especially this past week, on Tuesday the 14th day of love and friendship, it is my desire that in all our communities and ministries, we renew our commitment to love one another by reactivating our attitudes of Reconciliation, friendship and forgiveness. Last week I had my annual retreat that all the priests attend and I kept you all in my prayers. May the Lord bless you.

SUNDAY REFLECTION Love has many ways of showing itself, but surely one of the most beautiful is the one we discover in today’s gospel: to forgive offenses, to love the enemy.

This is where we find the greatest difficulty. It is easy and beautiful for engaged couples to love each other; it is also very easy and beautiful for parents to love their children and to love each other as spouses when

everything is going well. But when children rebel, when the other person is not the way we would like him to be, when we feel let down, slighted, even

hated, then how difficult it is to love! And yet, that is what holiness and becoming like God is all about. To love when one is loved is very easy; even the pagans know how to do that. But to love without being loved is sublime;

only generous souls know how to do it. To love when one is hated, oppressed, slandered, is divine, and only God and those who live in Him are

able to do it.

REFLEXIÓN DOMINICAL El amor tiene muchas manifestaciones, pero seguramente que una de las más

hermosas es la que nos descubre el evangelio de hoy: la de perdonar las ofensas, amar al enemigo, y aquí radica la gran dificultad para nosotros. Es muy fácil y muy bonito para los novios amarse; es también muy fácil y muy hermoso para los padres el amar a sus hijos y amarse entre sí, como cónyuges, cuando todo va bien, pero cuando los

hijos se hacen rebeldes, cuando la otra persona no es como queremos que sea, cuando nos sentimos defraudados, despreciados y quizás hasta odiados, qué difícil es amar. Y,

sin embargo, en eso consiste la santidad y el ser como Dios. Amar cuando se es amado es muy fácil, hasta los paganos saben hacerlo, amar sin ser amado es muy

sublime, solo las almas generosas saben hacerlo; amar cuando se es odiado, oprimido, calumniado, es divino, solo Dios y los que viven en El pueden hacerlo.

What is the name of God: Jehovah, Yahweh, or ...? Jehovah is an incorrect word. It is a misinterpreta on of the name of God. According to the dic onary, Jehovah (in

English: Jehovah pronounced: dʊhoəvə) is a La niza on of the Hebrew word ,יהוהa vocaliza on of the Tetragrammaton יהוה(YHWH) and the vowels of Adonai, believed to be the proper name of God in

Chris anity and Judaism of the Hebrew Bible, which also Has been transliterated as "Yehowah". This word did not exist un l the year 1000 of this era.
