S u m m a r y

The Hartree--Fock method is now the basis for almost all numerical calculations of characteristics of atomie and molecular states. So its interpretation as the method of partial summation of some class of atomie Feynman diagrams is very important. This interpretation permit sus to understand deeply the sense ofapproximation inherent in the Hartree--Foek method and also the reasonsof its peeuliareffeetiveness which werealize for example in ealculations of ground states of light atoms. As a result we will be able to construet on the basis of the Hartree- Foek method the different theories of eleetronic corre]ations more thoughtfully.
