Ladies & Gentlemen,

Hi, I’m Daminda’s best man #4.

A freaked out best man, with a mike on stage, and you may have obviously guessed by now what is to

follow.

So, please grab your glasses and join me to toast the newly weds.

But, first, let me, for the last time, introduce them separately.

Educated at Dharmashoka College Ambalangoda, and serving HRC Agencies Lanka (pvt) Ltd as Marketing

executive – today’s center of attraction – our beautiful bride – Dilka.

“She always wants to do things better, not only for her self, but also for the people around her” That’s

how Daminda described her.

I personally see her as a friendly – talkative person who also happens to be a real go getter. She is very

keen on planning things out. Everything you enjoy today is a result of Dilka’s detailed planning and hard

work. Although she is a tough customer when it comes to important issues, she possesses a great sense

of humor to balance things out.

So here’s to Dilka who is going to bring a —ÊàÉ̾éÆ ïɾ̨à (i.e. VISHVAASANIEYA VENASAK = a

Trustworthy Change) to Daminda’s life.

A Management Accountant by profession with the education he received from Nalanda, University of Sri

Jayewardenepura and CIMA, A Sri Lankan from Australia – our man of the hour – Daminda.

He has travelled the world, seen it, lived it, but still proves to be a fine Sri Lankan; I guess that says a lot

about a man’s character. Even from the limited associations I’ve had with him, I would surely rank him

as a ïÍå¿ ï¨åÈàïÈ à̈ (i.e. HONDA KOLLEK = a decent Lad).

Guys in the crowd would assure you the rareness of that recommendation, and that too coming out of 

another fellow.

He has understood Dilka and supported her all the way in planning this wedding. His gentlemen

qualities, humble attitude and patience, assure us that he is going to bring Dilka a Ìê ¡¾åªºÆ¨à (i.e.

SUBA ANAAGATHAYAK = a Fortunate Future)

So, here’s to Daminda!

They are a 21st

century couple, brought together by the internet.

They may be different in many ways, but their differences (like Daminda being a patient listener while

Dilka fancy talking a lot), will compliment each other for a happy wedded life.

So, let’s stand up, raising our glasses and wish these lovebirds a joyful future. Here to Mr. & Mrs.

Finally & personally, I would like to say,

CONGRATULATIONS on the TERMINATION of your ISOLATION and may I express an APPRECIATION of 

your DETERMINATION to end the DESPERATION and FRUSTRATION which has caused you so much

CONSTERNATION in giving you the INSPIRATION to make a COMBINATION to bring an ACCUMULATION

to the POPULATION.
