Silks screens are used as the source of the designs to be printed on surface of the clay tiles. (ii) Gems – produced using sophisticated technology known as “double charged”. Multi‐coloured powders are used to obtain the typical appearance of natural marble of granite. (iii) Paradox – has a metallic look made with porcelain coloured body. The porcelain coloured body powder is pressed at high pressure to obtain densely compact tiles.

Mirdiff City Centre belongs to MAF Group that operates the successful & iconic shopping malls such as Deira City Center and Mall of the Emirates in Dubai. Mirdiff City Center is a 5.9 million ft shopping mall that opened on 16th March, 2010 catering to large community of locals & expatriate living in the city of growing urban area of Mirdiff. belonging to world’s biggest brands that appeal to high‐end market. Among these top retailers is the Landmark Group, one of the largest retail organizations in the Middle East operating over 900 stores.
Scope
Home Center and Home Décor belonging to landmark group required quality tiles with aesthetic value to complement their interior range of products that would enhance the outlook of their retail outlet.
Given the large amount of foot‐fall expected on daily basis, the floor tile required excellent slip resistance, minimal
maintenance and high durability.
RAK Ceramics had the perfect range of quality products that could meet the client’s expectations on the basis on aesthetic look and performance. RAK Ceramics was already specialized and used in most of UAE’s top retails outlets & major shopping malls. This made it simple for both consultant and client to choose RAK Ceramics.

Amongst these top retailers & leisure outlets are Kidzania, a fantasy edutainment area for children; Magrudy, a popular book store and Miri Creation, a leading designer rug manufacturer. Scope The interior of all three individual stores has a distinctive look and caters to their different customer needs. Kidzania uses variety of bright colours matching to different kid zones area and accordingly required tiles to complement the vibrancy of such a play zone. Magrudy required simple and elegant tiles that would match the classy interior of their bookstore. Miri Creations gives an elegant Persian touch to their store that had a combination of tradition and modern appeal, which was further enhanced with the right range of tiles. Hence, the complete tiling solution to aesthetically enhance the look of
their outlets was provided by RAK Ceramics who supplied product that precisely matched the feel and look of their floorings as required by individual retail outlets. The third concourse included in the expansion program to accommodate the increased number of passengers at Dubai Airport from the new A380 Superjumbo. Dubai airport will be one of the first airports to have regular visits from the first A380s in service. Dubai International Airport Concourse 3 is exclusively being built to handle Emirates Airline A380's. This is expected to be completed by late 2012. Scope This mega projects required a world class design, equipment and accessories to match the international standards. The overall project design was conceptualized by Dar Al Handasah –Shair & Partners and the main contractor for executing the project is ALEC (AL JABER L.E.G.T. ENGINEERING & CONTRACTING LLC). Concourse 3 is expected to be complete in 2012. It will encompass 11 floors with 50 airline counters, an 11,000m² retail area, a 32‐room five‐star hotel, a 170‐room, four‐star hotel, two restaurants and two food courts. It hosted the FINA World Swimming Championships 2010 (25 m), with participants from more than 130 countries,
which held for the first time in an Arab country. The stadium will host international aquatic events. It has total capacity of 15,000 spectators. Beside aquatic events, it will also accommodate dry sports events such as basketball, volleyball, netball, badminton, social and exhibition events. Scope Dubai sports complex is one of the landmark projects in Gulf region. The innovative structure revitalized by Faulkner Browns Architects and the main contractor for executing the project is Saudi Bin Laden. Dubai Aquatic centre, said to be the world's best indoor aquatic facility, is the key element of the arena located at the edge of Dubai Land. The centre is a two‐tier golden teardrop‐shaped facility with an Olympic standard 50‐metre pool along with another 50‐metre pool with a moveable floor. The project also includes changing rooms for 400 athletes, rooms for umpires and automatic
control, a stadium that can accommodate 3,000 spectators, main reception area, VIP waiting area, other waiting areas, multi‐purpose halls, health club, gymnasium, training pools, external garden with 100 trees, flower ponds, an open area for exercises, number of restaurants, VIP car parking area, public parking areas for 1,500 cars, and an area for parking buses of clubs, schools, colleges and universities and all other service facilities.

Radisson Edwardian Hotel wanted to refurbish the interiors of the bar to give it an updated chic look. The bar’s interior design brings West End style to London’s Heathrow Airport leaving a mesmerizing effect with its exquisite accessories. Moreover, the Radisson Edwardian Group was given a Platinum Award in the Green 500 initiative for installing a CHP plant unit at their Heathrow hotel saving £70,000 a year in energy costs. Scope

The new district of Barwa city is located just outside the heart of Doha, and comprises 128
apartment buildings, 6000 flats, and 1024 studio units. The vision of Barwa City is to provide 25,000

Scope
Barwa City is one of Qatar’s flagship projects which has to be completed in two phases. The first
phase of the development includes the construction of 5900 plus residential units that will
accommodate up to 25,000 tenants. The second phase will include the major constructions of 42 of
the 128 buildings, 7 schools, a 200 bed hospital, nurseries, banks, and commercial complexes.
The construction work of this mega project is undertaken by Bilfinger Berger Construction, who are
