Desierto de sal en Rann Utsav Kutch. Guyarat. India

Tribal Them………….. Tribal You……….
India has always been famous for its culture, tradition, ancient
architecture. Above all this less know aspect is tribal
traditional handicraft. Various part of county is home for varied
type of tribal communities. Each community embrace their culture,
learning and art through handicraft. Handicraft includes, textile
sewing, clay / pottery, bamboo art, paintings, etc.
However, few textile and fabric handicrafts have got good
recognition at national and international level. But quite large
variety of handicraft has been limited to villages and districts.
Proposed workshop / winter school course aims to explore different
nature / variety of tribal and traditional handicrafts and propose
interventions and new working / design models, which can improve
their accessibility / visibility at national and international
market. Participants will have hand-on experience working and
