Winter is breezy, sneezy, freezy
Tune: Jolly Old St Nick
Yellow, yellow daffodil, dancing in the sun,
Oh yellow, yellow daffodil, you tell me spring has come.
I can hear a blue bird sing, and hear a robin call.
But yellow yellow daffodil I love you most of all.
Five little flowers standing in the sun See their headsnodding, bowing one by one?
Down, down, down comes the gentle rain And the fivelittle flowers lift their heads up again!
I love the flowers.
I love the budding trees.
I love the chirping birds.
I love the buzzing bees.
I love the Springtime,When the sun is warm and bright,
Boom de-a-da, boom de-a-da,
Boom de-a-da, boom, boom.
(Tune:Twinkle Twinkle Little Star)

Short and fat
Here are my buttons,
And here is my hat.
When the snow comes out,
I cannot stay.
Slowly I just melt away

Had a carrot nose.
Along came a bunny,
And what do you suppose?
That hungry little bunny,Looking for his lunch.
Ate that snowman's carrot nose,
Nibble, nibble, crunch!!
Five little snowmen standing in a row,
They each have a hat,
And a big red bow
When the sun shines
Where will they go?
(shrug shoulders)
They melt, melt, melt, melt, melt...
(sink down to floor)
Warm hands, warm
Do you know how?
If you want to warm your hands,
Warm your hands right now.
Where did you get that little red nose? (Point to nose)
Jack frost kissed it I suppose (kissing noise)He kissed it once (hold up one finger)

If you wear your boots and raincoat, we will go outside
and splash a bit!

Scarecrow, scarecrow, arms up high

Scarecrow, scarecrow, bend your knee
Scarecrow, scarecrow, flap in the breeze

And the sun had gone to bed,
Up jumped the scarecrow,And this is what he said,

I can shake my hands like this,And I can shake my feet like that!"
Sung to: "The Grand Old Duke of York"
Oh, the frisky little squirrel
He gathers nuts and seeds.
He hides them for the winter months
So he'll have all he needs.
Oh, up up up he goes
And down down down he comes.
He runs around - goes up and down.
His work is never done.
These are brown leaves, fluttering down,
And this is the tall tree bare and brown;
This is the squirrel with eyes so brightHunting for nuts, with all of her mightThis is the hole where, day by day,
Nut after nut she stores awayWhen winter comes, with its cold and storm
She'll rest curled up,All snug and warm.

On my head, on my head.
Pitter, patter raindrops,

Five puddles, six puddles we can wade through.Seven puddles, eight puddles quite muddy, too!
Nine puddles, ten puddles covering tiny rootsEleven puddles, twelve puddles - we all need our boots!

I see the wind when the trees bend low.I see the wind when the flags all blow.
I see the wind when the kites fly high.I see the wind when the clouds float by.
I see the wind when it blows my hair.
I see the wind most everywhere!
If you feel the blustery wind,

If you feel the blustery wind,

What is fluffy white and floats up high,
Like a pile of cotton in the sky?
And when the wind blows hard and strong,What very gently floats along?

Rumpety, lumpety, bump!Zoom, zam, zoom, zam
Clippety, clappety, clump
Rustles and bustles and swishes and zingsWhat wonderful noises a thunderstorm brings.
The snow fell softly all the night
It made a blanket soft and white
It covered houses, flowers, and ground
But did not make a single sound!
Shhhhh!
Snowflakes are falling by ones and by twos
They fall on my shoulders and on my shoesThey stick to my eyelashes and to my nose
They stick to my mittens and to my clothesBut best of all they stick together
To make the biggest snowballs ever
Snow, snow swirling round,
Falling to the ground,
What an icy sight you make,
Dancing all around.
Snow, snow swirling round,
Flying through the air,
What a wintery sight you make,
Dancing everywhere.

A tooth fell out and left a space
so big my tongue can touch my FACE.And every time I smile, I show
A space where some-thing used to grow.
I miss my tooth, as you may guess,
but then- I have to brush one less
When I was one, I was very small.
I was not very fat, I was not very tall.
I had tiny feet and tiny toes,
Tiny fingers and a tiny nose!A little bit bigger, each day I grew.
I looked at me when I was two.I could jump, I could run,

Sleeping by a pond or log.
In the winter where's the snake?
In the mud beneath the lake.
In the winter where's the bat?
In a cave is where its at.

And we probably won't see him
Till the springtime when all he'll want to do is eat!

Here I am.How are you this winter?
Very tired, thank you.Go to sleep.

Oh, the ants are busy, busy as can be.
Oh, the ants are busy, busy as can be.
See them dig and dig and dig.
Lots of tunnels, oh, so big.
Oh, the ants are busy, busy as can be.
Sung to: "When John Comes Marching Home"
The ants came marching two by two, Hurrah! Hurrah! The ants came marching two by two
The little one stopped to tie his shoe. They all go marching down in the ground and out of the
rain,
Boom, Boom, Boom.
Other Verses:
The ants came marching three by three...
The little one stopped to climb a tree.
The ants came marching four by four....
The little one stopped to shut the door....The ants came marching five by five...
The little one stopped to take a dive....
The ants came marching ten by ten
The little one stopped to say THE END!
Once I saw an ant hill with no ants about.(fist with fingers tucked in)
So I said, "Dear little ants, won't you come out?"Then, as if the little ants had heard my call,
One, two, three, four, five come out?
(fingers are extended)And that was all!
Ants, ants everywhere
Ants on my apple,
Ants on my pear.
Ants at a picnic
Are not so great.

Sung to: "Do Your Ears Hang Low"
Can you wiggle like a worm?
Can you squiggle? Can you squirm?
Can you flutter? Can you fly like a gentle butterfly? Can you crawl upon the ground
Like a beetle that is round? Can you move with me?
Can you flip? Can you flop? Can you give a little hop?
Can you slither like a snake? Can you give a little shake?
Can you dance like bee
Who is buzzing round a tree? Can you move with me?

A bee is buzzing round the room,
Buzz buzz, buzz buzz.
A bee is buzzing round the room,
Buzz buzz, buzz buzz.
He'll buzz around the room once more,
And then he'll buzz right out the door.
And we'll all be glad whenHe is gone once more.
Here is the bee hive (hold fist together)But where are all the bees (hold up hands)

Bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (You can also use both hands and

Here is the chrysalis on a twig on a tree
Something is stirring. Let's wait and see
Something comes out with wings folded tight
Now they are spreading all ready for flight

What a bright time
It's the right timeTo rock the night away;
Jingle bell time is a swell timeTo go gliding in a one-horse sleigh!
Giddy-up jingle horse pick up your feet
Jingle around the clock-Mix and a-mingle in the jingling street
That's the jingle bell
That's the jingle bellThat's the jingle bell rock!

(German)O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,Wie treu sind deine Bltter! (repeat)
Du grnst nicht nur zur Sommerszeit,
Nein auch im Winter, wenn es schneit.
O Tannenbaum, o Tannenbaum,
Wie treu sind deine Bltter!
(Translation) O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Your leaves are so unchanging;
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Your leaves are so unchanging;
Not only green when summer's here,But also when it's cold and drear.
O Christmas Tree! O Christmas Tree!
Your leaves are so unchanging!

For a sleigh ride together with you
Outside the snow is falling
And friends are calling "Yoo Hoo"
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you
Giddy-up giddy-up giddy-up let's go-
Let's look at the snow
We're riding in a wonderland of snowGiddy-up giddy-up giddy-up it's grand
Just holding your handWe're gliding along with the song
Of a wintry fairy land !
Our cheeks are nice and rosyAnd comfy cozy are we
We're snuggled up together like two
Birds of a feather would beLet's take the road before us
And sing a chorus or two
Come on, it's lovely weather
For a sleigh ride together with you.

The Chipmunk Song:
Christmas, Christmas time is near
Time for toys and time for cheer
We've been good, but we can't lastHurry Christmas, hurry fast
Want a plane that loops the loopMe, I want a hula hoop
We can hardly stand the waitPlease Christmas, don't be late.
