‘In Search of God’

We never realize that what is right in front of us. Besides what or who we are, we completely forget ourselves. Things that are far away from us are the most visible one which always attract our attention.

There is a story of a boy who wanted to find God. He came to a wise man and asked for direction, how to reach God. The wise man gave the boy a pigeon and told him to kill the pigeon in a place where there is no one to watch him.

When he reached to wring the pigeon’s neck, the pigeon kept looking at him and he realized that the pigeon would be seeing what he was doing? The next time he blindfolded the pigeon and took him into a dark cave to kill it.

There he realized that his eyes were open and were watching the pigeon being killed. So in his next attempt he blindfolded the pigeon as well as himself.

in his next attempt he blindfolded the pigeon as well as himself, so that each one of them will not be in a position to see what will happen.

When he was about to kill the pigeon, he realized that God is all around him and he would be watching him killing the pigeon. At that point he realized that there is no need to search for God .He is within and around us. This is the universal truth.
