LUKE BARRETT (Iago) is a senior BFA Acting major from Houston, TX. Recent credits include After Ashley (Justin), To Kill a Mockingbird (Mr. Cunningham), and Mother Courage and her Children (Player). He would like to thank his family and friends for their constant support, and especially his partner and roommates for tolerating his rants, practice sessions, and need to repeat his first line to make sure no one thinks he’s a villain. He hopes you enjoy(ed) the show! DUKE BARTHOLOMAE (Claudio) is a senior BFA Acting major with minors in Directing and Film from Houston, TX. KIRBY CROSBIE (Hecuba II) is a senior BFA Acting major with minors in Directing and Children’s Theatre from Lexington, KY. This is her mainstage debut due to the virus cancelling Trojan Women. JOSEPH DERBY (Valentine) is a junior BFA Acting major from Boulder City, NV. Recent credits include Eurydice, Cymbeline, and Poor Murderer. ALEXANDRA ECKELBARGER (Understudy) is a junior BFA Acting major with minors in Film Production and English from San Antonio, TX. She is making her OCU Mainstage debut! Recent credits include last year’s Stage II production of On To Victory. She would like to thank God, her friends, family, and cast/crew members for letting her do what she loves and learn so much in the process. OLIVIA WHITE (Cassandra) is a senior BFA Acting major with a Religious Education minor from Fort Smith, AR. PRODUCTION BIOS

JACOB HENRY (Sound Designer) earned his MFA in Theatre Design from Texas Tech University and his BA in Theatre from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi. Jacob has worked with Utah Shakespeare Festival and Walt Disney World as an audio technician. Jacob also taught technical theatre at John B. Connally High School in Pflugerville Texas. While teaching, Jacob co-founded Two Beards Theatre Company and produced shows for three years before heading to graduate school. Recently, Jacob’s work was featured at the Prague Quadrennial International Festival and the Samuel French OOB Festival. HAL KOHLMAN (Director) teaches acting and directing and theatre history at OCU. For eleven years he has been the artistic director of Theatre OCU’s Stage 2 season. Last year he directed Arcadia for the OCU School of theatre having previously directed Phedre Pterodactyls, The Nether, Holy Ghosts and The

Memorandum. Other shows at OCU include The Bartered Bride, The Man Who Came to Dinner, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and several years of Christmas Carol. Best known in OKC as an actor, Hal performed with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the park for 21 years. King Lear, Macbeth, Prospero, Shylock, Friar Lawrence, Lord Capulet, Leontes, Polonius, Malvolio, and Touchstone are a few of his notable roles. Hal also directed All’s Well that Ends Well and The Merry Wives of Windsor for OSP. Locally he has also worked for Carpenter Square Theatre, Oklahoma Theatre Company, and Oklahoma City Rep. A member of AEA, Hal graduated from Rice University with a degree in English Literature and from UT Austin with a MFA in directing for the stage. He took an additional three years of graduate study in theatre history, theory, and criticism from UC Santa Barbara. Hal would like to dedicate this production to his co-director, colleague, and inspiration, D. Lance Marsh. LAUREN MADSEN (Stage Manager) is a junior Theatre: Design and Production major with an emphasis in Stage Management from Austin, TX. Recent credits include Romeo and Juliet (OKC Ballet), A Christmas Carol (Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma), and Julius Caesar, Crazy for You, and To Kill a Mockingbird (OCU). She would like to thank all her friends, family, mentors, cast, crew, and H for their continued support. All the love. D. LANCE MARSH (Director) is in his fifteenth year at TheatreOCU, where he serves as Head of Performance, as well as a Professor in the School of Theatre where he teaches many of the upper division acting courses, including Chekhov, Shakespeare, and Comedy/Tragedy. For the company, he has also directed Man and Superman, Twelfth Night, Pride and Prejudice, The Importance of Being Earnest (twice- once as a co-production with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park and Oklahoma City Rep) , Three Sisters (twice), Uncle Vanya, Hamlet, Dancing at Lughnasa, The Trojan Women (which he also adapted), A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Othello, The Merchant of Venice (a co-production with Oklahoma Shakespeare in the Park), Julius Caesar and The House of Atreus, a massive four-play Greek tragic saga, for which Professor Marsh also did the adaptation. He is the co-director, translator and adaptor for this season’s Woe is Me. The company also produced his adaptation of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol for several years in a row. Lance also serves as the Associate Artistic Director for Oklahoma Shakespeare, where he has acted in Hamlet and directed Misalliance, A Comedy of Errors, The Seagull, Othello, Measure for Measure, Macbeth, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, GB Shaw’s You Never Can Tell, and Much Ado About Nothing. He has also taken a number of student productions of his Shakespeare adaptations: Bad Shakespeare and Clowns, Lovers and Women in Pants to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and he took a

production of Clowns, Lovers and Women in Pants to the 2019 World Theatre Education Alliance (WTEA) Conference in Beijing, China. Before coming to OCU, Lance taught at the Professional Actor Training Program at the University of Arizona, as well as at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and at the University of Wisconsin- Baraboo/Sauk County. He holds a BFA in Theatre (Acting) from Stephens College and an MFA in Acting from UW-Madison. He was a founding company member of the Central Works Theatre Ensemble in California, and the founding Artistic Director of the Summerset Theatre in Wisconsin. Before becoming a teacher, Lance spent over fifteen years as a professional actor, primarily performing in classical plays. He has appeared at the Berkeley Repertory Theatre, the Western Stage, the California Shakespeare Festival, the Okoboji Summer Theatre, Next Act Theatre, First Stage Children’s Theatre, the Milwaukee Chamber Theatre, the Wisconsin Shakespeare Festival, the Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, the Texas Shakespeare Festival, and the Arizona Repertory Theatre and was a company member for 5 years at American Players Theatre. A proud member of Actors Equity and an Associate Artist at Oklahoma City Rep, he recently he has performed in the City Rep productions of Our Town, Hay Fever, Moonlight and Magnolias, August: Osage County, Much Ado About Nothing and as Mark Rothko in Red and in Peter and the Starcatcher, (a co-production between TheatreOCU and City Rep.) He acted in the Oklahoma City Theatre Company production of A Streetcar Named Desire as Mitch. He has directed professionally in California, Missouri, Iowa, Arizona and Wisconsin and directed The Glass Menagerie for City Rep a few years ago. His most recent projects include playing the role of Sam Byck in Assassins and Richard Nixon in Frost/Nixon at Lyric Theatre.
