Remarks
Approved values are employed as the maximum allowable temperature. The minimum allowable temperature changes greatly according to the compound, therefore only typical examples are given in the table. The above figures are based on a life expectancy of about 20 years determined for each material. However recent trends indicate that a function test should be conducted for determining these values.
Accordingly, the allowable temperature will change according to whether the material is for fixed or mobile use even for the same compound. Use the above table as a guide for selecting materials.
