  • How to Set Up a Router in GNS3

    Open up GNS3 via the shortcut on the desktop

    button and select the path to save the project in. Make sure you check Save nvrams and other

    disk files, and Export router configuration files.

    Drag a new Cisco 3700 Router under Node Types onto the design pane (blank whit

    the middle of the program). Also, drag a new Cloud under Node Types into the design plane.

    Right click on the new Cloud named C0, and click configure. This should bring u

    configurator.

    On the node configurator, click C0 under clouds. On the right hand side click the NIO TAP tab.

    Under TAP interface enter tap0, then click the Add button.

    Click the Add a link button under the GNS3 toolbar,

    the C0 node. When you click on the C0 node you should get a context menu that pops up. Click
