelle cantine, sottoterra, [...] fiutare l’odore del vino che ancora fermenta...”.

Our setting is a boundless sea, hills cloaked in vineyards, centuries-old olive groves, green pa-stures with grazing animals. Because, as Mario Soldati wro-te: “Two or three sips, or a nice glass of wine do not mean, as you may believe, that you have really got to know a wine. [...] You need to go to the place and visit precisely those vineyards that produce that wine. You will have to stroll around them for a long time and study the features of the surrounding countryside, even the direction and type of wind; watch the time and progress of the shade from the top of a hill, understand the shape of the clouds and the architecture of the farmhou-ses.
