Day 1 - Sunday
morning: arrival at São Paulo International Airport / transfer to the hotel / orientation session
afternoon: tour around the hotel in order to know the facilities / picnic at Ibirapuera Park, São Paulo’s most famous park
evening: welcome dinner at a Steak House
Day 2 - Monday
morning: lectures at a local university: “Brazil: historical and economical overview ” / “Brazil in the World: past, present and the future”
afternoon: visit to São Paulo Stock Exchange, Latin America’s largest Stock Exchange / Historical downtown city tour. Get to know how Brazil’s largest city has developed over the past 4 hundred years
evening: night-out at Skye Bar, one of the most fabulous views of São Paulo’s Skyline!
Day 3 - Tuesday
morning: lectures at a local university: “Labor Market and Human Resources in Brazil” / “Brazil as the World´s bread basket: possibilities and limitations”
afternoon: visit to a Brazilian industry. More than 40 million people entered the middle class in Brazil. How have this effected this industries?
evening: night-out at a Samba bar with live music
Day 4 - Wednesday
Morning and afternoon: travel to Nazaré Paulista, approx. 90 min from São Paulo to visit IPE, Ecological Research Institute, which is Brazil’s largest environmental NGO. Lectures about Green Businesses and Sustainable Development in Brazil. Plant tree activity: zero the carbon of your trip to Brazil!
evening: watch a soccer game at a stadium
Day 5 - Thursday
morning: get to know a Brazilian Start-up company. Get to know the challanges and opportunities of Brazil by talking to an entrepreneur
afternoon: visit to an American multinational company based in Brazil and have a new perspective of doing business in Brazil
evening: Brazilian Rythms Workshop!
Day 6 - Friday
morning: visit the Headquarters of a Brazilian Bank
afternoon: travel to Paraty (5h by bus), a wonderful colonial village just between Sao Paulo and Rio. During the bus ride, students will have the chance to discuss what have been seen by that time of the trip and how they can apply what have learned
evening: enjoy Paraty’s historical downtown
Day 7 - Saturday
morning and afternoon: enjoy a boat trip through Paraty Bay. The boat will stop by an island and two beaches. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
evening: take your time at one of the hundreds of great restaurants in Paraty!
Day 8 - Sunday
morning: jeep tour. Time to get to know Brazilian Rain Forest. The jeep will stop by 2 waterfalls and a Cachaça producer farm
afternoon: transfer to Rio de Janeiro, approx. 4h drive
evening: hotel check-in and time to rest and get ready for the next days in Rio, the last stop of the program
Day 9 - Monday
morning: visit to the Amercian Chamber of Commerce in Rio
afternoon: get to know a company that works with Oil & Gas, a field which is booming in Brazil, specially in Rio de Janeiro
evening: time-out at Pedra do Sal, the historical place where Samba was created. Celebrate this special moment with the locals
Day 10 - Tuesday
morning: time-off to enjoy Copacabana or Ipanema Neighboorhood
afternoon: visit to a Favela (slum). This is a walking tour led by local tour guides. The students will have the chance to see how the locals live and consume
evening: time-out at Ipanema
Day 11 - Wednesday
morning and afternoon: meet Brazilian business students and work on a project with them. We will help you to find a professor from a local university to write a project / challange to the students. That’s a great way to interact with Brazilians and learn the way they work. Students will have 24h to work on the project
Day 12 - Thursday
morning: project presentation. The best team will win an Helicopter ride from Sugar Loaf Mountain
afternoon: visit Sugar Loaf Mountain and be amazed by one of the most beautiful views of Rio de Janeiro
evening: farewell dinner and night-out at Rio Scenarium, considered one of the top 10 bars in the world according to “The Guardian”
Day 13 - Friday
morning: time-off to enjoy Copacabana and Ipanema beaches
afternoon: hotel check-out, visit to Christ the Redeemer and transfer to Rio de Janeiro International Airport
evening: flight back to your home country! We will be waiting for your next visit to Brazil!
