Los verbos reflexivos To say that people do something to or for themselves, you use reflexive verbs.A reflexive verb has two parts: a reflexive pronoun (me, te, se, nos, os) and averb form. Here are all the present-tense forms of levantarse:
Many reflexive verbs in Spanish describe daily routine actions: acostarse (ue),afeitarse, arreglarse, bañarse, cepillarse, despertarse (ie), ducharse, lavarse, pintarse, ponerse, secarse, vestirse (i).
Except for se, the reflexive pronouns are the same as the indirect object pronouns. They usually come before the verb, but they may also be attached to an infinitive.
Me lavo la cara. Voy a lavarme la cara.
Remember that with reflexive verbs, you usually use the definite article with parts of the body or articles of clothing.
Me pongo la chaqueta. Me cepillo los dientes.

Culture NoteIn Mexico, a girl’s fifteenth birthday celebration, her quinceañera, is often one of the biggest ofher life. (The term quinceañera is used to referto the girl herself, as well as to the celebration.)It is often a huge family affair. Traditionally, thisday marks the transition from girlhood towomanhood. Depending on the family, it may
begin with a religious celebration, often aCatholic Mass. Urban families might lease abanquet hall and have a formal gala dinner.Rural families might have a more casualcelebration, perhaps outdoors, with plenty offood, music, and relaxing fun for everyone.

Es una película impresionante. Me
encantan los personajes y el argumento.
La música y los efectos especiales son
fantásticos. La gente no se aburre de

La película es interesante pero los actores no

cuenta la historia con detalles y es difícil de
entender. La gente que no conoce el libro no
puede entender de qué trata.
Sandra Gómez, 17 años, Maracaíbo

argumento no me fascina. Recomiendo

Saludos,Rosa
