Welcome to the 2020 Community Job Fair presented by KidsMatter in partnership with the Naperville Park District. The goal of this annual community job fair is to provide all in the community, from high school and college students to retired folks a convenient way to connect with a wide variety of job opportunities. Whether you are looking for seasonal work, part-time, internship or full time work, there may be the perfect opportunity looking for someone just like you! We aim to provide multiple opportunities to develop basic skills needed to become successful workers. By offering additional resources like Career Conversations, Resume Writing, and Mock Interviews it is our goal to have something for everyone! Use this program guide to navigate our fair today. Business and organizations are listed alphabetically following the Naperville Park District opportunities premiered first. The Key below identifies what each hiring organization is looking for. The Naperville Park District and KidsMatter together wish you all the best in your job-seeking endeavors! Volunteering with the Park District is a great way to meet and socialize with others, share your expertise, help fellow communality members, build your resume and have fun! Positions Available: Various Lifeguard positions Skills or experience necessary: Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, ability to respond to an emergency, CPR and First Aid certification is provided
Camps 16+ • Seasonal Summer Positions Available: Various camp counselor positions Skills or experience necessary: Ability to teach sports and games, excellent customer service and leadership, experience working with children
Custodial 18+ • Part Time Year-Round Positions Available: Custodian Skills or experience necessary: Perform a variety of maintenance, repair and manual tasks, operation of building maintenance equipment and cleaning supplies
Golf 16+ • Seasonal Spring-Fall Flexible hours approximately 20 hours per week Positions Available: Maintenance, food service, golf shop & more Skills or experience necessary: Varies by position
Gymnastics 14+ • Part Time Year-Round Flexible hours Positions Available: Gymnastics Instructor Skills or experience necessary: Prior experience in gymnastics, excellent customer service, ability to address complaints and resolve concerns
