Von großformatigen Steinplatten wird dasFurnier in einer Stärke von 0,1 - ca. 2,0 mm abgespalten. Polyesterharzund Glas fieber halten die Furnierschichten dabei auf der Rückseite fest zu-sammen. Die spaltrauhe Oberfläche und die wechselnden Farbspiele inden einzelnen Steinschichten machen jedes Stück zu einem Unikat. DieOberfläche wird mit einem Schutzlack versiegelt, da der Stein sonstFeuchtigkeit aufsaugt. Daher sollte stehende Nässe vermieden werden.Pflegetipp: Nur mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch reinigen und anschließendmit einem trockenen Tuch nach reiben. Stone Veneer ist hitze- und kratz-beständig und deutlich resistenter als eine holzfurnierte Fläche, sollte jedoch trotzdem pfleglich behandelt werden.

The “Black Line” Stone Veneer® extension is a real stone veneer madeof cleavable shale. It is wafer thin, and the first ever stone that can beprocessed by a joiner. The approx. 0.1 to 0.2 mm veneer is cleaved fromlarge stone panels. Polyester resin and glass fibre on the back hold the ve-neered layers firmly together. The coarse surface and colour play of theindividual stone layers make each item unique. The surface is sealed witha protective varnish that prevents the stone from absorbing water, butwipe up any spills without delay. Care tip: Clean only with a slightly dampcloth and wipe dry with a dry cloth. Although Stone Veneer is heat andscratch-resistant, and far more resistant than a wood-veneered surface,it must still be looked after with care.

In the case of red core beech, the fascinating grain of the centre ofthe wood is especially eye-catching. In the case of knotty oak, it'sthe swirls and loops that attract our attention. Dark walnut exudes a certain mystery, and helps to contrast lighter applications.

Asteiche, Nussbaum und RotkernbucheVerarbeitung: Es werden alle Maßnahmen gegen Schwinden

und Quellen des Holzes bei der Verarbeitung berücksichtigt.

Eigenschaften: Massivholz ist ein lebender Rohstoff und reagiert daher auf Luftfeuchtigkeit und Umge-bungstemperatur wie ein Mensch mit Frieren undSchwitzen. Farb- und Strukturveränderungen,kleine Risse sowie Verzug können die Folge sein.Besonders bei Asteiche sind, wie der Name schonsagt, kleine und größere Äste zu sehen, die je nachTemperaturschwankung naturbedingt Risse auf-weisen können. Dies alles unterstreicht die Natür-lichkeit und den Charakter von Massivholzmöbelnund ist kein Grund zur Reklamation.

Leimholz: Wössner verwendet nur geleimte Massivholz-platten mit Massivholzlamellen aus einem durch-gehenden Stück. Die Massivholzlamellen werdenstumpf miteinander verleimt. Die einzelnen Lamellen zeigen natürliche Farbunterschiede.

Farbe/Struktur: Kein Baum gleicht dem anderen, denn Klima,Standort und Jahreszeiten prägen den Wuchs. Individuellen Ausdruck erhält das Holz durch Jahresringe, Splintholz und Maserungen. Sie machen aus jedem Möbelstück ein Unikat.

Empfehlung: Das optimale Raumklima liegt bei 45 - 55% Luftfeuchtigkeit und 22°C Raumtemperatur. Vermeiden Sie starke Sonneneinstrahlung, direkte Heizungswärme und zu trockene Raumluft.

OberflächenTische/ Im Gegensatz zur geölten Oberfläche bietet dieStühle/Bank: Lackierung u.a. einen erhöhten Kratz- und Flecken-

schutz. Deshalb lackiert Wössner mit speziellemMattlack, der optisch und haptisch wie geölt wirkt,jedoch mit besseren Gebrauchseigenschaften speziell für den Essplatz.

WICHTIG: Vermeiden Sie stehende Nässe (z.B. durch undichte Blumentöpfe oder Vasen) sowie hohe Tempe raturen (z.B. durch Kochgeschirr oder Kerzenwachs).

LuftfeuchtigkeitQuellen: Trockenes Holz kann Luftfeuchtigkeit aufnehmen,

wodurch sich die Zellwände vergrößern und sich die Form des Holzes ändert. Kann die Luftfeuchtig-keit nur teilweise eindringen, verzieht sich das Holzstück.

Schwinden: Feuchtes Holz gibt bei trockener Umgebung Feuch-tigkeit ab, wodurch die Zellwände dünner werden.Da sich dadurch die Maße ändern, nennt man dieseVerkleinerung Schwinden.

Verzug: Bei Lieferung der Massivholzmöbel darf eine Abwei-chung von 2 mm auf 1 m auftreten (lt. RAL GZ 430,April 2008).

Pflege der OberflächenTrockenreinigung: Die normale Trockenreinigung erfolgt mit einem

weichen Staubtuch.

Feuchtreinigung: Geeignet sind z.B Ledertücher (keine Mikrofaser -tücher); Tuch mit Wasser anfeuchten, auswringenund nebelfeucht reinigen.

Reinigungsmittel: Bitte beachten Sie bei den Reinigungsmitteln dieHerstellerangaben zur Konzentration des Putz-mittels. Scharfe Haushaltsreiniger oder scheuerndeSubstanzen sind ungeeignet. Das NaturproduktHolz nie über längere Zeit feucht oder gar nass belassen, da es Wasser aufnehmen und dabei dieForm verändern kann (Quellung). Deshalb stets nur feucht (d.h. mit ausgewrungenen Tüchern) wischen und pflegen. Test auf Verträglichkeit aneiner unauffälligen Stelle des Möbels vornehmen.

Besonderheiten bei TischenAuszugsplatten/ Bei Tischen mit Auszugsplatten oder Einlegeplatten Einlegeplatten können Farb- und Strukturunterschiede von Holzein-

legeplatte zu Holztischplatte auftreten, ebenso ge-ringe Höhenunterschiede. Heiße Töpfe nicht direktauf der Tischober fläche abstellen.

Natural knotty oak, walnut, and red core beechProcessing: All measures to prevent shrinking and swelling

of the wood are taken during processing.

Properties: Solid wood is a living material and thus reacts to air humidity and ambient temperature like a person, by stiffening and sweating. Alterations in colour and texture as well as small cracks andwarping may result. As the name implies, espe-cially in the case of knotty oak, knots of varioussizes are to be expected, and these knots can formcracks as the result of temperature variations. All of these characteristics emphasise the naturalcharacter of solid wood furniture and are no reason for concern or complaint.

Plywood: Wössner uses only glued solid wood sheets con-sisting of continuous solid wood plies. The solidwood plies are butted up together when gluing.The individual plies display natural variations incolour.

Colour/texture: No one tree is identical to another. That's becausethe climate, the location, and the season all influ-ence tree growth. Woods display individual charac-teristics in the form of annual rings, sapwood, andgrain. They make each stick of urniture unique.

Recommendation: The optimal room conditions for furniture are a relative air humidity of 45 - 55% and a room temperature of 22 °C. Avoid strong sunshine, direct heating from radiators, and overly dry room air.

SurfacesTables/ In contrast to oiled surfaces, varnished surfaces dis-chairs/benches: play extra protection against scratches and staining.

For this reason, Wössner uses a special matt varnishwith the look and feel of oil, but with better charac-teristics especially for the dining area.

IMPORTANT: Avoid the pooling of water (e.g., due to leaking flower pots or vases) as well as high temperatures(e.g., due to cooking utensils or dripping candles).

Air humidity

Swelling: Dry wood can absorb moisture. In doing so, the cell walls expand and the wood warps. If the air humidity can only partially penetrate into the wood,the wood can change shape.

Shrinking: Damp wood will dry out in a dry environment. In doing so, the cell walls shrink in size. The dimensions of the wood are then reduced.

Warping: Upon delivery of the solid wood furniture, deviations of up to 2 mm per meter can appear (according to RAL GZ 430, April 2008).

Caring for surfacesDry wiping: Surfaces should normally be cleaned by

wiping them with a soft, dry cloth.

Damp wiping: You can use, e.g., leather sponges (no micro-fibrecloths). Just dampen the cloth with water, wring itout, and wipe.

Cleaning agents: Please follow the instructions of the cleaning agentmanufacturer with regards to the concentration.Harsh household cleaners or abrasive agents areunsuitable. Wood is a natural product and shouldnever be left in a damp or especially in a wet condi-tion for very long insofar as it will otherwise absorbthe water and warp and/or swell. For this reason,use only damp (i.e., wrung-out) cloths whencleaning and caring for your furniture. We recom-mend that you test the suitability of the agents onan inconspicuous place on the furniture.

BEZUGSSTOFFEn Für die Pflege genügt eine normale Bürste, die nicht zu hart sein sollte. Auch ein Staubsauger mit Düsenaufsatz ohne Borsten ist ideal.n Flecken im Bezugsstoff sind am leichtesten unmittelbar nach dem Entstehenzu entfernen. Vorsicht bei Wolle, Leinen, Baumwolle und Viskose. Durchnässenvermeiden. Feuchte Flecken mit saugfähigen Tüchern/ Papieren auf tupfen.n Zur Fleckentfernung empfiehlt sich ein Trocken schaum. Handelsübliche Reinigungsmittel sollten Sie nur nach Gebrauchs anweisung benützen und voraban einer nicht sichtbaren Stelle des Möbel bezugs aus probieren. Bei chemischenReinigungsmitteln können Beschädigungen des Bezugs auch noch nach zei t-licher Ver zögerung ein treten. Wichtig: Reinigungs mittel nie direkt auf den Stoffauftragen.n Befeuchten Sie ein weißes Tuch mit dem Reinigungs mittel und entfernen Sie Flecken vom Rand zur Mitte. Zu starkes Reiben kann die Oberfläche undFarbintensität verändern. Letzte Behandlung immer in Strichrichtung durch -führen. In jedem Fall für sofortige Trocknung der Polster möbel sorgen und erstnach vollständiger Trocknung benutzen.n Reinigen Sie immer optisch zu sammen gehörende Flächen. Bei Druck stellen ein leicht angefeuchtetes Tuch einige Stunden einwirken lassen und anschließend völlig abtrocknen lassen.n Verfilzung durch Bürsten oder Kämmen in Strichrichtung abwenden (Stoff muss trocken sein).

LEDERn Verschüttetes sofort mit einem saugfähigen Tuch sanft abtupfe. 1-2 x jährlichlt. Pflegeanleitung pflegen. Wir empfehlen Produkte von LCK-Lederpflege(www.lederpflege.de).

WATER-SOLUBLE STAINSBlood, egg, stool, urine:With cold water, if neces-sary complete the processwith a solution of shampooand water. Do not use hotwater, as protein coagula-tes!Ballpoint pen, cocoa, coffee with milk, cream,indelible pen, ink, lip-stick, mayonnaise, milk,perfume, sauces, shoepolish, soot, soup, vomit Wash with a warm solutionof shampoo and water. Ifthis does not remove thestain, then use methylatedspirit, white spirit or stainremover (e.g. OxiClean)when dry.

IMITATION LEATHER An elegant synthetic material with a classic leather grain and in con-temporary colours, madeusing the latest techno-logy.

Typical characteristicsof the fabric n stretching and wrink-

COVER FABRICSn A normal brush, not too hard, is perfectly adequate for standard care purposes.A vacuum cleaner with a nozzle without bristles is also ideal.n Stains on the cover fabric are easiest to remove as soon as they occur. Be careful with wool, linen, cotton and viscose. Avoid saturation. Pat up dampareas with absorbent cloths/paper.n A dry foam is recommended for stain removal. Use commercial cleaning pro-ducts in accordance with the instructions, and test them first in an inconspicuousspot of the furniture cover. Chemical cleaners may damage the cover even aftersome time has passed. Important: Never apply cleaning products directly to thefabric.n Moisten a white cloth with the cleaning product, and work on the stain from theoutside to the middle. Rubbing too hard may change the surface and colour inten-sity. Always finish the treatment working in the direction of the pile. Always drythe upholstered furniture immediately, and do not use until it is completely dry.n Always clean adjoining areas with the same appearance. To eliminate pressure points, allow a moistened cloth to work for several hours,then dry the area completely.n Avoid felting by brushing or combing in the direction of the pile (the fabricmust be dry).

LEATHERn Mop up spills immediately with an absorbent cloth. Clean once or twice a yearin accordance with instructions. We recommend the products of LCK-Lederpflege(www.lederpflege.de).

FRAUEN, MÄNNER UND DER NACHWUCHS

Genau genommen ist Wössner ein typischer Familienbetrieb – ganz wörtlich genommen. Denn hier arbeiten die Mitarbeiter zum Teil in der dritten Familiengeneration. Sie bleiben Wössner buchstäblich jahrzehntelang treu und empfehlen sogar ihren Kinder hier eine Ausbildung zu machen. Wir nehmen das als Bestätigung dafür, dass die Arbeits atmosphäre offensichtlich stimmt. So bildet Wössner zur Zeit sechs Kaufleute aus, zwölf männliche und weib liche Schreiner und neun Polsterer und Polsterinnen. Das entspricht einer Ausbildungsquote von 10%. Auch eine„Frauenquote“ ist für uns nicht Ungewöhnliches, haben wir doch mit unsere geschäftsführenden Gesellschafterin Angelika Wössner eine Frau an der Spitze. MEN, WOMEN AND THE NEXT GENERATION. FAMILY TRADITIONS.Wössner is a typical family company, in every sense of the word. We even have the third generations of some familiesworking for us. They remain loyal to Wössner for decades, and even advise their children to come to us for professio-nal training. We see this as confirmation that the working atmosphere here is obviously right. Wössner is currently training six commercial staff, twelve male and female carpenters/joiners, and nine upholsterers, also of both genders.This equates to a training rate of 10%. We also have a woman at the helm in our managing partner, Angelika Wössner.Thirty percent of our colleagues are women, working in assembly, fabric cutting, on the wood-working machines andin the painting department.
