Evaluation de la performance des Agences de la Banque

Par la methode DEA ( Data Envelopment Analysis)
Most bank branches in Algeria and their respective central decision making units are facing an increasingly limited supply of resources, changing regulations and persistent competition. This has led to a significant emphasis on the efficient utilization and allocation of on-hand resources by building efficient operating units to achieve the possible advantages of ‘scale economies.
There are many resources which affect the performance of a branch, when there is ‘overuse’ of such re-sources a congestion is bound to happen.
The common understanding of congestion is that an increase (decrease) in one or more inputs causes a decrease (increase) in one or more outputs
Hence, employees are more and more confronted with evaluation procedures.
our evaluation of 28 bank branches was based on a linear programming technique called DEA, Data envel-opement Analysis.
for information DEA as defined by Charnes et Al: Data Envelopment Analysis is a linear programming-basedtechnique for measuring the performance efficiency of organizational units which are termed Deci-sion-Making Units (DMUs). This technique aims to measure how efficiently a DMU uses the resources avail-able to generate a set of outputs.
where Relative efficiency of a branch is = Best Possible Peformance Actual Peformance
