Moe gdzie indziej jest wszystkiego wicej,

tylko z pewnych powodw brak tam malowide,kineskopw, pierogw, chusteczek do ez.

Jest tutaj co niemiara miejsc z okolicami.

Niektre moesz specjalnie polubi,

nazwa je po swojemu

i chroni od zego.

Moe gdzie indziej s miejsca podobne,

jednak nikt nie uwaa ich za pikne.

Moe jak nigdzie, albo mao gdzie,

masz tu osobny tuw,

a z nim potrzebne przybory,eby do dzieci cudzych doda wasne.

Poza tym rce, nogi i zdumion gow.

Niewiedza tutaj jest zapracowana,

cigle co liczy, porwnuje, mierzy,

wyciga z tego wnioski i pierwiastki.

Wiem, wiem, co mylisz.

Nic tutaj trwaego,

bo od zawsze na zawsze we wadzy ywiow.

I cant speak for elsewhere,

but here on Earth weve got a fair supply of everything.Here we manufacture chairs and sorrows,

scissors, tenderness, transistors, violins,

teacups, dams, and quips.

There may be more of everything elsewhere,

but for reasons left unspecifi ed they lack paintings,picture tubes, pierogies, handkerchiefs for tears.

Here we have countless places with vicinities.

You may take a liking to some,

give them pet names,

protect them from harm.

There may be comparable places elsewhere,

but no one thinks theyre beautiful.

Like nowhere else, or almost nowhere,

youre given your own torso here,

equipped with the accessories requiredfor adding your own children to the rest.

Not to mention arms, legs, and astounded head.

Ignorance works overtime here,

something is always being counted, compared, measured,

from which roots and conclusions are then drawn.

I know, I know what youre thinking.

Nothing here can last,

since from and to time immemorial the elements hold sway.
