DW  #6:  The  first  time  I  ever  used  a  computer  was  in  my  parents  house.  Growing  up,  we  had  a  desktop  computer  probably  older  than  my  grandparents  and  it  was  an  old  HP  that  had  a  100  viruses.  Yet,  it  stayed  working  for  us  for  about  10  years.  The  way  it  affected  my  literacy  narrative  was  that  it  provided  a  way  for  my  family  and  I  to  bond.  Since  that  was  the  only  computer  in  the  house,  we  all  had  to  share  it  and  this  provided  opportunities  to  talk  about  our  days  and  laugh  about  how  slow  and  frustrating  our  computer  is.
